"Bharosa" and "yakeen" are two terms that have often been used interchangeably in the forum.

Bharosa - Trust
Yakeen - Belief

There's a lot of difference between Trust and Belief, while Trust is a more significant and long term emotional commitment, Belief just refers to the credibility of a specific incident.

The follow distinction can be made in accordance to the Bible:

Belief is religion. Trust is spirituality.

Belief is intellectual. Trust is mental.

In Belief you preserve control. In Trust you surrender.

From Belief you expect to earn something. Having Trust, you are consciously aware that you might get hurt but you know that it is for a greater good.

Belief is essential for Trust, but it's not the same for the other way round. Without Belief, Trust is a mere illusion.

Belief usually is obtained with proof. Trust is, ironically, blind.

In the last Beyhadh episode, Maya proved to Arjun through her CCTV camera footage that she wasn't entirely responsible for what had happened with Vandana. She even said something about "yakeen" at the time. Maya proved her point, a point that related to a specific incident, hence the term Belief was correctly used as there was something backing up her statement.

Maya and Arjun's 'relationship' is clearly not working. One of the reasons is clearly the lack of Trust as well as Belief that rules their marriage. CCTV cameras were a terrible decision on Maya's side. No human can stand being watched 24/7, even if the person observing is their significant other. Some could justify the camera instalment by the fact Arjun and Saanjh were having a so-called-affair soon after the ArYa wedding but all that is just ridiculous make-belief.

Are you sure about it?? I mean trust generally being blind thing

We generally call religious belief and not religious trust, and religious beliefs are blind without any proofs ( we all know religious books are no proofs)

Sorry for getting off topic but this was the first thing in my mind when I saw this

What I meant by trust being blind was that a person, if trusting someone, would not seek an observational (or any type of) proof.

Religious beliefs are considered to be blind merely because of the fact there really isn't much of a proof to them, perhaps, hence the name? I'm not too sure regarding this specific point, but then, there's the fact these are most commonly referred to as blind faith, which is something completely different altogether.
