After almost 24 hours of watching yesterday's episode, I am still angry.

According to me, Dev needed a strong reality check yesterday and who better could have given a fitting reply to him than Asha.
Since the woman lost her marbles (excuse my language) and this may never happen on this show - I might as well say it here. So here are mine (as in Asha's) dialogues to Dev :

"Get off your high horse dude! I came here to apologize for Bijoy's behavior. So be graceful and accept it instead being an absolute jerk and saying how innocently your mother left."

"I am not entitled to listen to you with regards to my marriage, especially when we lasted for 30+ years. My daughter is my shadow, imagine if I could 'tolerate' Bijoy, what my daughter went through in your house that she couldn't tolerate you as a husband"

"Your family can return a sarcastic comment if Boses appear at Dixit doorsteps 7 days later, since you, my dear Dev, have already confirmed that to Bijoy."

"What do you mean by saying that you could have be angry too, didn't you already express it while the way you joined hands in front of Bijoy? So stop fooling around and showing off your greatness in anger management. You are no saint"

Finally, I love this line from one of my favorite shows and I so wish Asha should have said this to Dev - "Careful, I am the only friend you have got.. in this house'.

Last but not the least -
Women have to stand up for themselves - sometimes by being vocal and some times being too vocal. Because communication is the key. And people like Dev and his mother, need everything spelt out - they lack the understanding of body language, gestures or silence.

Thanks for reading and feel free to add more if you think this wasn't enough. But no physical violence please, Dixits are only use to verbal abuse (they ace it you see 😉)

I wanted to ask Asha one question
She was the one who told sona to fight for her self respect when they were homeless
Why dint she thought sona that time how she adjusted with bijoy?
Whats the point of hiving lecture aftrr 7 years...

And asha before saying sorry to dev on bijoy's behalf...did u remember same dev slapped ur husband?
Asked ur daughter to get out and called her god digger and infertile...he said all this in anger only..
Why dint ahe question him on that?

Just one line- When you can tolerate someone like your mother, tolerating the rest is a cake walk 😆
Forget Sonakshi or Golu or Bijoy. I have no idea how and why Dev doesn't find Ishwari suffocating. That is illogical and inhuman right there 😆 So the question of the day- how does Dev tolerate his mom? She has literally screwed his life yet it makes no difference to him. I really wish someone asked him this question just so he realizes that its equally tough for the rest to tolerate his family. Just as much as it is for him to put up with Bijoy for the sake of his daughter. The makers have no idea what they are showing because no one is really talking about the actual issues. Bijoy's childish antics, Dev's immature behaviour, Asha's over-compassionate nature and Dev-Sona's lame fights are just timepass- with zilch movement in the story. Which is what the makers want anyway 😆

Well said, Sia. I completely agree. Had Asha said that, I'd have applauded her. She didn't have to be rude. She could have said it in a very nice honey sweet tone too. But she didn't. She lectured her daughter.
Why? Who is Dev to her now?

Correct me if I am wrong. This is the man who claimed to love his daughter. Then dumped her when Mummy said so.

Then continued to stalk her while she tried to move on but only agreed to marry her because Mummy said so.

After marriage tried to get on her good books calling her Maa but turned it into aunty because, you guessed it. Mummy said so.

Then her daughter calls her crying that he kept her waiting on his birthday without even a phone call while he was celebrating with his family (meanwhile, she and her family was celebrating his birthday at home thinking her daughter and son-in-law are enjoying too), because yep, Mummy said so.

Then she found out that her daughter can't be mother and apparently Dev is fine with it and married her knowing all this. Yet he forced her to go through fertility treatment because, you in know the answer, Mummy said so.

Next thing she knows, he helped her son with money. But took their honour as payment when after his family insulting her husband and her son with gracious names like thief, gold digger, slapped her husband. Well, for the same reason.

Then someone from his family comes with pre-nup which he had said he doesn't want to sign and eviction paper with his signature and they are thrown on the street and the reason provided her was Mummy said so.

Then after 7 years of struggle when that man was no where around, he appears again and starts bothering and insulting her daughter publicly.

Then he finds out that he has a daughter and enters their life again. He starts his taunts the moment he enters to her husband, yet can't take the same directed to his mother and calls her husband a terrible man. Because Mummy got upset.

And this situation came a full circle.

So tell me, what kind of wife and mother should we call Asha? Even Radha has more loyalty to her son than Asha has to her family.

In fact, Asha completely ignored the point Sona made that Dev has no right to talk about her father when Sona never insulted his family. Asha turned that point into lecture on marriage and adjustment when 1. They have no marriage left to adjust to and 2. Sona was defending her father. Not Asha's husband considering how badly Asha failed in sticking up to her husband.

Let's not forget that this is the woman who wanted to talk after her son-in-law slapped her husband. The same husband who was willing to stand up for her against the same person when he called her aunty. Funny, in spite of anger issues, Asha never had to remind Bijoy that she is his wife. Yet Bijoy had to remind Asha that he is her husband.

In my opinion, Asha has a false sense of wisdom. Her moment of ultimate realization will be when she will get a slap from her Dixits herself. CVs have made a caricature of her character, no sane person can behave saintly when their daughter has been wronged so much.
Even if she is in this zone of let bygones be bygones, yet she should have given him her piece of mind. Atleast Sonakshi should have.

Do you think they would start off today from where they left yesterday?
