All said and done, I wont term her as a doormat yet. She is not. if she continues this way giving RED and GOLD the opportunity to taunt her , subject her to insults. then yes, may be in future, she can be called a doormat. Not yet.

Sonakshi has done so much for her parents which any other daughter can only dream of. She always cared for everyone. In S1 too, we never saw her getting irritated with Ishwari's stubbornness as she understood her even then. So, Sonakshi always cared. That's her nature.

Jatin will play the cupid this time. I'm sure of it.

I am honestly so pissed at Sona's bahupan that I don't even care what gaaliyan are being said to her.

I'm in the same boat. My understanding of her nature does not mean I like her actions 😆. I just know where she is coming from.
You're forgetting, apart from being righteous, dignified and strong, she too has her flaws...she still is very much in love with DevD, though at an unconscious level with a strong facade around her, with the acceptance of so-called reality of both the families. This love is making her act stupid and foolish...this was the very reason she was a doormat in S1.

Till now, I wont say she is yet a doormat but in the process of becoming one if she continues in this track. I'll wait for some more episodes before saying so.

Jatin-- My favourite sensible character in the show. Cupid doesn't mean you have to egg Sona to move closer to DevD. Not necessarily. But as a best friend he is in a position to pose some qs which will make her realize her true emotions...the unconscious one. Tht way he is gonna be cupid. Not like Elina and Asha...nah...Jatin is class and style personified. 😎

Look, I love her with her flaws and weaknesses. I am just calling out on those flaws. Cuz i think Cvs are showing anything in the guise of flawed character. Chalo, agar flawed hai bhi toh silly toh mat banao. Kya dhoondh rahi thi woh Ish ke drawer me??

Reading your post I started to imagine Jatin having the villan-giri-twitching-of-facial-muscles 😆 doesnt suit him and going by history they will not turn Jatin -ve... that would be too much of Kekta Maiya!

however I had hoped they would show Dev becoming friends with Jatin. Dev Dixit needs some other sensible people in his life... why does a man so successful like him have no one around him as his friend... ?? he needs some people in his life who wont roam around like zombie or be a astin ka saap. Usually big businessmen have business friends..confined to official helps..like we saw the police inspector who helped him during ayaan track..
they usually will have childhood friends as actual friends..which we know dev dint have except for that one guy - Bunty..with whom dev was not very close..
So, yes..ppleeease!! need Dev- Jatin friendship please!!..😭

^^ Hi-five guys! Even I want Dev and Jatin to become friends. That would be so wonderful for the story! You guys are giving me an idea on writing an OS on JaDev.
