Options :-

1). His was really searching the keys..

2) He wanted to avenge Maya by going Beyhadh thinking to give her the taste of her own medicine i.e he did intend to physically / sexually assault / attempt to rape to teach her to teach her a lesson.

3). Maya intended to incite him by keeping the keys in her blouse and tying Arjun with a rope i.e. Maya called / planned the attack upon herself..

4). Maya did not call upon / expected / plan the attack, she was just preventing keys and Ayaan attacked her.

5). No one intended / planned the rape attempt but then Maya took the advantage of the situation and accused Ayaan of rape attempt..

6). Ayaan did not intend to rape but she felt like it was a rape attempt due to tearing off clothes...

7). Ayaan was innocent that day..
