The man who gave the classic Aashiqui and produced the blockbuster Aashiqui 2 in a Bollywood Hungama exclusive with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar clears the rumours on Alia Bhatt being part of Aashiqui 3.

I think for the first time you're working with Alia in Aashiqui 3?

Well there's nothing serious going in that area as since some time it's been rumored that she is playing lead in Aashiqui 3. We are as of now nowhere close to say that it's happening. The day it happens I'll be the first person to proclaim that I'm working with Alia Bhatt but we as of now have no such plans to make a film called Aashiqui because we're nowhere close to an idea which is called as go idea and only when an idea gets a hurrah from all of us as in idea to invest in we'll not make a beginning.

^^Earlier Alia said that her sister was one of the scriptwriters of A3. Maybe they've decided to shelve it.

Hmm.

Yep, think he got overexcited and announced prematurely - he even elaborated in some IV I read about singing/playing guitar in the film.

The first blow was Alia saying she hasn't signed Aashiqui 3 as there is no bound script so she can't be doing the film.

And ab yeh - the film is not being made now. 😕 Bhatt would know best since he'd be the one producing it 😆

I hope he doesn't talk about projects before they are officially announced from now on.

Yeah - I'm following the Ittefaq buzz coz of Sonakshi and I see that he mentioned first that there'll be no songs and that his character will not be romantically paired with Sonakshi (she confirmed this later). IMO, one shouldn't reveal that before the movie is even shot, let alone before at least a month of release. He'll learn, I guess.

True. Ittefaq is a thriller, and in the original film, there was a hint of romance between the two characters but the viewers were left guessing till the very end. Yes, hope he learns not to talk so much in advance!

I thought Shaheen was working on the script for A3?! I remember Alia mentioning about it in one of her recent IV's. Anyway looks like they arent doing it anymore!
