What is Beyhadh & who decides that?
There are certain well-laid guidelines what can be exhibited for public viewing & generally those norms are well adhered to! Even though, it varies from one medium to another! What can be seen in web-series -perhaps- can not be shown in a predominantly home entertainment TV channel!
Given those kind of restrictions on Channel & Producers, who sets the next level of limits? The Creative team, of course!
Whatever the creative team expects, the actors are supposed to perform & if certain aspects of comfort levels of actors are properly addressed in the contract, then every body will be on board!
So, the CVs decide the content & script is converted into an exhibitable show!
Then comes- the appetite of audience! Whatever is dished out should be also lapped-up!
If it is resented by audience, then makers will be forced to re-think & readjust the course, in a daily soap, it has to work to some extent dynamically!
In this background, it appears that this show is all set to explore the limits of beyhadh only from their audience! The CVs would have some idea but that will be put to test!
The Key character is a declared grey character, even before the show started! No surprise for anyone! It is a novelty & the makers are passionately testing the ground.
They have every reason to grin if a grey character is receiving so much adulation!
Maya will be on a roll as long as she gets loved by her audience! Why should she give up her quest for beyhadh, if her acts are getting shoved easily down their throat & even possibly getting it all digested with such a massive appetite seen all around!
Maya has changed her persona/attire from white to colors. colors to grey! Now, even grey to black, so long as the audience's interest levels don't go colorless!
She will test where the limits of beyhadh really exist with her evil acts! Nowadays even Arjun says ,"she is buri & not bimar" & he does not mind her 'beyhadhagi' because he does not want her stop loving him!
When Maya undertakes a journey in quest of beyhadh, she is unstoppable.
Will there be a return journey, too or it will be too late for her?
When she reaches the summit & her journey will have its inevitable conclusion!
But looks like, she is ready for that too!
