Haters gonna hate ... jealous ppl will be bashing no matter what

An outsiders , The Akshay Kumar who survived in this industry for 25+ years without yrf or any other big banners , never got his due as a Super Star , ppl has always underestimated his stardom ... He never existed for Fimlfare kind of awards ...

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY he has won the most prestigious Indian award ...The National Award 😎

I wanted him to win for Special 26 then for Baby but he finally won for Rustom 👏

I am so happy and so proud of him

I am so proud of his movie selection in last few years . He is balancing between masala and good script movies . He is not running after box office openings and records and it makes him The Akshay Kumar 😎

He was not the most deserving this year but am happy he finally won a award and that's too NA.
I want all khans to win this awards as well because they all gave so many memorable performance in their career and still not a single award. They all deserved this award. They are the real superstars of Bollywood.

I think likes of Salman Khan Akshay and Ajay Devgun - the non actors should just be given and award anyway for their 50 years of contribution to cinema

There is no need to go after him...

Hippo is happy when such people are recognized. They have given their 50 years to cinema and if they got one award we start discussing its worth. At this time worth does not matter. What matters is their contribution.

I would take this award as appreciation for his work, he certainly deserved recognition. Would have loved more if it was for airlift instead but nevertheless congrats akki! Proud of you !
