Seeing Madhu crying with his tension-anger-frustration mood, Rishab left from there closing the door on her face without consoling her.
*** Why did he left me alone?
Will he return?
Did I do something wrong?
Did I merit this ignorance?
Was he at fault or me or? ***
He went directly to his office from there to meet his brother.
After 2 hours of discussion not only on business but over everything, he sent his brother to deal the project in Manali and went back to his apartment with peace and calmness.
Waiting outside the door for almost 5 minutes and not getting an answer from the other side, fear and tension which disappeared in last few minutes resurfaced.
Losing patience, he opened his apartment door with a spare key he took from his car.
Stepping inside the apartment, he found her fainted in the same place he has last seen her.
Taking her in his hands, he brought her to their room and made her lay on it.
He sprinkled water on her face from the bottle which was on the side table.
After few minutes of shaking and calling her name, Madhu woke up.
When he asked her how she is feeling now.
She replied simply ok.
And when he proposed to go to doctor for a simple checkup.
She denied saying that she was tired and if taken rest everything will be back to normal.
Evening turned and he brought soup for her to the room as she was sleeping since the time he left her alone to rest her body as well as her mind.
When she started to deny, he forcefully made her
have it.
- It's not concern, it's care. -
*** Did I overreacted?
Should I ask him to free me from this relationship?
No I can't and I don't want until he asks me to go out.
Will he talk to me like before? ***
After finishing it, she started to get down from the bed.
"Where are you going?"
"Your dinner!"
- Even now she cares for me.
I have seen love in her eyes.
I have seen affection in her eyes.
I have seen millions of emotions in those beautiful, innocent eyes.
Innocent is the word to describe her.
Purity is the word to describe her soul.
Exquisite is the word to describe her body.
Love is the word to describe her emotions.
Will she be the same when I tell her about my issue?
Will she accept me knowing my past?
Will she look at me the same way like now?
Should I tell her or not? -
"I already had it!"
She nodded and settled down on her side.
Rishab went near her to take a look at her tear strained face and softly caressed her cheek and hugged her without knowing the reason or need to hug her.
All he wanted at that moment is to hold her.
Hold her close to him.
Hold her if possible till eternity.
Stop this moment.
Memorize this feeling.
Capture this instant.
Once in his embrace, Madhu is drowned in all her emotions and initiated a soft sweet kiss which he broke after approximately 2 minutes and said
"I'm sorry!"
"Ahaan?"
As she wasn't completely out of her kiss and emotions when he spoke, so she is not sure of what she heard.
"Do you want me to repeat?" he glared gently at her and she confirmed what he said and what she heard was true.
"No No, I heard it!" shaking her head.
He took her lips in his and spoke in between:
"I'm sorry Madhu."
Few seconds after, still sucking her lips.
"Business tension and emotional turmoil."
"If I can be of any help" she commenced.
"I will tell you." he finished for her.
Next day, Rishab was not in mood to go to work.
So stayed there and worked using his laptop.
Madhu didn't dare to ask him anything.
One week passed like a speed jet and everything returned to normal.
Madhu had enough time to sort out her feeling in her own way.
Rishab made his way out of his insecurities.
He is no more in dilemma with his past issues.
One by one all started to fall in its place.
Rudra succeeded in getting that project as Rishab guided him throughout the different procedures.
It's Saturday today.
Rishab asked her to get ready to take her out for dinner.
Madhu was more than happy to go out.
No reason is needed when she is going out with Rishab.
Day went calm and afternoon when she went to take dried cloths from balcony.
THUND!
Rishab who was watching news channel precipitated to the balcony hearing a sound to find Madhu laying on the floor with few dried clothes scattered near her.
He scooped her in his arms and put her down on the couch before sprinkling water.
When she woke up few seconds later, Rishab asked her to get ready to visit a doctor as she seems week since few days. She tried to deny it but it was of no use with a determined Rishab.
Can anyone say NO to him?
They went to a nearby clinic of his friend's.
"Can you wait outside?" asked Dr. Mehra to Rishab.
He was waiting outside the cabin until he was called inside.
"I have prescribed few tests. You can do it in the laboratory in the next street."
"Is it something serious Deepali?"
"Don't worry Boss! Go and do the test now.
I will call them so that they can give the test results immediately.
I will be waiting for you two."
Deepali is one of his few friends who knows Rishab as he was and not The Rishab Kundra as the outer world know.
Rishab and Madhu left from there to laboratory.
*** Can it be like she suspected?
Will he believe me?
What will be my unknown future?
Oh God, help me! ***

Why Deepali was showing all her secret agent attitude?

All I want now is Madhu to be sound and safe. -
Doing the test, they went back to meet Dr. Mehra.
After analyzing, she congratulated them announcing Madhu to be pregnant and the fetus to be of 5 weeks.
Hearing this, fear gripped Madhu instead of joy to be a mother.
On the other side, Rishab became immobile for few seconds recalling all the past events before exiting from there without uttering a word to Madhu or to his friend.
He went to parking lot and inside his car locking the door.
Seeing his action, Madhu fear multiplied by tenfold.
She thanked Dr. Mehra and took a place in the waiting hall, lost in the tsunami of questions.
*** His face was expressionless.
What is he thinking?
Will he think that I cheated him?
He knows that I was only his and will always be only his, even if I didn't say it through words.
I saw it in his eyes that he knew it.
Why did he leave me alone here? now? without telling anything?
This is our child.
This is my child.
Even if he doesn't want this child, I will bring out my child.
Even if he throws me out of his life, I will give my life to my child.
I have to be strong.
I want to be strong.
I need to be strong. ***
- In all these years I thought I can't be a father.
I can't have a family.
I can't have a child to call me "Father".
How now?
I agree we had protection-less nights since last few weeks.
I agree she was only mine since the moment I saw her.
How is this possible?
I didn't even take treatment after Trishna left me knowing the result of the accident 6 years ago.
I didn't even take treatment knowing that the chances are less than 10% and can improve only a little.
Oh No!
I left her alone there!
What will she think?

He got out of the car and went inside the clinic to find Madhu lost in her thoughts.

He came close to her.
Feeling the shadow falling on her, she lifted her head to see his eyes with 1000s of emotions crossing each seconds now.
She stood up from her previous position with a protective hand over her tummy.
All her thoughts rushed to her eyes in form of tears.
- She is tensed because of my actions.
Fear is visible on her face but not a bit of anger over me.
Why will she be angry on me when I never let her expresse any emotions other than fear of me and my words and love which grew inside her without my accord.
Am I going lose her?
What to talk?
Never Rishab Kundra is hesitant to speak to someone.
But, why today? -
*** He is back.
He is in front of me.
What to say?
How to say?
Will he give a small place for us in him?
Will he give a father to this innocent soul inside me?
I don't want him to doubt me.
I don't want him to think bad of me.

Fear griping her throat, she started:
"It's" she couldn't finish her phrase.
"My child!"
He takes her in his protective embrace, caressing her tummy with a happy smile on his face.
He removed her tears and planted an affectionate kiss on her forehead.
Holding her one hand and enveloping her with free hand over her shoulder, they made their way out of the clinic.
No words needed there.
No eye contacts needed there.
Their heart spoke.
Their mind listen.
They started to cross the road in their new found bliss when suddenly they heard people screaming
"Move!"
"Car is coming!"
"Run!"
Rishab turning towards the sound found a car approaching them in high speed.
In an instinct / instant Rishab pulled Madhu to him and taking her in his arms brought her to the side of the road as he noticed the lady in the driver seat.
The car missing the target takes a small turn and hits the transformer.
It takes fire and there Rishab remarked the car and confirmed his doubt.
As feeling that Madhu is in stress and weak, he brings her back to the clinic and made her sit in the waiting hall.
He brought water for her and helped her to have it.
He took a place near her.
She placed her head in his shoulder and closed her eyes to calm her nerves.
Few seconds passed, both were in different world of thoughts and dilemmas.
Rishab came out of his question pool head hearing his phone.
He fished his phone and checked the caller ID to find out it's Rudra.
Taking the phone and making Madhu rest on the seat, he moved a little away from her before attending it.
He comes directly to point he wanted to talk
"I have to tell you something important Rudra, Choti Mom"
"She is no more my mom!" came the reply.
Silence prevailed few minutes before Rudra tells Rishab a new information.
"She made the accident."
Understanding what his brother referred to, he said:
"She had an accident."
The brothers discussed for minutes and Rishab headed toward Madhu asking her if she wants something to have.
This day revealed a lot of new and old information for the trio.
Rishab came to know that his brother rechecked his accident case with his friend after he came back from Manali.
Rudra has found out that Rishab doesn't have any health issues and the accident was created by his mother, second wife of Mohan Kundra, personal assistant of MK to gain the power over his properties.
Since his return from Manali, Rudra was spending his times in hospitals, bank, police office and company.
All started a week ago.
********** 1 WEEK AGO **********
They didn't just discus about the project but about Rishab 's feelings.
Rishab told everything to Rudra to make a clear image of Madhu except few personal matters to avoid further painful events for both, Madhu and Rishab.
He even told his plan of making her plead him to let her go, so that he will not feel hurt to send her out by his own.
Rudra knowing well his half-brother who is more than a father figure to him, convinced him to let time take the decisions and to not drown in his insecurities.
He told Rishab that their flat looks more like a home than anything else.
Getting all he learned from his brother about Madhu and trusting him.
Rudra came to the conclusion that, no matter what, Madhu will never try to leave his brother on her own.
Rudra told his brother what all he felt and think to give an outsider view to his inner-questions.
That day, Rishab feelings for Madhu shone in new lights.
And Rudra decided that he will seek his friend's help to see if he can help his brother to come out of his shell once he will be back from Manali.
It is the day when Rishab found Madhu in an unconscious state when he came back from office.

Rishab never called Mrs. Kundra as "Maa" since she entered in their life when he was 5.
He respected her for his father and the love she showered on him.
At the age of 18, his father passed away and there he started to see the world differently.
New responsibilities, new visions, new problems and new tensions.
It's then that he heard people talk about his Choti Mom.
But he always discarded those talks from his mind with the way she took care of him.
He was always distant from his family except Rudra , the little thing which brought a smile in the face of an 6 years old Rishab.
Time passed, distance grew between him and his house.
Yes, it's house not home.
Years passed and the situation rest similar.
At that moment he met Trishna, a London return who joined his college for the last year course.
They jelled up well at the first meeting itself.
Friendship turned into relationship with time.
When he proposed her for marriage, she accepted it without any second thought.
Both were happy for their marriage until that unforgettable car accident happened which turned their life upside-down, especially for Rishab.
Trishna left him knowing his impotence, telling that she wanted a family which she will not get if she marries him.
He came to know that Trishna married an American businessman 5 months after their broken engagement.
Rishab distanced more from his previous so-called happy life.
Started to have one night stands when he pleased but never a girlfriend and never allowed any emotions enter in him.
He buried the simple, honest, gentleman Rishab and reborn as rude, arrogant and powerful businessman Rishab.
Everything went as by his wishes until he met Madhu.
A simple innocent soul who brought back the lost Rishab.
Rudra remarked few changes in his brother but never related all this to Madhu as he hates the world which his brother is going in to and the word to describe it, until his brother told him about his feelings and the reality of their situation.

The events of this day made the trio live in their own world.
Rishab and Rudra came to know the real face of the late Mrs. Kundra which they ignored all these years.
Rishab was happy to begin a new life with his family in his home.
Rudra was in dilemma between his grief for his mother and joy for his brother.
Madhu, still in shock of what could have happened if the car hit her. But the acceptance of Rishab for her and their child made her feel relaxed.
After dropping Madhu near their apartment building, he went to help Rudra complete all the formalities.
"I didn't know Mom; I mean she was like this."
"It's not your fault."
"If I knew, we would have gone from"
"I would not have let you go and you are not going anywhere.
If she asked me I would have given everything I have.
I just can't digest the fact that she wanted to kill Madhu and our unborn child.
She was following us and especially me for all these years."
"I'm sorry brother!"
"Hey! Relax!"
"No I feel guilty for her actions. I don't know what can I do to repent."
"Be a good Chachu(uncle) in future and that's it!" Rishab said with a smile.
Trying to recover from his turmoil.
"How it feels?" Rudra asked.
"Great!"
"When are you going to express your feelings?"
"Maybe tonight. But before that I need to talk to her about me, you and our past."
"Hmmm"
"How come you know about her?"
Knowing who his brother referred as "Her", he replied.
"I decided to check your health report with my friend who is a specialist.
When he said there was no problem like that, I went to meet Her and there I came to know she is hiding something as Her friend was your doctor at that time.
I asked our bank manager to have all transactions from Her account for last 6 years and there I found that she transferred a bunch of money 6 years back to some Mr. Kali and there are monthly transactions to an Agent company.
I contacted Pa's friend's son Mr. Roshan to get help from him to know who is Mr. Kali and why she transferred money to that Agent."
"So you found out that the Agent company is to follow my actions?"
"Yes and I came to know more information than that.
Kali is a goon who died in an encounter 3 years back and he was responsible for your planned accident. His partner in crime confessed it."
Rishab didn't want to go back to the past.
"Let's leave the past and make a better future brother."
Rudra smiled and said "Go! Madhu bhabiji(SIL) must be waiting for you to have dinner." and he winked.
Rishab smiled at his brother shaking his head and left from there.
He was welcomed by a happy-smiley Madhu who was lost from the week before.
Once inside their home, he kicked the door shut and hugged her to his now-existing heart content.
They had their dinner with mostly Rishab talking about all he decided to tell her even when she said no need to tell about his past.
It was the first time she is seeing him talk this much.
*** I'm feeling lucky to be a part of your life.
My respect and love are million times higher than what I felt all these months.
I loved you.
I love you.
I will love you with my heart, soul and mind. ***

Never asked anything for her.
Never said no to me.

The talk in the dining table continued to their room but this time with their feelings.
"You are mine!

Will you marry me Madhu?"
She nodded her head with happy tears brimming from her beautiful eyes.
"We will marry tomorrow!"
He gives her a quick peek and bent near her belly.
Kissing her flat tummy, he tells his last phrase of the day with a happy smile before indulging in their passionate night which is going to be filled with moans and whispers.
"One more possession is coming to this world with My Possession!"
