JNDSD~ My take~ Friday 24.3.17~ taking it out on others..
We all may be guilty of taking out our stress on others. Let loose on innocent spectators. This may be due to the fact that the predicament we find ourselves in may swamp and overwhelm us, leaving us no other option but to displace the gush of emotions elsewhere. After watching yesterday's episode which flows into today's too. For me, in a nut shell this whole business of Kajri and Suman only comes across to me as Suman releasing what psychologists call the phenomenon of displaced aggression. Kajri was pushed over the balcony by Suman ,because she felt powerless at fighting off the odds. That her husband loved Sujata and carried Ramakant's baby. Kajri mocks her, Suman fails to fight off the truth that Kajri states in a seemingly supportive statement and pushes the woman over the balcony to her doom.. I hasten to add that my take is based on as things move along in the story and not on the give away spoiler ,that the Kajri scenario is the brain child of the notorious suddenly gone missing lover of Guddi.. spoilers for me destroy the surprise, suspense element in the screen play..
Vividha is always one to go all the way to the bottom of things, if she is on to a lead. Here Madhav gave her the lead ,another woman apart from grandma. A cupboard and a game in which he is asked to hide in the cupboard. Next minute Vividha goes to the dank, dingy storeroom and cobwebs from the past are removed when the cupboard reveals the dark secret of Kajri's death some thirty years ago..
On the balcony ,we get to see the carry forward of yesterday's dramatic revelation of Kajri the housemaid. Now we get to hear Suman's cry ,her justifications of taking her rage out on the maid in the most fatal way. We hear Suman but condemn her brutal act. In her own words she commits not an accident but manslaughter..an act committed under instigated rage. I can think of a known term, Suman's with her "stress rolled downhill "situation at that point of time.. by her words to Kajri the troubled spirit.. Suman gives her defense to the audience too.. tells us, that toppling Kajri to death, was when she dumped her anger on someone else. On seeing Sujata with Ramakant ,she was unable to suppress her stress , her negative emotions .. she felt alone, beaten by her husband's relationship and Ramakant's and hers at its lowest! making her fearful of the uncertainty... but yes she admits, she cracked under emotional trauma, but it was Sujata's fault! Suman blames Sujata to cover up her heinous crime.! Her hidden feelings .. revenge against Sujata seep through in her words with the Kajri's sprit. Its Sujata, Atharv or even Madhav.. have them! She tells Kajri and release her spirit from agony! but free her and her son Ravish .Suman also strikes a deal Kajri's spirit, mentions, her witch mentor says that she too, seeks revenge from Sujata ,she will help her get her Nemisis, as long as Kajri lets her and Ravish be!. The scene illustrates stress rolling , gone deadly dangerous! where Suman stands and confesses her guilt. But is there one evil one who perhaps manipulates? Suman's past unfortunate incident and presently blackmails Suman.. overall tip for Suman Is to stop emotion rolling before she hurts someone else, her son Ravish! and learn to stop taking it out others. All these years it's given her nothing except , severed bonds and growing bitterness that will eat away her life satisfaction.. for the new moon night, the night that Kajri got killed ,Suman has the two male Vashists, Atharv and Madhav as the offering for her son's and her own peace and happiness.
Easy access to such a deep secret for Vividha that of Kajri's death did cost her a knock on the head and unceremonious removal from the lounge into the doomed store room. Her presence in this house shakes the very existence of evil. Where Suman fails to remove Vividha, Atharv's shield of protection. The old witch her mentor has to show up and lock Vividha in the store room.. gagged and tied.. but this very situation unites the young family ..
When needs to know is enough Vividha .. hears bits of conversation between two women, full moon night but sees not Suman...but knows the voice. Sounds familiar.
People bonded in love or blood ties.. tend to somehow connect be in absence or presence.. Vividha's disappearance sets off alarm bells, first with Ravish who rings her and cannot reach her. Then it's Madhav who needs his mother first thing when he wakes up. Madhav's cries! saves his father from having some drugged juice. Atharv flies to Madhav...who hastily remembers to don his disguise. From then on father and son shout Ramkali's name across the house. Vividha slithers and drags her body to freedom from the storeroom.. with many a important secrets stored in her mind. What comes to my mind that her disappearance is again an ill planned and overconfident venture which brings Vividha, Atharv and Madhav closer. Guddi ,Suman and their head witch all didn't allow cover for failure.. there scheme would have worked, if Atharv would have consumed the drugged drink. But looking for Vividha over shadowed everything! In fact the enemy camp get to see the father and son interaction.. hand in hand ,side by side, all in all support for each other. United into a strong bond.
Well if it boils down to taking audiences through a maze.. the cv's ,in my humble opinion seem to be doing a fairly good job. Going around in circles , things seeming far- fetched and strange .. are the very essence of mystery, and that there is plenty of in the episode. One thing it clearly states it that the big night is here..so more sinister, drama and revelations are expected soon.. Madhav confronts Suman! Now that sounds ominous .. hamlet53 25.3 .17
