Possibility of redemption

I see a possibility of redemption in Arjun's words. He said he would keep loving maya but if she sides with evilness, he would leave her forever. The direct thing is that arjun doesn't know of many of maya's crimes. But maya does. These words hit her and she begins blurting out the never talked about things before her mom, justifying herself in her own way. But I do believe she'll redeem this way, understand what's wrong and to what extent. The fear of losing arjun itself might bring her back.
I believe arjun will leave her after he comes to know she framed his brother because that's the weakest corner of Arjun. But she might then redeem herself to get him back. Endgame is ArYa according to me. Arjun's never leaving her till date might become the largest cause of her redemption.

This is the classical case of having the cake & wanting it to eat!

If Maya has to justify title of story & tagline message then her obsessive love truly should take a beyhadh form, when threatened with separation from Arjun!

So the prerequisite is that Arjun should leave her at same stage that to happen! What makes him leave her is something we have to watch for!

If Maya becomes beyhadh desperate, will she be good for anyone including Arjun?
Will Arjun accept her, if she unleashes more terror & mayhem?
Whenever Arjun wanted to leave her,she did not yield it to him in stead countered him successfully so far!
Her winning streak is only making her arrogant and the egoistic balloon gets bigger & bigger over time!
The Hot air balloon will keep flying or shrink or burst, we will have to wait & see!
Common sense says, it will get burst if the pressure goes beyond limit!
Hoping for a redemption is as good as hoping for a tamed Maya!
If Maya can control her obsession like any other sane person, then what is the need for 'beyhadh expectations' in this love story?

Why compare and even confuse with selfless or pure love as opposed to obsessive love, in the plot?

Maya's realization or absolute redemption if there is any will come towards the end of the show and in my opinion we will see a very dark Maya crossing all limits and justifying the tagline of the show.
If she does get redemption then in what capacity and how needs to be seen.

But it will happen only towards the end in my opinion and before that the tagline will be proven correct.

Also phase 3 will be revenge phase and Arjun might leave Maya by end of phase 2 in my opinion thus bringing out the darkest shade of Maya...it will not be a redemption phase in my opinion.

So long as she fights for him, there is no redemption! Maya's real redemption is to give up her obsession over Arjun & set him free! She has to accept a life without Arjun!
Is it really possible, if she continues to believe in her philosophy of 'Try to control your love, if you can not, then destroy it!'
She may not hesitate to kill Arjun, if he is going to resist her & then kill herself after that! Remember the Golden fishes! Difficult to believe her utterances are mere rhetoric!

If Saanjh is going to play Arjun's saviour & the entire family of Sharmas & Mathurs are going to root for Saanjh, will Maya be ready to eat humble pie? Will she surrender just to get a redeemed life with Arjun?

If no miracles were to happen, in all probability she will prefer a fight to finish & go down fighting than accept a defeat, from her arch rival!

And people might also like the revenge phase instread of redemption because no one likes "the crying and weak Maya"
I have a feeling that redemption is towards the very end.

Yes haan end tak hi ho na redemption! Koi baat nhi! But I believe that it's not that she's walked past any sort of redemption. Unless it goes the GG way, there will be some redemption. Like parso ke pehle waale episode me I really felt it's going the GG way. Kal waale arjun k dialogues se I feel something else. Anyways let's see what happens. The script of the show is a bit drastic.

Personally speaking I don't want this to be about Maya vs Saanjh...Why put Saanjh on a higher pedestal.

I do not want Arjun to end up with Saanjh...This is not a love story and i will prefer if it remains that only.

I would want the story to end this way - Arjun being with his family that is Ayaan and Vandana,

Saanjh moving on in life and realizing that there is life beyond Arjun too.

Maya - to realize that excess of anything is bad even love...Love doesn't mean to control someone...happiness doesn't depend on a single person and on cannot control love.

I always prefer happy endings so I would Maya to get treatment and get better and others also to stay happy

But since this is a dark thriller so m prepared for a dark ending too...So, yes phase 3 will in all probability will be about her obsession and revenge.

Maya will wreck havoc on everyone and might want to harm Arjun because he is going to leave her by end of phase 2 in my opinion and as that gold fish scene indicate and as she keeps saying that i will give him a second chance and if he fails then no one can save him not even Maya herself...So yes phase 3 will be the darkest.

As far as ending is concerned - We might see Maya get redemption either by getting treatment or by dying.

Or she might go down fighting till the very end

Or makers may go the Gone Girl way (Which i personally don't want) and Maya may win in the end

So, anything is possible

but mayas evil deeds have gone far away from the possibility of redemption...

even if She realises her mistake and comes on to be a better person, her criminal sorts of acts donot deserve to be forgotten and forgiven.

Her last scene will be with Ganesha for sure! Who knows? He may redeem her!
