Sonakshi and her talk with her mom

I just watched that scene on sonyliv...loved the scene...and I am amazed at the way Asha controlled her daughter...she didn't answer her daughters question rather concentrated on correcting her daughter...

Sonakshi 's question was on spot...how could Dev question her parents relationship just because her dad didn't behave well with him...because if she wanted she could also questions relationships at his end because none of them behaved well to her...

Now Asha wants her daughter to enjoy her life so she concentrated on what needs to be done to correct her daughters messed up life...want Soha to have both parents with her living happily...she knows Sonakshi still has feels for Dev and the other way around too...She knows Sona might never accept anyone else in her life...but hers and Devs bitter past will never allow them to even talk amicably ...today she saw a sign of giving in from Dev...( I know you all are angry at Dev's behavior towards Bijoy ...but if you compare with Season 1 Dev...he would have literally thrown Bijoy out of his own house by now...) For Soha he controlled his anger asked sorry which is so much away from Dev's character...because for Dev his mom is never wrong so why apologise on behalf of her.??

And hence the question to her daughter how do you know your father is the best husband?? She took this opportunity to tell Sonakshi that a relationship works out because two ppl decides to make it successful...Asha emphasized that for both Bijoy and her their relationship was imp...and because of which both did adjustments and sacrifices to be where they are today!!

I hope Sonakshi ponders on what happened with her relationship with Dev and how it failed miserably...

I loved this seen so much...



PS: Now the question is why try to correct Sonakshi...why cant she do that to Dev...my answer would be one should try and correct our own kids first before we find flaws in others kids...

I think asha talked to the wrong person. The Convo was very nice and enlightening and yes only asha can answer whether bijoy is a good husband or not but that was not the context here. It doesn't matter whether bijoy is a good husband or not becoz its not a competition.

Asha is behaving like a typical indian mother who send their daughter back to the greedy inlaws to be burnt with single word of advice to adjust. Sab theek ho jayega.

If Asha is trying for Devakshi reunion than am sure she is here for another rude shock; until and unless Dev doesn't change his behaviour not only towards Sona but her family included; doesn't throw GKB and Vicki out of IN; and take some drastic step for Ishwari's insecurity and manipulations; Dev can never ever have a normal family life with Sona/Soha; so Asha's words won't have any effect cos it goes to the wrong person; Sona alone cannot hold the relationship; it takes 2 people to work out the relationship; earlier also we have seen Sona trying to work the relationship she even agreed for infertility treatment just for Ishwari's happiness; so if again Asha wants Devakshi reunion she would see her daughter being hurt once again and won't be able to forgive herself!!

Read all your comments...why I liked her conversation is because unlike last time she didn't support Dev...rather gave a very balanced statement that one person cant be judged by just one action...and her main aim here was not to get these two reconcile but stop her daughter from comparing Dev with Bijoy ...

As she rightly said , Soha would be affected if she goes and fight with Dev. He is here ONLY for his daughter and to concentrate on that ...she wanting her daughter to be happy and settled is a different thing ...but what is imp is Soha and her up bringing ...they are all sacrificing their peace of mind for that ...so she tried to channel her daughters mind for a amicable relationship with Soha's father Dev...

Both Dev and Sonakshi are easily influenced by Ishwari and Bijoy respectively...because they think that these ppl can never go wrong ...

Asha acceptance that Bijoy is flawed will make Sonakshi think twice before she gets carried away ...and start comparing...

It takes a lot of giving in and sacrifices from every individual in a family to live under the same roof...

In a fit of anger or giving back attitude can only have broken families...but again it depends on individuals and their tolerance level and how imp that relationship is for you...

For Bijoy and Asha inspite of temper tantrums, their relationship was imp to them hence they decided to give in...but for Sonakshi and Dev , they have never given imp to THEIR relationship...all the other relationships are imp .. this is what happens when two self sacrificing ppl falls in love...all the others had a joy ride except them...

That's what Asha was trying to say ...give imp to your relationship with ur spouse !!

I love only this in the whole episode today...Asha n Sonas convo was very much genuine n heartfelt!..This is exactly what my mom keeps on telling me untiil now being married for 14+yrs...There is nothing like perfect shaadi,perfect partners,perfect life... To strive for balanced happy life ..many compromises ,sacrifices n adjustments have to be made to make it successful n beautiful!..I just wish Sona takes into her n instropects her part where did she go wrong ...If only she had not desertedn gave upon Dev so soon...!

mothers like aasha are responsible for all the domestic homicides . recently in USA an Indian guy stabbed and killed his wife and 7 yr old son as she wanted to get separated as the husband was having an affair for last 7 yrs. parents of both side knew it for the last 6 yrs and they didnt do anything to bring the girl and son back to india. Now they are demanding justice after both are dead... Police should put the girls parents in jail along with the husband.

I just hate mothers/parents like Asha.. I understand if she suggests Sona a better way of talking to Dev to discuss the same matter instead of screaming and fighting with him.
But just stopping her from discussing it and also telling her how she herself adjusted etc is just regressive... I hate such character ... no matter how sweetly she talks.
