That night Geet couldn't sleep for her thoughts still linger in MSK's past and she instantly connects with his emotions for hating women for she too had the same experience with men and that made her think men are arrogant emotionless fools. But after coming here and meeting people from different walks of life and alos from dadi's help Get has now come to the conclusion that neither all men are evil nor all women are good. It all depends on individual life experiences and one has to go thru all this to get a better understanding of life. After so much thought and some philosophical realisations Geet wants to show Maan that not all the women are bad as he assumes and there are many poor innocent souls around if he is willing to see the truth. The sole reason behind this noble thought is just her mission to change his percepton about her.

Maybe as dadi says Maan could be the person to help her in the case and she could also use that opportunity to break his myth about women as a whole.

Next day Geet gets a call from Maan...

He wants to meet her at his office...

Geet is surprised but dadi has persuaded Maan to atleast hear her case...she also challenged him that it would be a test for his professional efficeinecy for he has been neglecting the challenges in his field siting some absurd notion of his own.

Maan's ego is hurt and he accepts to look into her case but he wouldn't commit anything unless he is satisfied that it's something that needs his prodigy to serve justice in her case.

Having known Geet for a while Maan doesn't have the remotest idea what she had gone thru in her past. All he knows about her is that she is a small town girl with little exposure to the urban life and a stupid brain that wouldn't support her understanding of the new life around her.

Geet is very happy that Maan is easily convinced to apeear for her case and she doesn't want to be late for the meeting.

She knew how much he valued his timings and what a timing it was when he came to her rescue.

When she reached his office Maan has already started his work...

Adi: good morning Geet

Adi couldn't understand why she is here again after all their warnings...

Geet: morning Adi sir, where's you lawyer sir?

Adi: Geeet, Maan sir is in his meeting

Adi is little nervous as he wished Geet left before meeting Maan...there is already enough tension at the office and he doesn't want Geet to get hurt unneccesarily.

Geet: no problem Adi sir, I'll go meet dadi

Geet thought she could first see Dadi which would boost up her confidence...

Strangely Geet feels like she lacks a bit of confidence to face the MSK for she has always misjudged him.

Geet: good morning dadi

Dadi is very happy to welcome Geet...: morning Geet, so did you meet Maan?

Geet: no Dadi

Dadi is disappointed...: but Geet, you should be at his office now

Dadi knows that nothing upsets Maan like beibg kept waiting wasting his time...

Geet: but dadi he is busy now

Dadi: OK Geet, I'm happy you came

Geet: I hope Channi gets justice soon and there is no more life's lost

Dadi: sure beta, I'm so proud that you decided to fight her case

Geet: you know dadi, this could have happened to any girl, even me

Geet is terrified thinking about the past...

Dadi: I know beta, but babaji has some more important jobs for you

Geet: I just wish every one has equal rights to live their life to the fullest

Dadi: you are right beta and I'm with you always

Geet: thanks dadi, my hopes revived only after meeting you

Geet goes and hugs Dadi...

Dadi: any thing for you Geet

Geet has another doubt...and she wants to clear it too...

Geet: dadi, how much does he charge?

Dadi laughs...: how much do you think he would charge?

Geet: I think he won't mind his fees, he already has so much, haina?

Geet is astonished seeing the riches of KM...

Dadi keeps laughing...

Geet: maybe I'm wrong as always

Dadi: no no Geet, you are absolutely right, and this time he is doing this favor for his dadi and you need not worry much

Geet: but he need not do anything for free, I'll pay as much as I can

Dadi: OK as you wish

Geet: I think I must go now, he muat have finished his meeting

Geet goes back...

Adi is still tensed and Manisha is also there now...

Manisha has come out of the meeting just now...

Adi looks at Manisha and they exchange glances seeing Geet...poor girl...no one can save her it seems...

Geet: Halo Manisha sir

Manisha: ohh hai Geet, what are you doing here?

Geet: I have an appointment with your boss

Manisha is shocked...what?

Maan never gives appointments to girls...

Adi interferes: ohh it's official Manisha, it looks like Dadi has fixed this appointment last evening

Now Manisha is clear...dadi is always the boss as far as the Khurana pariwaar is concerned...

Manisha: ok then, all the best Geet

Geet: for what?

Manisha: for your case

Geet: I know I'll easily win with all your help

Manisha is not sure what would happen...still...: haan haan why not?

Then the meeting ends but Maan is still busy with some paperwork...

Geet becomes restless...she is angry that she is deliberately being kept to wait...

Geet: Adi sir, what's your boss thinking? Even the God's easily meet the devotees, may be he thinks he is bigger than the Gods

Just them Maan comes out and he is totally not aware that he had some appointment with this Geet...

And he is already in very bad mood...

He turns to Adi and glares...

Adi runs after him with some files and manisha follows...

Maan just ignores Geet and walks out...

Geet is angry and she can't keep quiet...she has been waiting patiently from the morning and you can't ignore her like that...

She runs after Maan and tries to block his way but Maan keeps marching forward as if she is invisible to him...

Geet: rukho stop

Maan doesn't bother at all...

Geet stops suddenly and Maan almost collides...

Maan: what's your problem?

Geet: good that you asked atlast, but I can't tell you like this, I've an appointment you know

Maan stares...appointment?

Maan then remembers what dadi said...

Maan: ok go ahead

Geet is shocked...how would she tell her story if he keeps running like this...she doesn't like it at all...

She stares him back...

Maan: I don't have the whole day for you

Geet: I don't have to tell you then

Maan: Ok fine, get out of my way

Get steps aside but couldn't quit easily...she roars...

Geet: one should learn how to behave only from you Mr.Khurana

Maan turns and looks back at her in anger...

Maan: Ok fine, let me show you then

Maan comes and holds her arm and takes her with him forcefully...

Geet: leave me

Geet keeps shouting as Manisha and Adi decide that it's better to leave them alone

Maan drags her to the car and makes her sit in as he did the other day...

Geet is not scared of him this time as she has come to know him more now ...

But she is angry for his arrogance has only been growing bigger abd bigger...

Geet: now where are you going to take me?

She asks him with so much confidence and there is no sign of any stupid doubts...

Maan: hmm that' better, I like it

Maan likes her confidence though...

Geet: I bet this time I'm not wrong

Maan: so you mean to say I'm wrong

Geet: good that you are ready to accept the truth

Maan: it's not that whatever you believe is the truth

Geet: and as you believe you are not always right, samjhe app

She tries to threaten him to accept her point...

Maan: I'm not in a mood to argue now, and I've already wasted so much time b'coz of your stupidity, now brief your case fast, I'm already late for a hearing

Geet: but how on earth do you think I can brief it now?

Maan: Ok then, if you are not interested you can leave

Maan stops the car and unlocks the doors...

Geet doesn't want to trouble Dadi again and again and she gets ready to use this chance itself...

Maan keeps waiting for her to get down...

Geet turns back and stares him while she locks the door...

Maan starts the car and gets ready to listen...

Maan: so what's it all about? I know you always get into trouble b'coz of your stupidity, what did you do then?

Maan has always taken her for granted...

Geet is angry that he doesn't tal her seriously...

Geet: I also don't think that you are good enough to take up my case

Maan: oh I'm too good for your fantasies, come on, spill it

Geet: it's about my friend channi, she loved someone and

Maan: and he cheated her, I knew it

Geet stops and she goes silent

Maan is puzzled and he turns and looks at her...

Maan: what's wrong? Go ahead

Geet: why ask me if you know everything?

Maan then stops interfering...

Geet continues...

Geet: she lost her life for that, you know it's brutal murder

Maan is really shocked, he never expected such a story behind her...

He then stops the car for a moment and feels really sorry for her...

Maan: are you serious?

Maan turns towards her and her eyes answer give him the answers already...

She is so engrossed in her story that she could feel the fear even now...

Maan looks int her eyes...

Maan: Geet, Geeet

Geet comes back to reality...

Maan suddenly holds her hand firmly as if to assure that she is not alone now...

Geet feels relieved at that...

Maan now knows that she is very serious and she has a genuine case to fight...

Maan believes her...her eyes tell him that she can never lie...

But his lawyer mind is always skeptical...looking for more proof...

Maan: how can you be so sure that she was murdered?

Geet: b'coz I'm the eye witness

Tears roll down Geet's cheeks...

Maan: what?

Maan wipes those tears with his rumal...

Geet feels that she is in the right hands atlast...

Geet feels more comfortable now and finds out that this sadu Khorana is after all a Khorana with a good heart just like the other Khuranas specially Dadi...

She is little relieved but still is not sure whether Maan would be interested in taking up the unusual case...atleast he is willing to hear her as of now and she has to use this chance and convince him somehow...

They have now reached the court and Maan parks his car and Adi rushes with the files...

Maan asks him to wait for him in the court while Maan sees off Geet and comes...

Adi leaves and Maan waits for Geet so that he could lock the car and go...

Geet gets off and as soon as Maan hears the door closing he locks the car as he moves towards the court...

Geet goes after him to thank Maan for his time...she wants to know when she can go and meet him again to talk about the case...

Maan pauses and turns back to look at Geet...she is right behind him and they almost collide...

Geet steps back and Maan keeps looking at her...

Geet doesn't know what to say...

Geet: thanks

Maan: for what?

Geet: for accepting my case

Maan: what?

Maan is still undecided...

Geet is pretty disappointed...

Maan is not so happy to see her upset...

Geet: so you don't want to take up the case?

Maan: I never said anything

Geet: ok then I'll come to your office tomorrow to talk about the case

Maan nods his head and Get si so happy, she has a bog smile on her face as if she has won the case...Maan is surprised to see her faith in him...

Geet thanks him again and turns back to leave...as she starts leaving...

Maan: Geeet

Geet stops and looks back...

Maan: you can tell about your case details to Adi

Geet comes back...

Maan: now what?

Geet: Adi sir is here only na?

Maan: but we have a case going on

Geet: I'll wait and see him

Maan: ok then, as you wish

Maan leaves and Geet looks around for a place to wait...

She then decides to go and see the case proceedings instead...

She also needs these practical lessons for her future haina?

As we know it was a divorce case and Maan is appearing for the man who has asked for divorce while his wife is not ready for it...

Geet goes and sits in the last row so that Maan can't see her...she knows that he would get angry if he knew that she is here judjing his abilities as a lawyer...but she has to be convinced that he is capable of winning her case haina? After all she needs justice at any cost and is not ready to risk it with a divorce lawyer, haina babaji?

As the case proceeds Geet gets curious and keenly observes the way everything progresses inside the court...

She then looks at Maan's client who looks like a middle-aged man while the woman on the other side looked very very young, she looks scared and helpless...Geet thinks that it's some case of mismatched wedding where tha groom is much older than the poor bride and from the look itself she can find out that the man is rich enough to buy a bride for himself even at this age...

That girl looks not so rich and what Geet couldn't understand is why she doesn't want this divorce?

From her statements Geet realizes that she is very determined not to end her marriage and wants to live with her husband only...

Maybe it's a matter of dowry and her poor parents may not be able to fulfill her rich husband's demands...Geet feels pity for that girl...

But Maan seems to be least cared about that poor soul's emotions and he tries to prove her to be a greedy wife trying to loot her husband off his wealth and her only purpose of the marriage is his wealth...

But Geet thinks that the girl is pretty innocent and weak and she looks hopeless...still she is here to fight for her rights which is surprising...

The judge adjourns the court for a break and Geet goes and meets Adi in the chamber...

Maan is inside his cabin while Geet and Adi argue outside...

She wants to know more about that girl...but Adi is scared to share the details as Maan doesn't like to talk about the cases to outsiders...

Geet : pls Adi sir, you can tell me

Adi: no Geet, I can't

Geet: if you won't then I'll ask your Maan sir itself

Maan could hear their loud noise and gets irritated...he comes out to warn them and just hears his name...

Maan: Adiii

Geet is scared seeing his anger and she gets out of that place...

Adi runs to him...: yes sir

Maan: what's going on?

Adi: sir Geet wants to talk about the case

Maan thinks that it's her case...so she wants to talk to him only...

Maan is little happy...if that would make her happy then why not?

Maan: ask her to come in

Adi tells Geet that Maan has called her to his cabin...

Geet is still scared as she thinks that Maan might have called to scold her...

Geet: may I come in?

Maan: come in

Geet enters and watches him busy in his work...she waits silently...

Maan: tale your seat

Maan says as he is still looking into his lap top...

Geet sits and keeps watching him...

Maan continues as he is still looking into his file...

Maan: so what's your problem? You would only talk to me?

Geet: aaise nahi, Adi sir ne mana kiya tha

Maan: what?

Geet: so what's this case about?

Maan: Geeet

Geet stands up getting ready to run for safety if necessary...

Maan: I think I'm the lawyer here

Geet: yes sir, that's why I'm asking you

Maan: Geeet

Geet: if you don't want to tell me then why did you call me?

Maan: what? how on earth would I know about your case? You are realy crazy

Geet: now I know who is crazy

Maan: what?

Geet: I was talking about the current case, you don't understand anything

Maan: I don't understand anything?

Maan looks into her eyes and stares...

Geet: see, you always scare people with your anger, then how would you understand them?

Good point Geeet...

Maan: now what do you want?

Geet: I think you are wrong

Maan: Maan Singh Khorana is always right

Geet: see, again you are wrong, no one is perfect, all of us are humans and I believe you are too

Maan: that's a great discovery Geet

Geet: why are you against that poor girl

Geet: I know it's your profession and you do it for money

Maan gets angry for real now...

Maan: Geeet, stop your nonsense

Geet: I know, you hate her as she is a woman, haina? but you forgot that men are not always good and women are not always bad as you think

Actually this case is different from the others for it's the case of Mr.Shrama who is a family friend of the Khuranas...

Maan couldn't believe it...

Maan shows her the proof...

That girl has not married that old man Mr.Sharma but his son...it is a love marriage...

Mr.Sharma sr. didn't object to it but happily got them married as he wanted his son to be happy but that girl's intention was just his money and nothing more...

She turned out to be another Naintara ndd that story immediately caught Maan's attention and he took up this case and has vowed to get Mr.Sharma his lost son and his happiness...that boy has lost his mind and he is under medical aid and counselling...

Geet then realizes her mistake and feels pity for that boy whose wheel chaired pics she saw on Maan's mobile...

This is really a horrible story...i

Then they go back to the court and the arguments continue...

Between the arguments that girl breaks down at one point and she faints...

Then Geet comes to know that she is pregnant and that she is fighting for her unborn child...

Maan argues that she is trying to emotionally blackmail the court...

But Geet thinks otherwise...

After the case is adjourned for the day Geet is very upset and she leaves without even meeting Maan...

She tries to contact that girl but she loses her in the crowd...she leaves chasing her and is disappointed that she couldn't meet her...she then returns home sad...

Maan is angry for she didn't even have the courtesy to come and tell him before she left...

Geet keeps thinking about that girl and she can't sleep peacefully until she knows about her truth...she decides that Maan could help her as he might have some information about her...

Atleast he might have her address...
