Filmfare because they awarded to Aamir for Dangal which was very much deserved. Also awarded Alia for UP which was a better performance than Aish's Sarajit.

I think Dangal got best film too? Or no?

FF clearly... It seems so credible now

Screen were fine but ceremony happened before Dangal released... Not satisfying in that retrospect

BOIFA was nice too

National awards.

I still trust the process though some awards are W*F especially this year. But when I look at the process over the years, regional awards that won are classics and actors iconic. Even the musicians.

The awards are not given for body of work IMO. Illayaraja sir won for best music direction last year. It was for his 1000th film. You can say he won it because they wanted to commemorate it but when you see the film Tharai Thapattai, a man who composes western music so well he has London Orchestras play it still never forgot his roots or the folk music of Tamil Nadu even after 1000 movies. So yeah, I still trust the NA above all.

ETA: BOIFA next. Despite fan wars and general wars people are movie lovers and I can be sure they will not pull a Priyadarshan. 😆
