CHAPTER 2
At the college:
It was noon time. Riya was sitting on the stares in the ground. She felt utterly grieved about ronnie's behaviour. A tear rashed to flow through her eyes..
Flashback:
Riya is sitting on couch in her room taking a sip of her coffee in the mug, suddenly her mobile rang. A smile speads over her cheeks when she looks at the mobile. It was ronnie.The guy whom she secretly loves more than herself. she picked the call and was hurried to say hello in excitement.
"Riya.." said ronnie in warm voice.
Riya closes her eyes taking a fresh breath and smiled.
"Riya...Hello...Riya? are you listening me?" asked ronnie.
Riya opens her eyes and replied " Ya..Ya i'm listening ronnie..tum bas bolo"."Umm..han to mein keh raha tha ke..can we meet tonight?" said ronnie."Ha..Han kyu..kyun nahi..kahan milna hai" replied riya while smiling."Umm...tonight my place at 12 pm" said ronnie.
"Ronnie...12 pm isn't it so late? i mean..itni raat ko" asked a hesitated riya."thik hai..agar tumhein nahi ana to koi bat nahi" replied ronnie in anger."N..nahi nahi...i'll be there tonight..tum..bas tum gussa mat kar please" said riya.
Ronnie smiled, "Thanks you..riya".
you're the first thing I think about when I wake up, the last thing I think about before I fall asleep, and everything in between. You inspire me to be the best person I can be. You have enhanced and enriched me and my life. You give me a inner strength to do and face anything. I promise I will always look out for you, try to make you smile, happy, feel loved, protect you, honor, and respect you. Finding you was the hard part, everything else is now easy.
12 PM At Ronit's Residence:
A hesitated riya standing outside the main door of the building , slowly she forwards her hand to push the handle of the door, the creaky sound along with darkness was enough to frighten her.
She moved her eyes as far as he could in the dark house..she closes her eyes and built courage in herself, steps in... and with the help of her mobile's torch , reaches in middle of the hall.
"Yahan to koi nahi hai.."she wispered.
Then suddenly , she heard a sound of someone's footsteps. Getting even frighten..she speaks up from her mouth "who's there" sweat almost poured out of her hand and face due to fear.
Suddenly , someone switched on the light's..and a gathering voice singing the birthday song vibrates in hall , to her surprise, riya's eyes were wide open , her mouth opens and shuts..she looked confused on how to express what she was feeling at the moment..then a smile spreads over her lips. She wanted to scream of joy when she saw ronit appearing from behind the others, holding a bookay of red roses and singing the birthday song. he came up in front of riya and hands over her the bookay saying " Happy birthday riya". "Thank you" replied riya while blushing.
"Happy birthday riya" arjun came forward and handed her an enveloped gift."Thank you arjun" replied riya.
Shree after a long waiting...rushed to hug riya and gives his best wishes to her.
chottu, standing besides them felt annoyed and said " Bas kar na shree thori wishes hamare liye bhi rehne de".
"le..tu de le wishes" said an irritated shree while rolling his eyes.Chottu hands her a gift and gives her best wished to her.
"Ho gaya tum logo ka drama? ab hatto peechy hattu" said aisha."Kaisa laga hamara surprise tumhein riya?" said aisha excitedly."Boht acha..tum logo ne kiya yeh sab?'' asked riya happily.
Aisha: Yes..sab ne mil kar tumhare liye ek choti si paty organize ki hai
Riya : thank you so much for your love guys.
"come riya..we have another surprise for you" said ronnie while holding her wrist."but kahan" questioned riya.
Ronnie holding her hand took her to the spot (Back side of the house)where a well decorated cake holding beautifully riya's (name written on it), was laying on the table decorated with white and blue cloths and flowers.She felt even happier.
"Come on birthay girl...make a wish" asked ronnie.
Riya bent a slight and made a wish and blew all candles in one go. other's standing around sings the birthay song and clapping.
Riya was smiling freely today..her joyfull face dragged arjun's attension. He goes on watching her happy with joy, sharing her happies moments with his best friend from a corner of the hall.
Watching all this, he himself had a smile on his cheeks. He had never seen such happiess in his entire life till yet. He was alone..he always felt lonely and disappointed but after getting a friend like ronit he had a cause to live..and to live happily.
While he was busy in feeling the joyness of the party, ronit came up in front of him. "Kya baat hai bhai..itna chup chap yaha is kone (corner) mein kyu khada hai" asked ronnie."nothing dude...tu bata what's the next plan" asked arjun.
"the time is to propose her yaar..come on give me the ring where is it?'' questioned ronnie.
arjun brings out a small box out of his pocket and handed it over ronnie saying " ye le teri amanat".
"Thanks buddy" ronnie smiled and rushes to go when arjun stops him. "Think about it once again buddy" advised arjun." Sochna kya hai buddy..i've decided..ke aaj i'll say her everything" replied ronnie. "Cool..teri khushi mein hi meri khushi hai dost..go" and arjun smiled. "Thanks dude" said ronnie and went away.
"Riya..i have another surprise for you" shouted ronnie."Another surprise...Kya" asked riya."close your eyes first" said ronnie.
Riya: par..
Ronnie: close it na..please
"Okay..and she closed her eyes.
bending down on his knees, he rises his hand holding a beautiful ring in his thumb and index finger."Open your eyes riya".
Riya slowly opened her eyes, got surprised. " Miss Riya Mukherjee..Would you like to be mine forever?" asked ronnie. For a while she felt like every thing has paushed, the tick tock of the clock has stopped, Her heart has stopped beating..coming to her senses she thought it to be a dream. yes..it was her only dream to be a girlfriend of some popular guy like ronit. And today her dream came true.
"Riya...what happened you haven't replied yet..You'll be mine na?" asked ronnie.
A tear of joy rolled on her cheeks, she smile and noded her head.Ronnie smiled and got up on his feets back. he moved his hand forwards to hold her hand, making her wear the ring.
All others clapped at this happy moment.
Flashback ends:
coming in the present time, she begun to cry hardly,closing her eyes, she took a deep breathe."Tu itna kamzoor kaisa pad sakti hai riya..no boht hua ab..you have to face him.Ek waqt tha jab tum meri hansee ki waja thy aur aaj ek waqt hai jab mery inn aansu ki waja ban gaye ho" murmured to herself. She wipe her tears and got up to measure her steps.
Suddenly someone holds her wrist to stop her to move. "Ruko riya" he said. " Arjun..." she hurried to move round. "Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho..aur yeh mera..mera haath chodo" said riya."Look riya.." she puts all force in setting her hand to be freed from him. "Listen..You can't free yourself until i finish" said arjun in a bit harsh voice.
"I don't want to hear a single word from you arjun" said a furious riya."Why do you hate me this much..we were fast friends at a time" asked arjun.
"At that time..You wasn't so cheap as now" replied arjun."Cheap?" asked arjun sadly."Yes...you've heard right Mr. Arjun Rawte..Dost toh tum ronit ke hi ho na" said riya.
"Just because i'm friend of ronit you can't judge me like this" replied arjun."Whatever..just leave my hand and let me go..right now" said riya in harsh voice.He..then set her free and let her go. Till now she had leapt up a few steps when she lost her balance and was about to feel down when arjun move ahead to save her, holding her waist and hand. Arjun's heartbeat slows down, his body began to shiver, losing his senses..he was gazing riya. While riya was staring at him with her cold eyes. " coming to his sense he released her. At the moment ,both were trying not to look at eachother. "umm..." murmured arjun. "Th..thanks arjun" saying this a hesitated riya turned to leave.
Later at arjun's residence:
Ronnie sitting on couch is busy in watching TV, the hall is messed around with wrappers and wastes. On the other hand arjun is busy in making lunch for both of them in the kitchenet.
"Arjun yaar aur kitna wait karwayega ab...pet mein chuhe kood rahe hain" asked a hungry ronnie.
Arjun: bas thori dair aur..by the way ronit..
Ronnie: hmmm..kya hua
Arjun: Sam ki kuch khabar mili..kab aa raha hai
Ronnie: Pata nahi yaar kafi time se baat nahi hui
Suddenly Arjun's phone rang, " ronit phone utha na zara..mery haath gande hain"
Ronnie gets up from the sofa and ran to pick the call.
"Hello..?"
"yeh..dosti..hum nahi todein ge..todein ge hum magar tera saath na chodein ge" sang a guy from the other side.
Ronit had a big smile on his cheeks. " Sameer" called ronit. Arjun surprisingly get his attention towards the call." Kya..sameer ki call hai, ronit speaker on ker na" asked arjun happily.Ronnie turned on the speaker. " Haan mein hi hoon kameeno...kaise ho" asked sameer."Hum theek hain tu suna kab aa raha hai wapis, jab se gaya hai humein toh bhool hi gaya tu" replied arjun. " Arry fikar na karo yaaro, i've a surprise for you" said sameer. "surprise..Kya jaldi bol" asked ronnie excitedly. "Open the door" replied sameer.
"What..kya matlab" asked a confused ronnie, Arjun smiled, ronit looked at his smiling face and he himself began to smile. Both called out "Sameer yahan" and hurriedly ran towards the door, Opens the door together, there was standing a Dashing , hot, handsome hunk guy, he was Sameer Rathod AKA Sam, their third childhood best friend.
Both hugged him together. "Oye saalo..bas bhi karo, andar to aany do" Said sameer.
Later
The trio are sitting on the couch. "Aur sunao yaaro..2 mahine kya hue mujhe yahan se gaye, tum dono to kitna badal gaye ho" asked sameer. "Arry kuch nahi yaar..bas wo chipku se jaan chuti finally" replied sameer. "What?? you mean that...riya?" said sameer shockely.
ronnie: tujhe kya hua tu kyu itna shock ho raha hai
"Nai..i mean..tu toh us se pyaar karta tha na" asked sameer. Ronit laughed and said "Bhai tu to janta hai..ke ronit ki life mein kisi larki ki koi jaga nahi hai". "but..arjun..how did you let all this happen??" asked sameer.Arjun puts his eyes down, searching for an answer to give.
"Arjun i'm asking you something..i need an answer damn it!" yelled sameer.
"I can't do anything in this matter sam..i'm helpless" replied arjun with soft voice." Bas kar sameer..aaj fight na karna us ki side le ker" requested ronnie.
Sameer: Ronit tu bohat galat kar raha hai riya ke saath..bechari
Ronnie: Bechari wo nahi tu hai sam. arry bhai i know tu riya ki itni side kyu leta hai, us ki dost wo..kya naam hai us ka..haan Aisha..us mein kaafi interest rakhta hai na" And he laughed while teasing him. "Saale baat ghumana koi tujh se seekhe" replied sameer and laughed.
"Aur tu bata arjun..koi larki pasand aayi tujhe ya nahi??" Asked sameer.
Hearing this...he looked up and riya appears in front of his eyes..sam's question reminds him about the girl he uses to like since last two years but always has precluded.
Precap: Sam meets Aisha. Ronnie misbehaves with riya.
PS: Ignore grammatical mistakes
i know in this chap there was short ariya scene but in next part you will get lots of raisha and ariya scenes. Till that plz do hit like and leave your comments.
