Chapter 35 - India Trip

Khushi and Arnav reached India and he dropped her first at her place before heading to RM. He almost felt at loss after she bade good bye.

He could see her excitement to see her family ad she rushed without looking back!! But he was completely lost in her, started missing her already... Oh my god, I better get some grip on myself and he drove to RM.

"Chote, so good to see you..." Anjali came running to him and hugged him...

He looked healthy, happy and peaceful after being in relationship with Khushi, she could see that... She was always updated over phone about all their rendezvous... After all she was big sister and exactly knew how to get his inner feelings out from him...

"Anusha, my baby... my darling..." Arnav just hopped fast to take her in his arms... She was so adorable and darling of the house... Yes, Anusha is his niece and Di's daughter...

Next day Khushi arrived at RM in the morning to help her jiji and Di for the evening party... But she forgot everything after seeing Anusha. She was copy of Arnav and so adorable! Anusha also went to Khushi as if she knows her well and Khushi ended up spending most of her day with Anusha though it turned out to be big help for Di.

Arnav watched her and was amazed how Khushi completely forgot him after meeting the family especially Anusha and though he loved her childish behavior with Anusha, her ignorance was getting on to his nerves...

"Khushi, come here..." Arnav literally pulled her inside his room and locked the door behind her...

"Why the hell are you always busy? Don't you know I am waiting for you?" Arnav barked. Since morning she was at RM for the evening party but she had not even spared a glance at him and he was mad at her for her ignorance...

"Arnav, we are here just for 4 days... There is so much work for the evening party and you are busy waiting for me?" She asked him back...

"Come on Khushi, I don't have time to argue with you... Here you go, this is what you are wearing in the evening and accessories also kept in the box" By now Khushi was used to him surprising her with a new dress every occasion.

"OK, can I go now? Unlike you I have lot of work..." She wanted to quickly escape from him knowing what he wanted and she did not want to get caught by family yet...

They are yet to announce and tell both side of family about their love and desire to get married as soon as possible. Since she was so shy, Arnav promised he would initiate the talks...

He held her hand and spun her and she crashed on his chest...

"Not before I kiss you thoroughly baby... You need to thank for the dress remember..."

"Laad Governor!" she muttered but could not say anything further... He was already kissing her sensuously and roughly missing her for hours...

"Fix your lipstick before going out. And tomorrow meet me at AR in the morning. I have some work cut out for us for couple of hours and then we will come together to RM for lunch..." He smirked at her and walked out...

"Khushi, I need your help... Where were you?" Payal asked her stressed out...

"Can't you see Payal which room she is coming out from?" Anjali teased her and Khushi was all red...

"What happened inside that you are so flushed Khushi?" Anjali teased her directly...

"Yeah, Khushi what were you doing in my room alone?" Arnav teased her too...

"Laad Governor, I will show you later..." She muttered under her breath and ran towards Buaji as if she had some work... Payal and Di did hi-fi to each other...

Khushi looked at the exquisite red and black shimmer western long gown with accessories. Khushi decided to visit parlor with Di and her jiji to get ready for the party...

That's when Arnav took the opportunity to talk to nani about Khushi. Naniji was more than happy to know Arnav and Khushi love each other... She was ecstatic to hear Arnav wanted to marry Khushi! She thought to call Guptas' and get them married before he changes his mind! She called Guptas' for lunch next day!

The evening Wedding Anniversary party was a glam affair! Very close knit business associates and family only was invited...

Payal and Akash looked fabulous in color coordinated clothes... Payal was glowing much more and Akash was always holding her hand while walking... Raizada as well as Gupta family members could see glimpse of doting Akash!

"So on this beautiful day, we have another reason to celebrate... We are ready to welcome a new member in our family... Payal is pregnant" Akash announced proudly...

The family members went crazy and everyone started hugging Payal and congratulating them...

Khushi was on the stairs when she heard the news! She just came running and held Payal in a bone crushing hug...

"Jiji, I can't believe it... Soon I will have a baby to play with" Khushi announced loudly...

"You are mad Khushi and slow down..." Buaji held Khushi's ear and everyone laughed their heart out...

Arnav's eyes were constantly on Khushi... She not only looked gorgeous in long western gown he had designed but her innocence made him go crazy for her!

Even he had color coordinated his shirt with her dress as usual and it didn't go unnoticed by his Di... Anjali herself was wearing a sari from Arnav's latest collection and looked beautiful and at peace...

Arnav requested to play slow music and Akash took Payal to dance floor... Slowly all couples joined them and the elders were watching proudly...

That's when Suraj Sah, one of the business partners asked Anjali for a dance... Arnav was surprised and his ASR instinct were out immediate but he had known Suraj for a long time and knew him as a gentle man and he wanted to see his Di's reaction...

Anjali gladly accepted and put her hand in Suraj's hand! He took her to the dance floor... Arnav could see his Di happily chatting and dancing with Suraj... She was at ease and it reflected on her face... May be she was ready to move on in her life, Arnav realized... He just wished she gets a partner this time that truly deserves her and loves her unconditionally!

Then he saw Khushi standing in a corner holding Anusha and playing with her and pointing her to Anjali... Anusha was smiling all the time... He had no idea how Khushi manages to mesmerize everyone around her... He could see so many eyes ogling at Khushi! Yet his crazy girl had no idea how killer she looks...

Buaji saw Arnav staring at Khushi and she smiled... She quickly took Anusha from Khushi and asked her to get water for her. The serving area was exactly behind where Arnav was standing...

Arnav took the opportunity and pulled Khushi to dance with him...

"Relax, don't make it so obvious..." Arnav whispered in her ears pulling her closer...

"Stop it Arnav, everyone is watching us..." Khushi was shy to dance so intimately with him in front of families...

"Why do you get worked up always? Anyways I will talk to them over lunch tomorrow. Happy?" He asked her.

"Oh yes, I am afraid of Buaji's eyes scanning me all the time around you. Plus Di and Jiji never let go any chance to ask me about you..." Khushi sighed and rest her head on his shoulder.

"Now who is clinging to who? Buaji is watching you by the way..." Arnav smirked... Khushi immediately stepped back and Arnav laughed... By then song was over and Khushi ran to Anusha.

"Meet me up at the terrace after half an hour" Arnav whispered in Khushi's ears before leaving for a conference call. The party was winding up and Khushi did not know how she can escape to meet Arnav at this time of night... Plus she needed to go back home with her family...

"Khushi, need your help. Mr. Mehta is on line too. Buaji, can you all wait for 30 minutes and chat while we finish the call?" Arnav called her and Khushi went running getting the clue.

She indeed quickly talked to Mr. Mehta but Arnav managed to pull her to the terrace from backside of the pool...

It was a shining night with sky full of stars!

"Khushi, you always say our parents have become stars. So I officially wanted to introduce you to my mom before I take permission for marriage tomorrow from your family!" Khushi could see Arnav was emotional...

"Ma, this is Khushi. You have met her many times. But I wanted to inform you that I am asking her hand in marriage tomorrow from her family. So please be with us and shower your love from there..." Arnav pointed to one of the shining star...

Khushi hugged him tight and pointed to two other stars...

"Amma and Babuji, this is my Arnav. I want to marry him..." She was shy even when talking to stars and Arnav smiled at that...

They were standing in each other's arms like forever...

"Arnav, we need to go" Khushi reminded him politely...

"Don't go Khushi..." Arnav just couldn't help but say...

"It's ok Arnav... I have to but let's just enjoy our moments together..." Another few minutes and Khushi pulled him downstairs.

It was a harsh night for both of them without each other...

Chapter 36 - Passionate Arnav and Immature Khushi!

Khushi got ready real fast in the morning and jumped in excitement when she looked at the breakfast table... All her favorite dishes were already aligned... She did not know if she should eat paratha first or jilebis or kheer or aloo puri...

As usual she over ate...

"Buaji, my tummy will burst now... Stop it please" Khushi was going crazy with her Buaji forcing her to eat more!

"What are you wearing Titaliya? But you look great" Buaji commented seeing her in dark blue jeggings and beautiful red sleeveless top...

"Buaji, I need to go... Arnav must be waiting and we have to finish work before lunch... I will see you at RM for lunch..." Khushi screamed from the door...

Buaji was surprised Khushi calling Arnav by his name and with so much ease... She was happy they had made progress. Buaji had also seen the sparks between Arnav and Khushi during Payal's marriage and his repentance later even though she exactly did not know what happened between them... She was happy to see them so close now and they had eyes only for each other...

"Khushi, why are you late?" Arnav barked... He was restless whole night and waiting for her...

"Late, yeah like 15 seconds... Laad Governor" Khushi mocked him...

"I don't care but you are late... And you need to be punished" And he pulled her in a tight hug and went straight for a kiss... A deep passionate kiss!

"Missed you so much baby!" Arnav was still holding her tight...

"I missed you too and could not sleep alone so ended up sleeping with Buaji" Khushi admitted sheepishly...

"Ok, so let's finish work before lunch... What meeting we have to attend?" Khushi asked him getting serious...

"Relax, I will take you there... I have a surprise for you..." Arnav pulled her towards lift...

"They reached top floor of AR Designs building and elevator opened to a private floor, a pent house apartment...

"Arnav, where are we?" Khushi never came here before nor did she know AR had top floor in the same building.

"This is my pend house apartment with private terrace... I own this and sometimes when it's get late at work, this is where I sleep..." Arnav started showing her around...

"Wow Arnav, this is huge..." Khushi loved the four bedroom apartment with state of the art kitchen and private master bedroom on top floor with another private terrace...

"Ok let's go upstairs... I have a surprise for you..." Arnav took her to the master bedroom to open the walk in closet...

"Arnav, what is this?" Khushi was amazed to find some exquisite saris and Indian traditional lehangas there... Very unique and extra ordinary designs that looked way expensive... Then she could see men's color coordinating traditional dresses as well...

"Khushi, this is what we will wear during our wedding... I have designed all by myself and have dresses ready for all rituals..." Arnav hugged her from behind and whispered in her ears...

"And this is matching jewelry for every occasion..." He opened up another box to show her all sets he had already purchased for her...

Shock was an understatement for Khushi! She just couldn't believe it...

"When did you do all this?" Khushi asked still trying to digest it...

"When I came back from Paris first time... Six months I was busy in your memories and designing these for you...

"And what's in here?" Khushi missed his emotions and passion for her since he was still nuzzling her from behind...

"That's a secret... You will get to see when we go for honeymoon... You will have to wait for few days I guess" Arnav turned her around and smirked...

She didn't dare to open those extra boxes and hug him tight...

"Thank you so much Arnav... I love you..." She loved her Arnav...

"I love you more..." Spat came his usual reply...

She was so overwhelmed and touched every dress to feel it... She loved the maroon red marriage lehanga the most with golden backless blouse... She was lost in the dress...

"Arnav, can I try it?" She couldn't help but ask...

"Baby, trust me you will fit in just fine... But no trials... I will see you wearing only during our actual rituals..." Arnav was firm. Khushi sighed but agreed instantly...

"One more place to visit baby, let's go" Arnav ordered her...

"What? So we never had any meeting to attend?" Khushi asked him.

"Nope... I just needed to get you here on time" Arnav winked at Khushi and she spanked him in reply... He was really surprised she just did that... But loved it none the less...

"Arnav, you know I hate suspense... Where are we going?" Khushi was anxious...

"Have patience... We are right there..." Arnav parked car and opened the door for her...

From road side it looked just a small lane surrounded by dense trees... But once they went in, there was beautiful cottage with lots of trees and plants... It was very peaceful and unique place...

"What a beautiful garden Arnav?" Khushi was amazed to see all types of planes especially all color roses and extremely well maintained garden...

"Yes, this is Ma's garden and I just maintain it now... Every plant here is planted by her, some of them by herself and some with me... I picked up gardening hobby from her..." Arnav told her the story behind the house...

"Khushi, I don't believe too much in marriage and rituals after seeing my parents and Di's marriage crumbling... But I brought you here where I always feel my mom's soul, to promise you that I accept you as my life partner and wife in every sense of my life and will love you forever..." Arnav genuinely expressed his feeling for her...

Khushi launched herself into his arms and couldn't help but cry... She was so happy for her and for them... It was a dream come true for her...

"Khushi, is it necessary to cry every occasion?" Arnav complained smiling and offered her napkin...

"Arnav, these are tears of joy... You won't understand... I love you much..." She always knew he wanted to marry her for her belief in marriage and her family but today he proved his love by committing to her in front of his mom...

They sat there for a while sinking in their precious moments and headed back to RM!
