The Ayaan-Maya scene in the precap was pretty shocking...

I don't believe Ayaan would have tried to rape her, but I think he will be accused of it by Maya and we will probably see a case where Saanjh will try to defend him. But even if Ayaan was not going to rape her WHAT was he trying to do to her exactly? Hit her? 😕 Whatever he was trying to do it looked SO WRONG. He has no right to go and do anything physically violent to her however much he hates her. ...I hope they don't try to justify his behavior and say that he is "innocent because he din't try to rape her but just tried to trash her around 😕🤢

But there is also the possibility that the scene we saw was what Maya described as that what happened and that's not what actually happened between them. The whole thing could be Maya's fabrication as well. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out.

A couple of things that I found interesting:

1. They highlighted the fact that Ayan was drunk. So it's possible that he will not remember what actually transpired between them, giving Maya the opportunity to fabricate her own story.

2. Samay was shown leaving behind Ayaan after he tells himself that he will not let anyone else touch Maya. We din't see him after that today. So my guess is that this scene was shown for a reason and Samay will have some role to play in the whole fiasco. So what will his role be? Will he vouch for Ayaan and expose Maya? Will he side with Maya and prove his loyalty to her?

another possibility that I thought of is what if Samay actually rapes Maya?? Maybe Ayaan was too drunk to remember what happens and he leaves the place, Maya passes out after hitting her head when she falls and when she wakes up she realizes that she was raped and thinks its Ayaan. Obviously no one believes her because of what Arjun has told them about how he gets blamed for all the self harm that she inflicts and they'll just think she is faking it. Samay could have reached there after Ayaan left and Maya passed out and maybe out of lust or for revenge he rapes her.

Maya believes it was Ayaan as that's who she saw last. The medical test might prove that she was raped and that will strengthen the case against Ayaan. Arjun and co. will hate Maya more for putting Ayaan in jail. No one will suspect Samay since no one knows about his connection to Maya.

Maybe that's why his character was brought in. If the next track is a courtroom drama to save Ayaan, then I can't think of what Samay will play in that.

3. I guess the stress on Arjun telling Ayaan, Saanjh and co how he got the blame for Maya's own deeds was done for the reason that no one will believe Maya now if she says she was attacked.

4. Which side will Arjun be on if rape is proven? I guess still Ayaan's.

5. Will this be the thing that maya uses to trap Arjun to her? You stay with me or I will tell the police that Ayaan tried to rape me?

Wondering how this whole thing will play out.

PS: Jen was brilliant in the scene with Jhanvi today 👏. She is SOOO good at showing the switch between the crazy Maya and the vulnerable Maya. Bravo girl!! ⭐️

i am shocked cnt believe this. cnt wait to watch the episode bt Ayaan was 1 of my fav characters the cvs and maya should not have messed with him

Ayaan will be framed for sure on charges of molestation or attempt to rape. Him consuming alcohol, leaving the house in anger and repeatedly threatening to harm Maya will put Saanjh and Vandy in doubt too.. Also Arjun is drugged and unconscious, Jhanvi is locked out.. so Maya seems to have set the stage to trap Ayaan.. She's the only eyewitness.. torn clothes and her own testimony is enough to file a case against Ayaan.. Precaps can be misleading.. That scene may well be Maya's version of the story that she narrates to the police.. where in reality Ayaan may have just verbally abused her.. she is very much capable to ripping her own clothes and framing Ayaan.. Now Samay.. I want to believe that he's here to help Maya .. After reading some of the posts in your yesterday's topic.. I think I wana see Samay from that perspective because it made a lot of sense.. Samay may be the one to help Maya come out of the delusional world she lives in ( remember him telling Saanjh- Samay sirf sach dikhata hai)..and all he said Maya THAT is true..if only she could value herself more, love herself more ..have more self belief, she is quite a force in herself so stop looking for love and support from others.. he may find a way to make her face her inner demons, and come out a winner at the end of all of this.. when everyone is hating on her.. he seems to be the only one who genuinely cares.. I liked how he said I will not let anyone touch Maya though I think he had understood Maya's drama..in that scenario, I can't imagine him raping Maya.. he may choose to not be a witness in the case in the pretext of reaching the crime scene late, even though he may have actually seen how Maya staged the whole rape scene.. that way he can win Maya's trust, be close to her and help her.. It'l be nice to see someone genuinely love and care for Maya when everyone else treats her like a diseased outcast who must die, a daayan who should be stoned to death..

P.S- Any idea what questions Maya could be seeking answers for? I could feel for her in that scene.. what a pathetic life

Of all the situations you described the second one is very dark and disturbing, I hope that does not happen. I am too sensitive and will stop watching if it happens.

Of course there is a very high possibility that Maya has fabricated the whole thing and nothing of that sort even happened. Maybe like you said Ayaan just verbally abused her and left and then she staged the whole drama to accuse Ayaan. Most probably this is what will happen. But then what about the CCTV cameras? If Ayaan does not even touch her won't that be captured in the CCtv footage?? Maybe she will erase the footage?

Also for a rape case to be accepted in court there has to be medical proof that the woman was sexually assaulted. How can Maya fabricate that? She can set the scene but not fake sexual assault. You can accuse someone of rape but can't really prove anything in court unless there is strong medically backed proof that a rape occurred. Sadly, that's why a lot of women don't get justice since they are not able to do a medical test on time and hence don't have the necessary proof to prove rape. Even in GG Amy was shown to save s*x with Desi before killing him and accusing him of rape, and hence having the proof that she was assaulted. Maybe they won't go into that much detail and will just show that she accuses him and then blackmails Arjun to stay with her or else she will make this public and ruin Ayaan's life.

As far as Samay is concerned I would like him to be the person who actually tries to help Maya in a positive way.. There is literally no one left in the show who genuinely cares about her . I hope like you said that he forces her to face her inner demons because someone needs to do that and right now Samay seems to be the only one who cares about her. But the way they make him look like someone who is obsessed with her it does'nt make him look like a very stable, sane person himself. We'll have to wait for more insight into him.

Also, if Samay does side with Maya and lets her accuse Ayaan of rape in spite of knowing the truth then what kind of person does that make Samay? What kind of a person lets an innocent man be accused of such a henius crime?

I agree that we need a character who is going to once and for all stand up to Maya, play the game like her and get her out of this delusional world that she lives in. Someone who can show her the truth and help her get the treatment she needs, make her believe in herself and love herself. Wonder who will play that role??

I found Maya's dialogue to Jhanvi interesting too. I think the questions she is referring to is why her life is the way it is? Why no one can truly loves her? Why Jhanvi never stood up for her in front of Ashwin?? Why everyone she loves leaves her?? All the questions she was asking God during season 1.

Ayaan is wrong n I m sure it cant be justified n better it wont be..

Also hope he does nothing wrong to Maya bcoz she doesnt deserve it. I dont want even Samay to do such horrible act. Hope to see him come on the right time n save Maya from Ayaan.

Also I dont want it to be Maya's fabrication as it ll be the evilest thing she can do to someone.. I wont mind if Ayaan truly behaves like this coz he is drunk bcoz he being evil wouldnt trouble me much

Yes she can't accuse him of rape if she's not actually raped.. that's why I said molestation or attempt to rape, even that part may be cooked up by her.. and Maya being the one to put the cameras knows where to stage the drama in order to avoid being captured..or she could erase it but that can raise suspicion. As far as Samay is concerned , I don't think he's has any moral obligation towards anyone except Maya.. he anyway is kinda cheating on Saanjh so he's not a saint anyway..No one in this show is.. not even Ayaan.. Today he just heard his brother's side of the story and went after Maya, calling her Daayan and all..No one in that family is remotely interested to sort things out for Maya and Arjun as a married couple..maybe because Arjun doesn't want to fix anything anymore..they only want to help Arjun.. Maya may not even go to police and use this incident only to blackmail Arjun to be with her...or she may herself take her complaint back.. at the end of the day Ayaan is not going to go to jail..so Samaya doesn't need to be guilty for anything.. he's here for Maya and his loyalties are only for her or that's what I'd like to believe.. let there be atleast one character in the show who can guide Maya on a path of redemption and recuperation.

what was that in the precap...who gave ayan the permission to hit a women...that was a disgusting act of ayan...he lost my respect right there...yes he loves his brother and wants to help him...but that act in the precap was disgusting...i hope noone justifies his beastly behaviour towards maya...he needs to get punishment for violence against a women...furthermore the matter is b/w a husband-wife...he has no rights to interfere...arjun did stop him saying he will handle the matter as he knows how maya is capable of...why did ayan go behind ArYa...he literally invited trouble for himself

its obvious that ayan intention were good but he took a wrong approach in fit of anger...now he is being frame with molesation or attempt to rape...which is false charges but nothing can erase the fact he became violent with a women...ayan is totally wrong here...i was disappointed by his behaviour...

but on 2nd note...it could be fabricated story by maya too

The Precap can go on two ways.. Either Ayaan did hit Maya or Maya staged the entire thing... Maya staging everything is quite a possible thing as She very well knew that Ayaan is following the ambulance and is in a rage... That might be the reason she locked Jhanvi's door so that Jhanvi can only hear her and not see her.. And with her screaming Ayaan's name, Jhanvi will be assured that Ayaan did something bad to her. Also, Samay going behind Ayaan can be played out as Samay reaching at the end annd finding Maya-Ayaan in a compromising position and Maya will run to Samay for help. In that case, Samay will put the blame on Ayaan and Maya's case will be strong. Also, when Ayaan left after ArYa, Vandana said kahin wo bhool na jaye Maya Arjun ki patni hai and Ayaan did say to Saanjh and Vandana over the phone ki aaj main uska wo haal karunga ki wo aankh utha ke dekh bhi nahi payegi. All this will go against Ayaan.

The other scenario is Ayaan actually hit Maya or even tried to harass her to show her what she did all these years to Arjun was wrong and to what extent can he go to save his brother from her. I am excluding rape or attempted rape here as I cannot come to terms that Ayaan would go to such an extent of actually doing it. Maya will tell this to everyone but no one including Arjun will believe her as in the past she did frame other's. Maybe Samay and Jhanvi will support her.

In both the cases, it seems there will be a courtroom drama. Saanjh will be fighting the case for Ayaan and maybe Samay (assuming he is a lawyer) will fight the case for Maya.

PS- I am in no way defending Ayaan's actions here.

I'm 90% sure that Maya fabricated the whole story because in today's episode Maya told Arjun that he doesn't understand its his hatred that is keeping them together they are sharing a bond be it bond of hatred. If Arjun-Maya are not endgame than this whole scenario and Arjun knowing that Maya trapped his brother in the rape case will be the last nail in the coffin... Arjun might stop feeling anything for her love, hatred, disgust, sympathy nothing...That time Maya will let Arjun go...This story might go Aitraaz way where Sanjh will be Ayan's lawyer...The conclusion of track will be "If men should not do this women shouldn't also do this and that blah blah" Maybe Maya's past get revealed alongside and afterwards Samay and Jhanvi alongwith best psychiatrist might help Maya heal...I'm speculating a lot I know 😆 but that's my POV only..
