Ok, here comes the continuation part of Chapter 36 and why Khushi is immature...

Chapter 36 Continued -

Everyone had already arrived at RM! After sumptuous lunch, everyone at together in the living room for desserts... That's when Arnav got everyone's attention and looked at Nani indicating her to talk...

"Shashi, Garima and Madhumatiji, we all know how much Arnav and Khushi bitiya look good together. I always loved Khushi bitiya as much as Payal and wanted her to be another Raizada bahu. And I am really happy now that Arnav has expressed his love for Khushi. We are proud of Khushi for taking care of Arnav when he fell sick in Paris. She let go their past differences, took care of him and they found solace with each other... And now we would like Khushi Bitiya to be our bahu as soon as possible..." Naniji put forward marriage proposal straight without any hesitation...

"Hi re Titaliya, do you like him?" Buaji knew she loved Arnav but wanted to hear it from Khushi...

"Buaji, she loves me too" Arnav was excited and answered even before Khushi could reply... Everyone laughed to see their Arnav acting like a love sick puppy...

"Chote, hold on, we want to hear it from Khushi..." Anjali was adamant. All eyes were on Khushi now... She suddenly felt so shy... But her heart melted looking at Arnav's restless face...

"Yes, I love Arnavji very much and want to marry him..." Khushi hugged her Buaji from behind and hid her face...

"Khushi, don't go back calling me Arnavji... I am Arnav for you" Arnav hated her going back to Arnavji...

"Laad Governor, I just expressed my love for you and you only heard Arnavji..." Khushi showed her fake anger...

"Chote and Khushi, can you please stop and fight after marriage, now that we have important discussion about your marriage at hand..." All laughed their heart out at Arnav and Khushi's expense... Just then Panditji walked in...

"Come in Paditji" Naniji handed over Khushi and Arnav's horoscope and birth time details to find a suitable wedding date and times... HP brought in some snacks for Panditji...

As usual Khushi started playing with Anusha once she got up while Arnav was desperately waiting for dates from Panditji...

"There is very auspicious wedding date in 3 weeks... Then another one in 6 months and few more next year and even 2 years from now is a very auspicious year to marry... We expect lots of marriages to happen then..." Panditji provided details after matching their horoscope...

"Let's fix wedding in 3 weeks then..." Arnav immediately demanded in his typical ASR tone... He did not want to hear any other dates...

"No way... Three weeks is too less for preparation" Buaji expressed her concern...

"Don't worry about preparations, I will handle that part Buaji. Everything will be under control" Arnav knew he can hire enough people to get married tomorrow if family allows him...

Buaji looked at Khushi who was busy playing with Anusha... She herself looked like a child just 21 year old but way immature than her age and innocent... Khushi was still in Paris and they wanted her to come back. She has faced lots of turmoil and came out as a winner and they wanted to spend some time with their new Khushi who is confident and ready to handle the world!

"I am not sure Arnav bitwa... Don't get me wrong... But Payal got married at the age of 23 or almost 24... Khushi is just 21, way innocent and immature! I think we should wait..." Buaji honestly expressed her feelings...

"Even I feel we should wait... She does not look ready yet..." Garima said politely looking at Khushi who was playing hide and sick with Anusha and enjoying it as much as Anusha...

Anjali could see Arnav's crest fallen face and decided to intervene and help her brother a little...

"We understand Buaji... But when it comes to relationships, Khushi is way mature and understands her family and priorities well. And she has all the freedom after marriage to continue whatever she wants to do be it work, education or anything that she likes... And plus Chote is older and mature for both of them so they will be fine..." Anjali politely expressed her view and called Khushi to join them...

"Ha Di, you called?" Khushi came there with Anusha still playing...

"What do you think about marriage in 3 weeks or do you want to marry after a year or so?" Anjali felt Khushi's opinion was equally important and not just Arnav demanding and doing everything his way!

"In 3 weeks?" Khushi was really surprised hearing marriage in 3 weeks... She couldn't hide her anxiety of marriage preparations so immediately and looked at her Amma, Babuji and Buaji...

"That's what we are saying Khushi..." Buaji immediately picked up the same point...

By then Anusha was pulling Khushi's hair trying to grab her attention and giggling... Khushi also got involved in her innocent act and was distracted... She was cuddling with Anusha and lost her track about marriage discussion...

"Plus she is so immature! Maybe it is worth waiting at least for a year or more..." Buaji could not help but mention it again. She wanted to see Khushi and Arnav's reaction...

Arnav looked at Khushi and by now his anger was at peak... Such an important discussion and she was playing with a two year old!

"Yeah Buaji, she is almost same age as Anusha or may be smaller... She is so immature! Let's wait for 5 years or maybe 10... Even Anusha will grow up but Khushi might stay the same..." Arnav said sarcastically in a harsh tone... Everyone could see how angry he was already... Anjali just held his hand trying to calm him down...

"Arnav, why are you saying that...? And if you think I am so immature, let's wait then... So I can finish my education as well..." Khushi got angry at him for mocking her and calling her immature...

"Arnav bitwa, we can do the engagement and plan marriage some other time!" Buaji really wanted to see Khushi's readiness but this was almost back firing...

"As you wish" Arnav had already lost the battle thinking Khushi was not interested in marrying so soon. Anything else didn't matter... He walked away upstairs without looking at Khushi and that's when she realized what just happened...

The discussions ended without any engagement date forget about the marriage!

Arnav opened the pool side door and sat on the lounge... He felt so frustrated and mad that he could have thrown everything in anger but he just controlled himself...

He recollected whatever happened downstairs! It was him who wanted to marry her right now given a chance but she was not ready yet, he immediately realized... Unless she feels the same passion for him and wants to be with him, there was no point...

And if she is not ready, should he really force her? His heart asked him and he knew the answer right away! He wouldn't force her into anything even if it meant another long wait for him...

"HP, bring everyone tea" Naniji ordered HP to make tea after she further discussed few things with Panditji...

Khushi went running upstairs to Arnav's room... She didn't find her in his room but saw him sitting pool side looking at the water lost... She realized what a blunder she did downstairs?

"Arnav, listen... We will talk to Buaji again" Khushi tried to say something...

"It's ok Khushi, let them decide the dates. I am absolutely fine if you want to marry after your post-graduation..." Arnav answered feeling defeated... He wanted to ask her angrily, how you could do that especially when I had poured my heart out just an hour ago but he did nothing of that sort, controlled his anger and sat there looking at the water... He didn't buzz when she tried to take him downstairs...

Khushi thought something and immediately left alone...

"Buaji, I want to talk to you all" Khushi started as soon as they were back home from RM.

"Buaji, I thought you were joking about me being immature and tagged along saying we will marry later. But I really love Arnavji and would like to marry him after 3 weeks" Khushi was no longer shy in putting forward her thoughts...

Her Amma, Babuji and Buaji were shocked yet they expected this somewhere...

"We all know each other for almost one and half years and I feel I am ready for marriage. And I don't want Arnav to wait any longer..." Khushi was almost on the verge to cry...

"You love him so much, don't you?" Buaji asked her looking straight into her eyes. Khushi nodded hugging her Buaji tight and started crying...

"Titaliya, we have no problems if you both want to get married in 3 weeks. But remember, he loves you much more... We have seen it. It's just that I wanted to make sure you are also ready for the marriage..." Buaji consoled her...

"Thank you so much Buaji. But how do you know he loves me more? What made you say that?" Khushi asked curiously...

"When you informed him about going to Paris, I had seen him leaving crying Khushi... Plus he kept visiting us, helped us out of that mess and took care of your Babuji's treatment by taking him to the best doctors possible and expenses. He did all this via Akash because he did not want you to know or did not want you to feel obliged... Yesterday he talked to us about you staying with him in Paris to take care of him, he did not want us to misunderstand you both... And today he was so angry when we tried to postpone the marriage but still accepted our decision for you... Imagine Asia's most eligible bachelor for whom all the girls out there would line up to marry without a flinch, is ready to wait for you without any hesitation..." Buaji explained her...

"Buaji, please talk to Naniji as soon as possible and start the marriage preparations for the date after 3 weeks" Khushi did not say anything further and just ran to her room...

She absorbed this new information about Arnav from her own family, she recalled how he had designed their wedding attires and felt ashamed that she handled the wedding discussions so badly...

"Arnav's opinion about me is right... I am so immature and dumb... How could I play with Anusha while they are deciding dates for my own marriage?" She cried her heart out... She decided to calm down first, compose herself and call Arnav in the night and have a long talk with him!

"Arnav!" Khushi called Arnav but he asked her to hold on and was talking on another line...

"Khushi, Some problem has arisen in our project at Paris and I have to leave for Paris tonight in about an hour. I will see you later. Good night. I need to do packing and get going..." Arnav informed her and finished the call since he had to fly in couple of hours...

Khushi was lost. What just happened? Suddenly she felt out of breath when she realized she felt so far and disconnected from Arnav!

Was he upset with her and leaving or was there real work? She did not know... But it was too late for her to join him on the same flight...
