JNDSD~My take~ Thursday 6.4.17~ Found in the nick of time..
They are the newly married couple taking time out to be together in each others company. It's like they consolidate and celebrate each other in reaching the recognized union professed by faith and social structures. The message for Atharv and Vividha in the visitation of the tiger is symbolically concealed and not easily perceived them. Ignorance makes them fearful of the carnivorous cat. As humans are rather like an open book which contains many a words, some grasped by them ,but thousands that are unperceived. They find they know much ,yet there are boundaries and limitations that are out of bounds for them. For only the deities can boast of divine wisdom. It's not some romantic misadventure that unfolds without a purpose before Atharv and Vividha .
These two have been chosen by the maternal revered Maata rani.For This couple at last joined in the purity of wedlock according to the faith rites and ritual is almost chased by the tiger, pushed into a scenario for a reason. The ablution room... with the tiger hot on their tracks seals them in this particular room. The tiger cuts them from escaping from where its put them. The window is stuck on purpose, for it'll give them access to the rest of the world! The intention is to show them the change that has occurred in their individual lives. Its no joke that Vividha fears losing her son ,mother and MIL.. The maternal goddess speaks through the husband when he reminds his wife that she needn't fear as he is here right behind her! Both still fail to recognize what else they are meant to do? to escape from the wrath of the fearful tiger. Finally their closed minds are opened and they find the escape route. The round tub of water! Vividha steps in first and Atharv follows as he curls behind her! Thus she becomes half of his body! The round tub symbolizes the full circle of their love completed in the sacred bond of matrimony. Their complete immersion in water shows ablution, cleansing , purification in body ,mind and soul!Their love a pleasing offering to the gods! The tiger comes sees them both in the process of purification and leaves them!For Atharv and Vividha performed the spiritual action of washing away blemishes before coming together in worship to the revered Maati rani!
Still humans need signs and miracles to understand the sentiments of deities. Now that they are cleansed they are granted escape .Maata rani's, carrier the tiger paws marks its exit, leaving behind a memento on chain. Vividha feels spiritually encouraged as it interprets coming across the locket as a blessing from the invincible goddess Durga maa. Can it be concluded that she might have some residue guilt over leaving Ravish. With the memento chain in her plam with Maata Rani's , image Vividha has no doubts now that the goddess blesses their marriage.
It is generally felt that women treat matters of faith with more reverence and faith than men. Same happens to be the case between Vividha and Atharv. Throughout their journey back Atharv jests and pulls Vividha's leg just like past times. Thus Maata rani's carrier, her tiger becomes a source of matters common interest also to spark Vividha and Atharv.. More or less the way they were. Humor and comic timing was a bond they shared. For four long years. Atharv was at a loss to experiences such care free full of mirth turns.
Returning home for Vividha was special and novel..doing it with full rituals the right person was welcomed, the DIL of this house . She had to tip the kalash at doorstep before she entered this house..once more as a wedded wife.. This time the wife of the man she always loved. One more time the discussion of the tiger at their honey moon resort becames a hot topic of fun by Atharv as he teases Vividha. All can see the love pouring out of both Vividha and Atharv. They are so happy and very much in love pair of newly married. However their side effect Madhav being the child was only interested in knowing what present they got him from their trip. Vividha gifts the Maati rani locket to Madhav and puts it around his neck ,from protection against harm.
Private moments, informal moments, silly flirting moments. Atharv stops at nothing in the privacy of his room with his wife. Its really about getting , close and personal .. wooing his Vividha. He is the man who lost a chunk of his ability to retain impressions of events, people. More than anything else he goes by that face that kept popping up in his darkest dreams.. the girl he loved ,the name vividha! It was crucial for him to catch those recollections.Even Vividha was anxious how long it would take Atharv to remember ,her and what they shared.. for its Atharv's reminiscences that they will use to build upon in the present and future. Vividha finds out in his words and actions his appetite to act in the manner like he used to; chatty, humorous and quick witted.But since they got married he's throwing himself at her.. Vividha blushes every time Atharv gets more intimately nearer and nearer!
Respite for wife Vividha, little boy blue comes looking for his maa.. finds the absentminded grouch in his mums room .. his mum and his room! Atharv too is Madhav's dad and he finally tricks his son into leaving him and his pretty wife alone! Atharv moans at the resort the tiger kept them from coming together and here Madhav is on his case!
Overall a lovely episode that gives insight into how Atharv felt lost in oblivion, where by he failed to recollect his love that he shared with Vividha.. a great showing of flash backs. Shivani and VCS carried on tongue in cheek expressions very well.. their scene in their room had great dialogues precap .. while worship takes place the sick women cries loud enough to disturb the calm.. hamlet53 7.4.17
