Ishita was laying on her bed and was remembering her moments with Ram and then their parent's talking about her moving ahead forgetting Raman.
She turned to another side and said-nahi amma appa, u all r getting it wrong. I can never forget Raman and nor can give his place to anyone else. Meri zindagi mein sirf Raman ki jagah hai, aur kisi ki nahi. I am his wife, unki jagah koi nahi le sakta. I will work with Ram but will keep distance from him. Ram can be a part of my life but raman is a part of me. Meri wajood ka hissa hai woh. Koi unki jagah nahi le sakta. Koi bhi nahi. Thinking so she closed her eyes and slept.
On the other hand, raman reached home only to see toshiji was already slept. Help served him food which he has halfheartedly and went to sleep.
Next day, ishita get ready and was about to go when Raman came to pick her. Ishita was reluctant to go with him but her parent forced her to go. She went with raman.
Raman dropped her college and went to look for office. He got a office on rent and arranged everything to give a genuine look.
After college, raman took ishita to the office and gave her few files to complete. While he was busy in admiring her. He was trying to talk to her but she was talking to him only when it's needed.
Raman could feel change in her behaviour but shrugged it thinking may be he is over thinking.
Days start passing, Ishra meet everyday but ishita always stick to her job. Slowly Raman start feeling suffocated with her behavior. On the other side, toshiji was also fully indulge in her work forgetting Raman at all. He too stop talking to anyone.he just pick ishita to college and then drop her home at eight.
One day he didn't came to pick ishita. Amma appa got worried thinking where he went. Ishita too got worried about him. She don't want to bother about him but his absence was bothering her so much.
She went college alone .she sat in her class and tried hard to stop thinking about him. But can't, at last she went to check him in the office leaving her class.
She entered the office and saw him sleeping in the chair keeping his head on the table .she went near and touched him, only to realise that he has high fever.
She hold his head and shaked him-ram, aap thik hai naa.
Raman slowly open his eyes and said-why u r here, just get lost. I don't want u, I don't want anyone. Sab chale jao, leave me alone. He said meekly while tear flow from his eyes.
Don't know why but ishita too felt like crying seeing his so broken.
Ishita-kya hua Ram. Kuch problem hai kya.
Raman-problem, sirf problem hi toh hai meri zindagi mein. And the top most problem is that, that I don't have anyone in my life. Koi mujhse pyaar nahi karti, kisi ko meri fikr nahi hai, maa is busy in business and u too don't talk to me. Koi nahi hai mera, I am all alone. Jao tum bhi jao, leave me alone. He was saying hanging in her arms.
Ishita don't know what to say, he was in so much pain because of her. She couldn't stop herself to caress his face. He closed his eyes feeling her touch and soon he fainted in her arms.
Ishita hold him and make him lay comfortable on the bed. Then she called appa and told him about raman. Soon appa came and both took him home.
They make him lay on ishita's bed and then they called doctor. He checked him and said -he got unwell as he is not eating properly these days. Doctor gave him injection and went telling them to take care of him.
Ishita nodded and went to kitchen to make food for him. In these days, she get to know his taste, so made dal makhni, matar pulav and roti for him.
After few hours, raman opened his eyes and look around to recognise the place but wasn't getting where he is when amma came in and asked-now how u r feeling kanna.
Raman -main yahan kaise.
Amma-ishu and vishwa brought u here. How r u feeling now.
Raman -good, bas headache hai.
Amma came with a bowl of lukewarm oil and start massaging his hair. Raman closed his eyes feeling too good. She massage his hair for sometime and then went to bring food for him.
She brought the food and gave him. He looked at her and she said-ishu made it for u. Khao tum.
Raman -where is she.
Amma-she went to take medicine for u. Aati hi hogi. U eat.
Raman start eating when ishita said and give fruits and medicine to amma. She sat beside Raman and asked-how r u now .
Raman -I am good now, thanks for doing so much for me. Agar tum nahi aati toh pata nahi kya hota mera, shayad mar hi jaata, he was saying when ishita closed his mouth and said-shut up, bakwaas bandh kariye.
Raman looked at her while she was looking at him. They shared an eyelock which was broke by ishita.
Ishita- Aap kitne careless hai, khana nahi khate, bimaar pad gaye. Aur upar se bakwaas bhi karte hai, now I have to take care of u. I will bring food for u daily and will make u eat, tab hi Aap thik rahenge. She said scolding him while he was smiling.
Days start passing, now ishra were closer as before. Ishita always take care of raman but always remain in her limits, on the other hand Raman has fallen for her hopelessly planning to propose her but wasn't getting chance.
One day, he was going out when Toshiji stopped him and gave him many pics of girls and said-u have to pick a girl for u. I want u to get settled before joining office.
Raman got startled hearing this and said-no maa, I don't wanna get married now. Please don't force me.
Toshiji-i am not forcing just telling. Don't force me to pressurise u. Select a girl for urself. I want to see u married asap. Saying so she went leaving Raman alone.
The day went in a jiffy, later in night, Raman was laying on the bed and was thinking-its more then two months since I meet situ.in these months I tried my level best to express my feelings for her but seems god is not with me, that's why I couldn't tell her my feelings. But now maa want me to get settle before I join business, so it's high time, I should confess my feelings for her. Yes Raman, ab tujhe situ ko propose kar dena chahiye, Isse pehle ki maa koi ladki mere liye pasand kare, u should bring situ to her and tell her that, maa dekh teri bahu. He thought to himself and now he is determined to propose ishita at any cost.
