There seems to be alot of be negativity towards this duplicate Shivaay situation. Personally, I wouldn't have liked it either because it's been squished between PriVeer wedding disaster and PiShakNi's weird, no-longer-funny-please-stop-it drama, plus the post-marriage acceptance. However, Fake Shivaay/Fakevaay's behaviour is so intriguing for me. I can see and understand alot of negativity and dislike for this track, but honestly, let's just focus on the positives.
I don't know about you all, but I like this Fake Shivaay. He's funny and he's not that bad. I'm still on the fact that he didn't want to sleep with Annikaji because she's someone else's wife. Fakevaay is not after Annika, and that is so important because it feels like for the past 3 months, Annika's life has been under constant threat. Annika is no longer the main focus and that makes me very happy.
I'm going to say it straight. For me, as of now, Fakevaay is immensely more tolerable than Kamini, ACP or Tia. Fakevaay is so much better because he's has some decency to him, some humanity to him. Fakevaay's bad, but he's not a kameena like Kameeni over there with her pallu drops. Fakevaay's commentary in itself is more funny to watch because you can tell this Fakevaay is some middle-class look alike who has his own personality. That being that Fakevaay honestly doesn't like hugs or the Pehalwaan and Baal ki Dukaan.
I mean, Fakevaay does have something against Pinky. Do you realize that this could be indirect retribution for all of Pinky's venom toward Annika and how her "own son" is actually hurting her. Let's be real, we all didn't like the saas-bahu drama that went down during Nafratbaaz. It put Annika is such a weak light. This track could essentially bring the karma to Pinky's transgressions that she still has said nothing about. Even after Tia's expose, Pinky has done nothing to make amends for how rude and wrong she was.
One thing I know is Nakuul is doing a fantastic job playing this fake. There is so much life to Fakevaay, it makes him unique from Shivaay. It's a different shade to his acting really.
Now, we don't know exactly what will happen in this track. The suspense is in the air ever since the media ban. I have hopes and things I wish would happen in this track but Gul and I think differently, so who knows what'll happen. All in all, I kinda love the track.
On a side note, I want to see Fakevaay reacting to Annika's tashan and Fakevaay being a afraid of her because he can't beat her and she's frightening.
