He sat in the drivers seat, turning to her and smiling
"You okay nah Baby.."
She nodded her head as Sidharth started the car. He was finally taking her home...
"I'm better than okay. ...I'm going home. ..I'm so happy"
"Me too Baby. ...me too"
The gates of the Khurana mansion opened as the family stood waiting to welcome Roshni.
Sidharth got out and went over to Roshni door
She felt his arm going under the crook of her knees, then she was in his strong arms. He was carrying her, kissing her forehead.
Simmi stood with a taal as they approached them. The ritual was down and Sidharth entered their home.
LATER SIDNI BEDROOM
Sidharth gently lowered Roshni down onto the bed, as he gazed down into her eyes.
Roshni eyes reflected the light from the chandelier, and seemed brighter and more magical than usual.
"What happened Sidharth?"
"Your so beautiful Roshni" he was almost in a trance.
"And your so handsome" she released a small chuckle
He smiled and then looked away, breaking the spell she had on him.
He puffed up the pillows behind her and helped her to lean back on them.
He lovingly brushed away a lock of hair that fell on her face, and tucked it behind her ear.
"If there's anything you need Roshni, anything, just let me know. But don't try and get out of this bed. You understand. Consider it an order.
"An oder...hmmm. And if I get of the bed then?" She asked raising an eyebrow
"Then my darling wife, you will be severely punished" he said in his husky voice
"Punished...and what will be my punishment"
Sidharth leaned in and brushed his fingers against her lips
"I can give you a quick demonstration if you want,, and I
won't let you come up for air" he said seductively
Sidharth continued playing with her lips..
"Sidharth. ..The Doctor said..." but her sentence was cut midway
"The Doctor only said that we shouldn't get physical. He didn't say we couldn't kiss"
Sidharth smiled mischievously, looking down at her lips.
Roshni blushed, biting her lower lip.
"But what if I'm hungry, then"
"Mein hoon nah. I'll feed you"
"If I want to go downstairs"
"Then I'll carry you down"
"And if ..."
Her sentence was cut short again
"Then I'll do it! Whatever you want my love...I'll do it!"
"I promise I'll be here whenever you need me"
His tone was gentle, reassuring but stern.
Her chest tightened at first and slow tears began to run down her cheeks
"Why do you love me so much Sidharth"
Sidharth shrugged his shoulders
"Koi apni zindagi se pyar kaise nah Kare. .."
He looked at her with so such intensity...
"All I know is the moment I saw you in Paris, my heart tumbled, and it has never recovered"
Roshni cupped his face in her hands
"I love you Sidharth"
"And I love you more" replied Sidharth
He brushed his lips against her forehead.
He lay down beside her, and wrapped his arms around her gently. His body was so warm, so strong, as she snuggled up against him.
It didn't seem possible but he pulled her even closer, and all she could think was that she wasn't close enough.
His arms felt so wonderful around her. She felt safe.
He tilted up her chin
"Are you hungry. Shall I get you something to eat, because it's almost time for your medication"
She couldn't help but smile
"Apne hathon se khilauge kya"
His hand trailed from her chin up to her hair
"Of course Khilaunga..hum ape kadim janab"
Roshni let out a happy sigh, and nestled her head further into his chest.
"No I'm not hungry yet..Maybe later."
Sidharth looked down at her. It felt so wonderful to have her in his arms.
He pulled up the blanket, and wrapped it around her. Pressing his lips against her forehead, taking in her glorious scent.
She smelled incredible, he was finding it hard to resist her.
She was warm, sexy and delicate. The thought of making love to her sent his mind soaring with desire.
But at the moment nothing mattered more than her health.
It had taken every ounce of his self control that he possessed to keep his thoughts from wondering.
He just wanted to protect and keep her safe forever in his arms.
"I missed you so much Roshni. When you were unconscious in that hospital bed, I felt as if I was lost..
I couldn't eat or sleep. Everything around me felt like a lie.
I couldn't breath, it felt suffocating. My heart ached without you, because you were my heart beat Roshni.
You rule my heart Roshni, and it beats only for you. If anything had happened..." he left his sentence incomplete. He couldn't say the word
"Sidharth..I'm so sorry I put you through all that pain...I..I"
Sidharth placed a finger on her lips
"Sssh Baby. ..It was an accident...It wasn't your fault. .I just wanted to tell you how much you mean to me, and how much I love you..."
"I love you too" her voice was weak..
Both lay on the bed cuddling each other, not saying a word
Having his strong protective arms around her, was the best feeling in the world for Roshni.
Roshni felt safe and secure. ..
Sidharth rubbed her arms in slow circular motions, with his thumb. ..as Roshni played with his shirt buttons. .
It wasn't long before Roshni body went limp, with sleep, and her soft breaths warmed his chest.
He wondered whether he should wake her. She hadn't eaten or taken her medicines.
"Roshni. ...Roshni. .." he whispered into her ear, , but she did not respond.
He decided to let her sleep for a while before waking her up.
His thoughts shifted to Dev.
Immediate fury welled up inside him, at just the thought of him.
"I'll find you Dev Saxena. I'm going to make you pay for the pain you have caused my Roshni. It's just a matter of time. ..."
He looked back down at Roshni who was snuggled cosily in his arms.
She was his and only his. He wouldn't let Dev harm her ever again.
Slowly his anger subdued as he watched her sleep peacefully besides him..
NEXT MORNING
Roshni woke up in Sidharth arms. She looked up at him. He was already staring back at her.
A glorious smile spread over his face
"Good morning my love"
She smiled at him, surprised he hadn't altered
his position overnight.
She cleared her throat
"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" She knew he couldn't have.
"Never better, my love. I think we fit perfectly together".
She looked at him confused
"Matlab"
He pulled her closer gently to demonstrate.
He slid his arm underneath her and sat up with her in his arms
"See perfect"
"Your crazy Sidharth" she smiled
"And it's all your fault Baby"
She tried to get up, but felt a slight pain.
"Oochhh"
"And where do you think your going" Sidharth asked raising his eyebrows.
"I need to brush my teeth"
Sidharth got up from the bed, and picked her up in his arms
"Sidharth what are you doing?"
"Like I said, I'll be doing everything until your better" he winked
He looked at her as he carried her to the bathroom
"You know you haven't eaten any thing since last night. Nor did you take your medication"
Roshni pouted
"Then you should have woken me up. It's not my fault these medications are making me sleepy all the time"
He gazed at her and shook his head.
"Obviously it's all my fault...I should have woken you up".
Sidharth straightened Roshni up against the sink, as he positioned himself behind, holding her stable. She took her brush.
"I've got you. You can brush your teeth"
He grabbed her waist and allowed her to rest against him.
Roshni picked up her toothbrush. ..looking at him through the mirror
Unknowingly, and unable to control himself, Sidharth buried his head against the nape of her neck. Chills run down her spine as he worked his way up her throat with small kisses.
"Sidharth kya kar rahe ho"
"Pyar kar raha hoon. ...aur kya. ."
He pushed her hair to one side so that he could continue kissing the line of her jaw upto her ear.
His breathing quickened, as Roshni closed her eyes. ..
"Sidharth"...she whispered under her breath
"Don't mind me Baby, you can continue brushing your teeth" he said in between his kisses
She pulled in a deep breath, feeling as she would collapse any minutes in this flow of emotions.
He touched her cheeks with his cheeks, as he looked at her in the mirror
"Haven't you started brushing your teeth yet Baby ..I can stand here all day. I won't mind"
She looked back at him...His one look made her go weak in the knees
Sidharth smiled mischievously "what happened you want me to continue kissing you kya.."
"Yes...Yes...No. ..No...I mean I...I"
She rested her head against his broad chest
"I mean yes, I'm going to brush my teeth now"
She picked up the paste and squeezed it onto her toothbrush.
She stepped away from his embrace, trying to calm her nerves,...
She tried to focus on her toothbrush, but couldn't. Without realising, she continued to squeeze the paste out onto her brush
She avoided looking at him in the mirror, and felt that if she looked at him, she would melt again
Sidharth arms encircled her again tighter, continuing his sweet torture. ...leaving a trail of wet kisses wherever he could... neck..cheeks. .shoulders. ... .
After a while, he looked up again
"Hey you didn't leave me any toothpaste for me" his voice was a low whisper in her ear.
"Ah. ..."
She looked down to see she had squeezed most the toothpaste out into the sink
"Oops. .." she was embarrassed by her own behaviour
He smiled down at her, as his arms reached around her shoulder to the tube of paste, which she still clutched in her hand.
"Daayan kahaan hai tumhara" he teased
Roshni stood quietly without responding
He squeezed what was left onto his toothbrush. He kissed her gently again on her neck and began to brush his teeth, still holding onto her with one hand, for support.
Roshni blushed and gulped hard before brushing her teeth.
After they were done, Sidharth strong muscular arms encircled her again and lifted her up in his arms.
He carried her back to the bedroom. He stared intently into her eyes as he carried her back.
He placed her down on the sofa.
"Do you want breakfast first or do you want to take a shower first".
She swallowed hard
"B-B-B-Breakfast. ..."
He smiled.
"I'll be right back Baby..." he winked as he went down stood get her breakfast
"Shower..." she squeezed her eyes shut as her cheeks went red..
