first of all sorry for being late ,actually I was very busy with my exams 😕

guys I'm enjyin reading all the chaps😆
I haven't commented since chap 56 ,so in short I wud say all the chaps were amazing 👏 n especially chap 57,58,59 were very emotional 😭 written so well that make me cry yaar 😭 n next chaps were damn romantic 😳 especially that bath scene 😳 😳 n how can I forget dat 30 or 31 wala scene 😆 😛 impatiently waiting for the next update,plz update soon. 😃

Chapter 67: (Written by Shabs)

One week had past since the accident. Sidharth thoughts were focused totally on Dev.

He was consumed in his mission to put him behind bars, and to keep his Roshni safe. He had spent every minute of every hour searching for anything that could incriminate Dev...but nothing.

Roshni sat on the sofa, looking at Sidharth who was buried in his laptop

"So what we're all those calls about. You seem super busy today.. In fact you seem to be busy all the time"

Sidharth peered up from the laptop, let out a small chuckle, and continued his work.

"That wasn't a joke Sidharth" thought Roshni

Simmi bought her a cup of tea.

"It's good that Sid bought you downstairs. It'll be a nice change for you"

"Jee Ma..."

Soniya walked up to Roshni

"Ready Ma?...and how's my sweetie today"

"Better Sonu...Are you both going out somewhere?"

Soniya smiled nodding her head

'Actually we're going to this new cafe "Belle". It had a lavish opening yesterday, and I've heard great reviews about it. So we thought we'd check it out"

"Oh really...that sounds like fun. I'll come too.."

Without looking up from the latop Sidharth intervened

"Ah sorry Baby...you can't go. Your not well remember"

Roshni scrunched her face up

"I'm feeling much better now Sidharh. Besides I'm bored, and I want to go out. Since the accident I haven't been anywhere..."

"I said No. ." His voice was stern as he looked up from his laptop,

"But Sidharth. .."

"I said No..." Sidharth was adamant

Roshni was taken a back by his attitude

"Oh come on JeejuSa the fresh air will do her good. Besides you and Rahul are totally wrapped up in your work nowadays...so let her come. Promise we'll take good care of her".

"It's not that Saali Sahiba.. Roshni is not well, and I cannot take any risks, where her health is concerned."

"But Sidharth. ..." Whimpered Roshni

""I said No Roshni. .."

"But..."

"Roshni this conversation just ended.. You're not going anywhere and that's final"

Simmi looked up and stared between the two of them and was obviously taken aback by Sids harshness. She also sensed the anger rise in Roshni face.

"Roshni beta it's okay. Sid is just extra cautious when it comes to you Don't mind him.
Its only a matter of time, and I promise; whenever you're better we'll plan something. Now take care " trying her best to calm the situation.

Simmi kissed her on the head and left with Soniya

Roshni began to fume silenly as she watched them leave.

She sat silently flicking through magazines, and then stared at the same page of the magazine for untold minutes, without actually reading it.

Sidharth sensed the tension in the air.

'You okay love..." Sidharth asked lovingly, but there was no response.

She furrowed her eyebrows and pursed her lips together in an attempt to hold back a sudden surge of anger.

His shoulders sagged, and his eyes took on a look as if he had done something wrong.

"Baby. ..are you mad..."

She quickly spoke

"Mad me. Hahaha why would I be mad" her tone had a hint of sarcasm.

After a moments pause, and unable to control her gussa any longer, she took a deep breath..

"Actually I am mad. I'm very mad.." she hissed looking up from the magazine

"I'm sorry, but I think your behaviour was a little rude"

"Baby I was just ...:" but his sentence was cut short by Roshni

"Don't Baby me..."

"But Baby. ..."

"Baby Baby kar ke sach mein baby samaj ne lage ho kya? I'm not a baby, so stop treating me like one"

Realising her tone was becoming harsh she lowered her voice

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you Jaan. ..I know that you love me very much, and are genuinely worried about me. In fact you've been extremely caring, but will you promise me something"

Sidharth nodded and waited for her request

"Stop being so over protective. I know you want to take care of me...but since the accident your treating me like an invalid..."

"But Roshni..."

"No buts Sidharth..."

She looked Sidharth in the eyes

"You didn't bother to ask me what i wanted. You simply made the decision, and ordered me not to go..."

"Roshni you almost died. ...seeing you like that. ..I ..I...I can't risk loosing you. ...your my life my soul my everything"

"Matlab. ..I can't even go out for coffee now...Because of that stupid accident"

"Roshni ab mein tumhe kaise sumjaon. .." he thought to himself

"Sidharth I almost died...but I didnt... I survived .
Then why do I feel that even though I didn't die, my life has stopped"

"Roshni. ..don't say that..."

She shrugged her shoulders, struggling to keep her voice level down. She had a bit of a temper, and with the stress of everything, she was feeling overwhelmed.

Sidharth closed his laptop, and made his way towards Roshni. He sat down beside her and gently caressed her cheeks

" I'm sorry for being a little rude with you... but I just wanted to make everything comfortable for you. Your not well. I just want to keep you safe..."

"I know I've been a bit over controlling, but not in a bad way. I just want you safe and happy" his voice was apologetic

She tried, but couldn't stay mad at him for long,. His eyes were enough to melt anyone.

"I'm not upset Sidharth. ..its just that I feel like a prisoner, and you are my jailer.
People face life threatening situations everyday. That does not mean they should stop living their lives..."

Feeling she had been a little harsh on him she continued

"What do you want from me Sidharth... I'm feeling a lot better...and if it's okay with you, I want to go out.
I'm sure Ma and Soniya couldn't have gone too far...In fact I can still catch upto them. ..."

Sidharth was beginning to loose his cool. ..

"Look Roshni, what's the big deal if you don't go out today. The world isn't going to end... Why are you being so childish?"

Roshni narrowed her eyes, loosing her calmness again. .

"Seriously. If your going to behave like an overprotective mother, then obviously I'm going to be childish. Besides whats wrong if I want to go out."..

"Here we go again...Roshni why are you being so immature..."

"Immature and me...hahaha I thought you were the one that is being immature"

"I'm not in the mood to discuss this matter any further Roshni. I have other important things to do, than sit here discussing irrelevant things with you" his voice was harsh

"Matlab. ..my feelings are irrelevant. ..." Roshni fumed

Sidharth took a deep breath

"Look Baby ..I didn't mean that. What I'm trying to say is that you have not completely recovered from the accident. You had a near death experience. ...I don't want anything tohappen.to you. .."

"What's going to happen to me...your over reacting Sidharth. ..In fact I don't understand why you are being so possesive"

"I'm not being over protective. .I'm. ..I'm. .." but he couldn't complete his own sentence as he knew Roshni was right.

"Your not being over protective. ..hahaha very funny. Was that a joke Sidharth.
In that case can you explain the Security guard outside our bedroom, and ahh, and not forgetting the two security guards below our balcony.."

"That's...that's ah. ...ah. ..just precautions...better safe than sorry right" Sidarth joked. ..but felt cornered.

"Precautions. ...yeah right...whatever. .."

Fuming Roshni picked herself up from the sofa and grabbed her walking stick and turned to walk away. She hissed as she walked, as there was a sharp pain in her leg.

"I'll be in my prison ...upstairs" she retorted sarcastically

"Roshni. .Roshni stop reacting like this yaar. ..."

She ignored him as she limped away... Sidharth held her hand.

"Does it hurt...I can carry you up. ..

Roshni stuttered to reply

"No...I..I...I'm fine thank you very much...Please excuse me".

Sidharth followed her but was stopped by Roshni

"I need some time alone Sidharth. You continue with your important work. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine unless the roof decides to collapse, but at least I'll die carrying out your orders. ..." her face was full of self pity

"R...R...Roshni come on yaar. ...don't say that .." but to no avail as his words fell on deaf ears.

Sidharth huffed as he watched her retreating figure disappear up the stairs. He stood not understanding what to do.

Rahul and Kritka had witnessed the whole scene.

Kritka followed Roshni...mouthing "Relax Sid I'll talk to her. .."

Meanwhile Rahul turned to Sidharth

"Look Bro I think your being a little harsh..." confessed Rahul.

Sidharth turned to look at him and shrugged his shoulders.

"What else am i supposed to do...you know, but i have no choice...and you know very well why...Dev is out there somewhere. ..I just can't take the risk of loosing her.."

"I totally understand...
But Roshni doesn't know anything.
How is she supposed to react"

"I know yaar...But I can't tell her about Dev..." shaking his head Sidharth continued..

"How am I supposed to tell her that Dev is roaming around free and that he is responsible for everything that's happened to her...
I can't, and I wont allow Roshni to suffer any unnecessary stress.
You know she's not fully fit yet.."

"Hmmm, I understand and that's up to you Bro.
But if you ask me then you need to tell her soon. There shouldn't be secrets between husband and wife"

"I know. .I know and I will tell her...but not just yet. I need time... she needs time to get stronger..."

"As you wish Bro. By the way, did you find anything on Dev.." inquired Rahul

Sidharth shrugged his shoulders

"I've done everything that I possibly can, but nothing. He's very cunning, and has covered his tracks well.
He's dangerous Rahul. ..he's dangerous for my Roshni.
I need to find something against him. ..I need to do something fast..."

He looked back at the stairs...

"But right now I need to bring back my Roshni smile ...she's upset and I can't bear to see her like this..."

SIDNI BEDROOM

Roshni sunk back into the comfortable matress, and looked up at the ceiling.

"Samaj tah kya apne aap ko. .."

Roshni lay there in a daze and felt really confused..at Sidharth behaviour. She ended up biting her lower lips..

Kritika tapped her on the shoulder

"Look Sidharth just leave me alone. .." she yelled as she turned and noticed Kritika

"Oh sorry Kri I thought. ..I mean..."

Kritika sat down beside her on the bed

"I know. I heard everything "

"Do you think I was too harsh on him" asked Roshni

"I don't understand why Sidharth is behaving like this Kri. ."

Kritika took hold of her hand

"No. I don't think you were too harsh. In fact from where I was standing your Gussa was very cute..."

Roshni looked up at her...

"So Sid sent you to do his bidding. .." inquired Roshni

Kritika let out a little laugh

"No he didn't. ..In fact I'm not here to take sides. I love you both dearly. .."

Taking Roshni hand in hers again...

"Look Roshni. I know Bhai has been acting strange nowadays regarding you...but you can't blame him. He really truly loves you"

"I know Kri, that he loves me. ..and I love him too ..but still. .."

Kritika shrugged her shoulders. ..

"Roshni when you were unconscious in hospital, Sidharth was devastated.
I've never seen him like that before.
In fact he was breathing but he was not alive.
For three days he sat by your bedside, holding your hand. His eyes never left you... He went into a shell oblivious to his surroundings. He didn't eat drink or even sleep.
The Great Sidharth Khurana had become an empty shell. Day or night He cried, talked and sang just for you. Anything that would bring you back to him. ..."

"Sidharth. ..." tears began to roll down Roshni eyes

""Then that thief incident. ...he's trying to be strong for you... If anything was to happen to you. ..."

Kritika got up from the bed

"Just think from his point of view Roshni. I'm sure you'll begin to understand his actions..."

As Kritika turned to leave she saw Sidharth standing by the door...He had listened to everything

"In a way your right...Sidharth is being very selfish Roshni. .."

Sidharth looked at her not understanding

"Matlab. .." asked Roshni

"Matlab ke woh sirf is waqt apni khushi ke baare mein soch raha hai. .."

Sidharth still looked at bewildered. Roshni was unaware that Sid was standing there

"Apni khushi" asked Roshni

"Uski khushi tum ho Roshni. Tumhari salaamati is the most important thing for Sidharth. Tum nahin toh phir Sidharth ke liye khuch nahin. ..tum ho toh woh hai. .."

"Aur in saab mein Sidharth tumhari khushi bul gaya. ..He forgot to make you happy. .."

Kritika smiled and left Roshni pondering over the fact that maybe she had been to harsh on Sidharth.

As Kritika passed Sidharth she placed a hand on his shoulder and mouthed a "sumjhe"

Sidharth looked back at Roshni, who was unaware of his presence and walked away thing out his mobile phone

I'll make it up to you Roshni. .and I'll bring back that beautiful smile that's been missing for so many days. Please forgive me jaan. ...Please forgive me. .

Several hours had passed since Sidni little tiff...

Roshni sat on her bed.

"Itna time hogaya phir bhi uppar nahin aaye Sidharth. ..."

Looking back at the door...

"Maana that I was upset and I asked to be alone...but itni der ke liye toh nahin kaha tah. ..."

Taking a moment to think

"Maybe I was too harsh on him. He's been nothing but loving...caring...affectionate...doting... concerned...
Aur mein. .. I was so mean...rude...sarcastic...and a stupid idiot..."

Looking back at the door, and still no sign of Sidharth

"Ummm... mein sorry bholu kya. ..."

Roshni sat confused as to what to do, when there was a knock on the door.

"Excuse me maam this is for you..." a servant handed her a box and a letter

"Thank you" replied Roshni taking the box

Her heart skipped fearfully...

"Yeh letter...Sidharth...Oh God...has he decided to leave me. Had he decided it was too much.."

Her breath caught in her throat as she unfolded the letter

I'm sorry for the way I reacted this morning...
I know I was a little harsh on you. Please forgive me my love.
I was wrong and shouldn't have reacted the way I did
You know how much I love you, and can't bear to see you upset.
I hate not talking to you.

Instantly relief melted through her. How could she think for a second that he'd left her

"How cute is he" she thought.

She opened the box and found a beautiful dress.

The evening gown was an elegant deep Emerald green. It had a plunging neckline with delicate gold buttons all the way down the bottom of the dress. Next to the dress was accompaniments. An Emerald necklace with matching earings.

Blood coursed through her veins. She felt as if her heart would crash through her chest.

Everything seemed surreal and beautiful.
She thought of Sidharth waiting for her. Her hands shook as she hurriedly got ready.
She applied makeup but she really didn't need it.

Finally when she was ready she looked at herself in the mirror. She sucked in a deep breath and wondered if Sidharth would approve.

She gradually made her way to the lift and pressed the rooftop button.

When she arrived to the top, the lift doors opened and she stepped outside.
Her eyes wondered over the lavishly decorated rooftop. Red roses adorned huge vases and fairylights twinkled in every corner. As she walked balloons with "I'm Sorry" written on them kissed her feet...
She looked up and noticed Sidharth. He was leaning against the railings.

He wore a dark suit with a crisp white shirt and a green tie clearly selected to compliment her gown.
His adorable smile lit up his entire face when he saw her. It was clear he loved what he saw.

"Wow..." he drew out the word, as he stood dumbfounded. Warmth filled her cheeks.

He walked closer towards her.

He reached out his hand to brush it across her cheeks

"You look absolutely amazing my Love. Not that you don't always, but right now you are taking my breath away. ..."

Still stroking her cheeks

"And your skin is so radiant my love...and and..."

"And what?" Asked Roshni enjoying his touch

"And I'm so sorry for this morning behaviour" he made a cute face

"No!!!!..."

Sidharth suddenly removed his hand and looked at her

"Huh...But..."

"No...Sidharth..." she paused deliberately teasing him

"Lekin Baby..."

"No... I'm sorry Jaan...I was very rude with you. I know that whatever you do, is always in my best interest...I shouldn't have reacted like that"

Sidharth let out a sigh of relief

"For a moment I thought you were still angry!!"

He took her hand in his and looked into her eyes

"But on a serious note Roshni, I'm truly sorry for the way I behaved..."

"No I'm sorry. I behaved childishly..."

"No Baby you were right, I was being so bossy...so I'm sorry"

"Nahin nah Sidharth, it was my fault..."

"No it wasn't Baby, it was my fault, and I'm sorry"

"No nah. ..It was my fault" pouted Roshni

"Arrey nahin baba it was my fault" Sidharth replied cutely

Roshni smile disappeared and she grabbed his collar

"Look Sidharth it was my fault, so I'm sorry, Got it!!"

Sidharth raised his hands to surrender

"Okay okay it was all your fault and your forgiven..."

Roshni narrowed her eyes..

"Matlab. ...what do you mean to say it was all my fault" her grip got tighter around his collar

"But you just said...I mean...I mean..."

"It wouldn't have been my fault if you were not so stubborn Sidharth. ..Because you were stubborn, I over reacted and then it became my fault"

"Huhhh...so ahhh it's my fault right...and Huh..."

Sidhath was totally confused, but continued to say

"So it was my fault...All my fault. Sorry. Happy..."

"Happy...but..."

Suddenly Roshni realised what she was doing and let go

Both looked at each other and burst our laughing

"We are both Sorry...and..."

Sidharth was unable yo complete his sentence as Roshni took him into an embrace.
Instantly Sidharth nuzzled her neck, squeezing her tight against his chest. ..without hurting her.

"Do you know how much I missed you today Baby"

"Probably as much as I missed you Jaan"

Electricity spared through them both, as they continued to hug each other.

"So Mrs Khurana how did you like my gifts and this arrangement. ..."

Still holding him

"I love it Mr Khurana...and I love you"

"Hmm but I love you more. ..."

"Really" Roshni asked coming out of his hold

"One hundred percent..."

Roshni pouted "I'll prove that I love you more...just you wait..."

"Aacha. ...okay when these 17 days are over. ..."

"Hmmm. ..." Roshni replied

"I'll make you prove it..." he responded winking at her

Roshni let out a giggle

"Is that all you think of..."

"Ahhh..." pretending to think

"Yes" he winked as Roshni blushed

"Besides. ...when a husband has such a Beautiful Sexy Hot wife...His mind will only think of one thing right. So its not my fault. ...its all your fault..."

"Sidharth..." Roshni blushed looking away

Sidharth smiled watching her reaction.

"So my Love are you hungry" he asked as he took her hand and led her to a beautifully decorated candle lit table.
He pulled out a chair and helped Roshni settle down. He sat next to her still holding her hand.

"Wow all my favourite foods...you are so sweet Sidharth" Roshni squeezed his cheeks with love

"Hmmm.. not the reaction I was expecting" sulked Sidharth

Roshni furrowed her eyebrows

"And what reaction were you expecting Jaan"

"Oh you know a tight hug...or maybe a kiss" he replied touching his lips

"Kuch zyaada greedy nahin ho rahe ho"

"Haan ho raha hoon...Very greedy..." Sidharth said pouting his lips as he moved closer

"Itni mehnat subah se kiya hai tumhe manane ke liye...itne saare arrangements...toh reward toh banta hai nah Baby"

"Steady there Mr Khurana. ...you'll get your kiss but first..." she said seductivly stroking his cheeks gently with her index finger

"But first kya" Sidharth asked in a trace

"I'm starvinggg" Roshni screamed bringing Sidharth out of his trance

"Haad hai yaar. ...okay first Dinner then muwaaah"

Both giggled and Sidharth began to serve Roshni.

As he was about to serve himself

"What are you doing Sidharth..."

"Nothing Baby, I was just going to..."

"You know they say, Ek dusre ke jhute khane se pyar bar tah hai. ...so why don't we share" Roshni asked gazing into his eyes.

"Arre wah. ...meri biwi Romantic kab se hogaye ...I'm so proud of you. Spend more time with me, and I guarantee, you'll become as Romantic as me"

Sidharth picked up a fork and fed Roshni, who in turn took the same fork and fed Sidharth.
Throughout the meal Sidni could not take their eyes of each other.
They were lost in their own little world.

"Sweet" sighed Roshni

"Hmmm...Just sweet...I've rarely been called that before. Girls usually say I'm very Hot and Handsome...but sweet..."

"Sidharth I was talking about sweet...as in Dessert"

"Oh I thought..."

"By the way who are these girls that have called you Hot and Handsome..." Roshni queried with a hint of jealousy.

"You know girls in general..." with a small smile he continued

"Ahhh are you feeling jealous my love. ..."

"Me jealous hahaha...why would I be jealous. ...you are hot and handsome...so obviously girls will say nah.
It happens... I mean guys are always checking me out too...and saying things like sexy, hotness overload etc etc..."

Sidharth expression changed as his smile dropped

"Really. ..well if those guys ever say anything in front of me I swear I'll ..." but his sentence was left in complete as Roshni put a finger on his lips

"It doesn't matter what they say Jaan. ..because I'm yours and only yours to have and to hold for ever and ever"

Sidharth smile was back again as he pulled her in and kissed her cheek

"Now where's the dessert darling. ..." blushed Roshni

"Be right back Baby"

After a few minutes Sidharth returned with some donuts.

"Donutsss. ...Yummy" Roshni face lit up...

"Love you Sidharth..."

"I love you too Roshni:

Sidharth broke a powdered Donut in half and held it out to Roshni, she took a bite, and he popped the rest in his mouth.

Roshni smiled looking at him and then gestured to his lips

"You've got a little powder there Sidharth"

Roshni reached out to brush the white dusting of his lips, but Sidharth grabbed her hand midway and kissed her fingertips.

"I think it would be more Romantic if you wiped the powder away with your lips Roshni" His voice was seductive.

Roshni blushed for a moment and then moved closer.

"If you insist meri Jaan" this time it was Roshni voice that was seductive, which blew Sidharth mind.

Her lips made their way to his and kissed him, which sent a round of shivers through Sidharth. She gently kicked away the powder from around his lips, as Sidharth enjoyed every moment of her touch

"I never thought that eating donuts can be so much fun" Sidharth said romantically as he made his way back.to her lips for a another sweet kiss...

"I think we should have donuts every night from now on...because I like the way this dessert ends..."

Roshni stroked his cheeks

"Thank you Sidharth for this beautiful evening"

"No Roshni thank you for being in my life and being my life"

"Would you like to dance with me Sidharth. I think it will be the perfect way to end this night" asked Roshni

"I'd love to Baby...but I know of a better way that we could of ended this night, but that stupid doctor. ..." sighed Sidharth

"Sidharthhh" blushed Roshni again

"Oye Hoye. ..tumhara yeh sharmana. ...
Ek din, is dewaane ki Jaan le jaayegi .. tumhara yeh haaye sharmana"

He helped Roshni up from the chair and led her to an open space where they could dance

"Just wait darling...I'll put some music on..."

"No wait. There's no need for that Jaan. ..today I will sing for you"

"Sing my love.."
