Is Maya a negative character or just a darker shade of grey?

Lately around the forum, Maya's negativity seems to be the latest topic of discussion, be it Maya's unpredictable actions or Jennifer's latest interview, everyone seems to be questioning Maya's niceness (if any).

Long back, I have seen Maya labelled as a glorified vamp in the forum (credits go to whoever came up with the creative description), but is she really a negative character? Or does she remain grey? Charcoal, perhaps, questionably the darkest shade of grey?

I personally do not consider Maya entirely negative as yet, certainly a darker grey though. She has done wrong things, several, but they are all justified by her, having logical explanations at the back of her mind. I think it would be correct to consider her downright evil only if her actions reached an ultimate level of extremity, something that even she failed to explain and happened for the mere sake of it.

Maya feels for only Arjun, Jhanvi & herself!
Others don't count!
If they obstruct her plans, she will not hesitate to do anything with them!
It does not matter if her actions are legal or not!
She is a law unto herself!
Is she an outlaw? -the CVs are dodging us, by refusing to divulge anything that will incriminate her!
They want us to eternally suspect her and she everytime cleverly deflects the charge that comes in her way!
This cat & mouse game is going on for long time & called here as a 'thriller'
