Tanuja was screaming helplessly as those barbarians were approaching towards her. Tanuja was trying her level best to stop them but one of them caught her hand and the other was about to touch her when suddenly the goon got a punch from behind. Actually Rishi came from behind and gave him a tight punch which gave him a jerk and the other one holding Tanuja's hands left her and came charging towards Rishi. Tanuja's hand got loose and she fell to the other side of the road but as the wind blew, her dupatta came flying over and it covered Rishi's face . Rishi was sterned for a few moments. Rishi could feel the same essennce from that dupatta as he felt for Tanu and Tanuja previously. He was shocked, his voice got cholked but suddenly one goon came and hit him , the dupatta again flew away. Tanuja fell on the other side of the road , she got some scratches.

With the sudden hitting Rishi shouted in pain, and his painful voice touched Tanuja's ears. She turned around in shock but it was hell dark, suddenly a huge lightning took place and with that streak of twinkling light Tanuja saw Rishi s face and became numb. Rishi could also see her face in the flash of light but before he could see any further the flash dwindled and Pari also came running towards Tanuja and obstructed his vision.

Pari: Aunty! Aunty! Are you ok, she was crying

But Tanuja was not in her senses, she was lost in Rishi's thoughts. Pari gave her a jerk and then she came back to her senses. On the other hand terrific fight was going on between those goons and Rishi. Rishi almost cornered them but suddenly one of them came with a gun pointing towards Rishi. Tanuja saw that and she came running and gave the goon a jolt, the gun fell from his hand.

Pari was shouting from the other side, Tanuja was puzzled and she couldn't deceide what to do. Rishi was quite injured, blood was coming out of his veins but still he was not ready to give up and moreover he wanted to see the face again that he saw in that flash of light. Tanuja ran towards Pari as she was crying vigourusly. Rishi was almost done with those goons and he was approaching towards Tanuja when suddenly a goon came from behind and hit him with an iron rod on his head from behind.
Tanuja shouted: Nahin! Nahin!

Tanuja left Pari and ran towards Rishi who was about to fall on the ground, he was severely bleeding.

Suddenly headlights of some vehicles illuminated the place, the police vans were coming. The goons escaped seeing the police vans. Tanuja reached near Rishi, he was falling but with the light source he could see with his almost dwindling and shaking vision ,the face of Tanuja. Her beautiful face was slowly coming near and nearer to him. He fell but in the nick of time Tanuja caught him. Rishi's head rested on Tanuja's lap, his eyes were still open and he was just staring at Tanuja . Tanuja was crying and Rishi was staring and staring and slowly, very slowly his eyelids were closed just as the curtains which covers the vision when it is pulled from both the sides. Rishi fainted , Tanuja shouted: Rishi! Rishi! Rishi!, get up, get up Rishi! Look at me, Rishi! Look ! Me Tanuja , Rishi, your Tanuja, come on look at me! Get up but Rishi didn't answer anything. He lay still and motionless, drops of blood were flowing from his head which immediately filled the place. The poilce officers were unable to catch those goons but when they proceeded towards the spot , they saw that Rishi was lying in a pool of blood with his head on Tanuja's lap.

The poilce came and offered help. Tanuja was in a shocked state but got her senses back with the shoutings of the officers and Pari. All of them rushed towards the hospital with Rishi. Tanuja took Rishi on her lap and she was caressing his face gently and kissed him on his forehead. Pari was sitting at the front so she was not able to see all these. Tanuja was crying continuously seeing Rishi in such a condition. She saw Rishi after so many days but saw him in this condition. All the flashes of their past moments came to her mind. She remembered her previous birth as Tanu , and how she got married with him, then how she came face to face with Rishi again in this birth as Tanuja, their marriage, honeymoon and Rishi's words that he really cares for her. All came flashing , then she remembered Rishi's confession to her and their close moments. After that suddenly Katyani ji's words came to her mind that if she stays with Rishi then he would be surrounded with life threatning problems. Tanuja came back to senses and told to herself

Kali Ma! Why this thing happened ? Why ma why? I went away from Rishi so that he could be safe but again I landed in trouble you sent Rishi to my rescue and he is in this condition fighting with death. Why you had to send him Ma, why have'nt you send some one else for my help. Again Rishi got hurt because of me. Katyani ji was right, I am responsible for Rishi's condition.

She looked at Rishi's innocent face and kissed him gently. The van reached the hospital.

The police officers rushed for the stretchers and Rishi was being taken away but sill he was holding Tanuja's hand. Tanuja was crying and following Rishi with the stertcher.
