Sonam Kapoor learning to play the tabla for Akshay Kumar-starrer Padman

We hear Sonam Kapoor, who is set to kick start work on R Balki's Akshay Kumar-starrer Padman in Indore, is now learning to play the tabla for the part. The film, which also features Radhika Apte in the role of Akshay's wife, had kicked off with Khiladi Kumar shooting solo in the Madhya Pradesh Capital last month.

While Balki had categorically denied to Mirror that Sonam plays a journalist in the film, this new development has piqued our curiosity even more

I know Akshay does Sikh Kirtan and enjoys singing shabad. I didnt know he played the tabla. I took some lesson when I was younger and gave up after a few months.
