I have read several posts stating the show to be modern day shows. Can anyone explain how?

How can be a mother so insecure about her son, that she can tolerate his ignorance for 7 years but can't tolerate his daughter-in-law for even a minute, even if the questions come to her granddaughter. Why is her insecurity so exaggerated? They have shown her insecurity in first season, at that point it was okay, but why again? Have they left with nothing to show beyond Ishwari's insecurities??

The screenplay of the show is written by one of the best modern day and one of the greatest authors in India, Durjoy Datta, who have achieved so much fame in extremely small span of 5-6 years, having more than a dozen of books in his account, most famously, Of course I love you... and If it's not forever... It is beyond imagination that he can even write screenplay like this which is going in this show apparently...

So disappointed. Atleast, they should have not portrayed a mother in this light, who becomes a villain in her son's life due to her insecurity. I mean, have some respect for the word "mother" atleast. Showing some sort of insecurity and portraying her as a villain are different things.

A request for CVs, if you are showing insecurity of a mother, no-one is going to stop you are bash you, but please don't exaggerate it. Build some new ideas, show some new stuffs, unique ones.

I think portrayal of ishwari is very unique becoz in telly serials various.mothers have been shown a complete villian type who don't like their DIL due to her financial status, culture or belong to a enemy family who torture her DIL like anything but here ishwari is represented as insecure mother which is very unique in its sense. The main problem with this woman is she is not a manipulative woman but her thinking and her views are polluted nd she is a mental case in that sense who doesn't understand anything but live in her own illusionary world. Cv's have precisely shaped her character, Till begining u cannot point out what wrong she has done. She has done nothing much but her negative vibes create a negative atmosphere nd wrong things happen. She is shown as inauspicious woman who doesn't get happy nd don't let anybody happy. She is always sulking nd crying nd has unnecessary demands.She is character who has potential of turning a positive character in future upon realisation. She is not a complete black but we can say a grey character.

If she was not worried about her financial status, then what was the prenuptial agreement made for? Whether she had done something or nothing, why those types of negative vibes. Who can feel the way she feels? Seondly, at the end, every character which is worth positive is made positive character, regardless whatsoever he/she had done
