It was the day of engagement khurana mansion was being decorated as bride,dadi was busy giving instructions,while meera took care of catering,yash was taking notes to get few things from market ,every one was busy in giving their best to make the function success,while the person in question was cooly getting ready for his office...the moment he stepped down ,he almost dropped his phone hearing his dadi shout..
Dadi:aap kaha jaa rahe hai maan!?
Maan:office dadi,par aa paisa kyun pochrahe hai...mein toh roz jaatha hoon naa.
Dadi:aaj aap khi engagement hai,aal bhi aap office jayenge...yeh kya bath hui..
Maan:engagement,sham koh hai..mein sham tak aajaonga dadi..
Dadi:par..
Maan:nahi dadi imp meeting hai..jana jarori hai..plz
He was about to move when yash phone rang..seeing the id he lifted at once..
Yash:haan geet bolo...
Two pair of ears alerted hearing geet name one was maan,other was meera..both looked at him while dadi was watching maan expressions with a narrowed eyes...the moment yash finished his cal meera questioned him,why geet called him...
Yash:ek patient khi meditation mein kuch doubt hui toh cal kiya...
Meera:par aap koh kyun cal kiya yash,waha baki doctors bhi they naa.
Yash looked at her not understanding her questions and shrugged his shoulders saying:who mera patient hai meera aur mein aaj leave par hoon toh,who muje hi cal karegi naa..
Meera:who aaj bhi duty par hai..aaj uss khi behen khi engagement par..kaise ladki hai yeh..
Yash and dadi looked at meera like she had grown two horns,while maan fumed at her words,he didn't like the way she talked about geet...even before he think words left his mouth..
Maan:aaj meri engagement hai meera, mein kaam par jaa raha hoon toh kya mein galath hoon, meera nodded her head in no,toh geet kyun nahi!?waise bhi who doctor hai kab kis koh us khi zarorath pade...
He left without noticing he made his dadi and dear bro nearly to faint ,while meera face paled .
On the otherside sam was grilling geet..
Sam:tumhe aaj bhi jaana tha geet!?
Geet:di,aap noon mein parlour jayengi naa,mein ajaongi di,aap fikar math karo.
Sam:aaj toh leave lethi geet.
Geet:emergency thi ,issi liye aana pada,maine half liya hai aap koh join karongi jaldi,abhi aap phone rako muje patients koh dhekni hai di.
Sam:geet sun,mein diya koh bhi lehavon mere sath.
Geet:di muje nahi lagta who utni dher chup rahegi,waise bhi uss khi fever abhi toh kam hua naa vaccin kah...
Sam:hmm,toh mein bore hojavongi..
Geet:ji,nahi mein ajaongi di..abh rako muje kaam karne doh!!
Geet got busy in her patients after the cal,clearly knowing if she got late her di will grill her more...singhania's were selecting gifts for the groom side,they didn't want to leave any chance to upset anyone,while rano was controlling a cranky diya keeping her eyes on the arrangements ,helping her Bhabhi in middle,all were waiting for the evening with a happy note.
Km was buzzing with slowly pouring guests from business associates,employes,clients someof distant relatives..dadi and meera were receiving them,while yash was with maan upstairs making him ready in jet speed as he was already late much to dadi annoyance,so in order to save himself from more brunt yash was helping his bro...
Teji and pammi too reached and dadi welcomed them warmly,even before dadi questioned where sameera is,she entered with geet looking like a perfect bride,both made their ways towards them,sam took blessings of dadi,followed by geet,dadi patted both affectionatly,while meera was disturbed seeing geet .meera excused herself and joined her mom,both were watching how both families were chatting and trying to know eachother...dadi was about to ask where rano is,when geet did
Geet:mamu ,maa aur diya kaha hai..
Mami:geet who diya soh rahi thi,bohoth taki hui thi,toh rano todid her mein ayegi,jaise diya utegi uss she leke...
Sam:diya teek hai naa maa..
Mamu;haan beta bas,humne hi use sone diya,agar jabardasti late toh aur tak jayegi..bas todi dher mein aayayenge who bhi..
Geet was restless hearing about dia,she excused herself to cal rano,as she didn't speak with her from afternoon,as she was with sam,she was searching a place with less crowd looking here and there,when she bumped into someone thankfully she didn't lost her balance,but was ready to blast the person..
Geet;dhek kar nahi...
Maan:tum idar udar dhek rahi thi..mein nahi
Geet:toh aap koh patah tha meri dyan nahi,phir bhi aap takraye mujhse...
Maan:haan kyun khi muje tumhe samjana tha,aise chalogi toh kisi na kisi she takravogi..
Geet:iss liye aap khudh takraye..muje samjane khey liye...app..
Maan:waise kis koh dhoondh rahi thi muje...
Geet:huffed in disbelief:muje e kcal karna hai...
Maan:ohh,waise kis koh itni bechaini she cal karrahi ho..koi spcl..
Geet:meri maa koh,muje patah karna hai meri be..
Before she complete her sentence someone called maan ,she excused from him but maan kept looking at her until she disappeared from his sight,he still reeling in the fact,he actually talked,no flirted with her,whats that in her make him do things which he never did,he went away smiling to himself,while one more person smiled sadly,dadi who came to cal maan,hear their convo and their experienced eyes didn't miss the glint in maan eyes..instead of coming to sam ,she even saw how mischeviously maan bumped on geet...
Finally finding no other opton geet came out to cal rano,only to know they were about to reach the place in few minutes,as rano was unknown to them,geet waited outside for them.once maan joined sam,people came to congratulate them,... Sam and maan was standing amidst of guests when dev,a client of maan was wishing him...at the precise moment Geet along with diya came there and geet steps frozen seeing him with sam...the only thing came in her mind was...
WHAT THE HELL HE WAS DOING THERE...WHY SHOULD SHE SEE HIM AFTER YRS...WHY GoD WAS PLAYING WITH HER DIYA...
Not only geet,rano steps too flatterd seeing him there,she looked questioningly at geet,but in a blink of eye everything was clear to her,she looked at dadi with a questioning eyes,dadi just noded her head ,clearing remaining doubts...rano took astep back stumbling,why it was always them to subject pain,now it was not one but two blows from past,
why he was again infront of her daughter..after what all ...without wasting a second she took hold of geet and diya ,turned to leave,she knew what may happened even she stand few more minutes there...
Geet stopped her mom ,who was panicking,geet pressed her handsto make her aware of the surroundings..
Geet:maa,di khi engagement hai...hum chale gaye toh..
Rano:hum yeha rukk nahi sakthey geet,tumne muje bataya kyun hai,sam khi rishta iss ghar mein horahi hai,,,tumhe patah hai maa,,yeh,,
Geet:maa who sab ussi din katam hogaya..aap kyun purani batoh koh..
Rano:tumhe nahi lagtha tumhari mamu aur mami koh yeh bath patah honi chahiye...kher chodo yeh sab..mein yeha ek pal nahi rahongi..naa hi tumhe rehne dhoongi..uss neh tumhe dhekliya geet..
Geet too understood the gravity and agreed to leave:teek hai aap ek baar mamu koh bold oh hum jaa rahe hai..
Rano nodded and left insearch of her brother ,while geet stood in a corner clutching diya...
