Star Plus popular show Ishqbaaz produced by 4 Lions is definitely on our list this week primarily because of the events that rolled out last week. While it is a treat to watch ShivIka romance reach newer heights and their love-story move forward; last week saw Shivaay looking into Anika's past and trying to unearth the truth about her lineage, while Anika was seen trying to find out if Shivaay and Mahi is connected in some way. Between the two it was a treat to watch Shivaay's side of things much more than Anika's because of how it was executed. The war waging within Shivaay whereby two sides of him - a man who has helplessly fallen in love with a woman who stormed into his life like nothing he has experienced before and between the one who can't let go of his beliefs which he held on to for as long as he can remember was brilliantly shown. Also the build-up was excellent be it during the puja sequence or when Shivaay purchased the orphanage just so that he could get the details he was looking for or when he assumed that Anika was the granddaughter of an highly respected industrialist.

Shivaay's happiness on learning of Anika's lineage and the gloom that shadowed his face when Mr. Bajaj revealed the truth that Anika wasn't his grand-daughter paves way for the million dollar question - Does Anika's past : her family name, lineage etc truly matter so much that it is impossible for Shivaay to find peace without knowing about it? For Shivaay is a person truly defined by "Naam, Khoon and Khandan"? So if tomorrow Anika turns out to be just a simple girl with a family name, status and lineage that comes no where closer to the Oberoi's would it impact Shivaay's love and feelings for Anika? This week viewers will get answers to many of these questions that has been constantly ringing in the back of their minds every since this track started.

The transition in Shivaay's character from the first day we met him to now has been mind-boggling. From taunting Anika at every step of the way for being a middle class girl to finally falling for the same girl has been a journey worth watching. But today the story has come back to the same point from when it once started. While things may have changed drastically with regard to Shivaay's feeling aka his heart, his mind is still struggling to let go of his "Naam, Khoon and Khandan" mantra which ruled a major part of his life. But what would happen the moment Anika realizes this? Looks like a heart-break is in store for Mrs. SSO on knowing that these factors matter to her husband no matter how much they love each other.

Ishqbaaz is in for a roller-coaster ride this week with the need for finding Anika's lineage consuming Shivaay and the turbulence it brings in ShivIka story. But then again what new secret will Anika unearth? It would be the baap of all twists, if what Anika find out about Shivaay and Mahi will be the raam baan' to break Shivaay's belief about one's lineage. Ever thought about it?

So many possibilities abuzz but will the CV's deliver? Only time will tell.
