Sonakshi and Dev

Their conversation abt their marriage, talks a lot about their approach in life ..and what gave them the strength to move on in those seven years. They definitely relied on each others memory but in a different way.

Dev's strength is the good time he spent with Sonakshi. He started believing in love. He wanted to have that relaxed life . Not live with a balance sheet approach. He started living for himself.

And

Sonakshi's strength is the bad time she spent with Dev. She is not able to see those nice moments . What reflects abt their relationship is only pain and agony. Her life has become like a balance sheet. She just lives for others.She lost her belief in love.

He says atleast we have one day where in every one was happy including family members. Because the poor fellow didnt know the drama that happened behind him on that day .His family had problems with 1) Sonakshi not wearing the dress given by his mom 2) Not putting Mehandhi on her hand 3) Non veg being served. and few things in front of him which he didnt stand up for her 4) abt the fish as shagun 5) Ishwari fainting and then 6) Ishwari's dialogues abt its her Zidh that they got married.

All the beautiful moments that she shared with him ..were with in the privacy of their bedroom ..never in front of others ...never did he stand by her...so those lovely moment dont seem to matter anymore for her...

But for him , those moments matter a lot. Unlike Dev version 1 he has learnt to let go the bad images and survive with the ones give him happiness.

Sonakshi still has not accepted Dev completely as Soha's father..hence the dialogue "aur meri beti mere liye sab kuch hai ". She is not able to trust him so much..but for Dev from the begin he wanted a lil Sonakshi from her... accepting Sonakshi as his child's mom was so easy ...hence the dialogue "hameri beti hamere liye sab kuch hai". All she does is look at him and smile . She didnt say yes or no because she is still in dilemma. She accepted him into their small world ONLY for Soha.

Then again at his house when he offers her water , she was surprised that he remembered her habit of drinking cold water...and he says he remembers a lot more things abt her..

Sonakshi in these 7 yrs hardened like anything . Sometimes her masks collapse..but I am wondering what will be that one thing that will make her mask collapse completely in front of Dev and pour her heart out. Somehow this time I want her to do a heart to heart talk ONLY then our Deb Babu will understand.

Let us see how CVs take this story forward in a matured and less melodramatic way !!

I liked their conversation yesterday... it was very meaningful and you ve put it out so precisely...thats exactly their strengths. I feel for Sonakshi...how she was and now how she has become...it's really sad. She couldn't stop talking about love even before she fell in love and now love is just a word for her. I am looking forward to their journey. Dev said she taught him the meaning of love and now it's his turn to go in the driver's seat and navigate this journey and make her believe back in love. We have to wait and watch how dynamics are now wrt he with his mother , sona and soha. Btw, these days I am hooked to a song 'Maana ke hum yaar nah, yeh tay hain ke pyaar nahi. Phir bhi nazrain naa tum milana, dil ka aitbaar nahi'...it suits aptly for dev-sonakshi right now, I feel.

I don't think Sona is Dev from S1. He hadn't experienced love/break ups when he met Sona from S1. He lived for his family and worked 24/7! Dev from S1 always had open doors of respect and admiration for Sona!.

Sona from S2 carries similar traits as Dev when it comes to living and working hard to support family! She however carries additional baggage of pain from the two break ups. It will be very tough for her to open doors to person who hurt her at several levels. I am curious to know her state of mind during her pregnancy.. she could have been in severe depression (common if there is a personal trauma going on).. 😭

I don't know dev will ever understands sons.. if she unmask and pour her heart out. In shimla, She was saying about her feelings being infertile and uncomfortable about esh's interference. But this fallow never reciprocated her feelings.
