Zee cuts out scenes

I watch the episodes on TV with my family & online alone. I've realised since the 1st epi that they cut out scenes & edit out dialogues from scenes for international viewers. why do they do that?

Oh, Is it so!! Now recently what did they cut out and how are they managing the episode to be 20 minutes even after cutting out!!

They've always done this. All the channels do, but Zee the worst offender.

They want the ad space so the episodes are cut about a minute or so.

unless all the paying customers for its channels abroad take a stand and demand for full content without trimming, they will keep doing it.

PS, sometimes questionable, violent scenes are cut due to broadcasting rules. I am not taking about that, but the cutting of content for no reason other than to make episode shorter.

I had no idea that its common. Thanks for letting me know! I have not watched a ITV show on TV in years so I had no idea. I can still understand cutting out violent bits but in this show they cut out random dialogues & bits that cause the flow to be interrupted. Also bits that are cut out sometimes affect perspectives, esp in this show a lot of times Rhea's POV has been cut out so she appears much more selfish in the broadcast version. It gives out a very different idea as compared to what was intended by the makers. I wish they would stop doing this.
