episode starts with
ranveer and veer are practicing cricket, when ranveer offers his favourite bat to veer. suman thinks about what nupur said to her and about dadi ji's health. she hears veer and ranveer and decides to talk to ranveer.
ranveer and veer are talking over bat which suman hears. veer at first denies to take the bat as his mom had told him never to take away someone's favourite thing. But ranveer explains that he is giving it with his own wish and when that will make veer happy, then he himself will be twice as much happy. at that point veer agrees to take that bat.
suman knocks on the door and enters. she asks veer that he is good boy and should return the bat. veer returns the bat and leaves unhappy. ranveer says that it was ok but suman turns the discussion on him that how ranveer is unable to see that his denial is causing everyone else to be unhappy. she reasons that a man becomes mature when they realise that thier decisions affect people related to them. suman leaves and ranveer thinks about it. suhasini overhears suman-ranveer's conversation and hopes that ranveer change his mind.
dadi ji is in full rebellious mode, denying food and medicines when ranveer joins the ladies of the mittal house. ranveer tries to make dadi ji eat her food but she denies. then ranveer says how will she dance in her three grandson's marriage if she dont eat. to everyone's surprise, ranveer agrees to marry. sindoora is in shock that such big decision was taken by ranveer without telling her. she thinks that ranveer surrendered to dadi ji's wish.
suman and kalavati returns home and thanks lord for solving their worries. sanjana and antara joins them. sanjana and antara are happy and excited for their marriage in six days, while kalavati feels that she will soon be sending her daughters to mittal house. suman says she will take load and do everything they can afford for sanjana and antara's marriage.
devraj, aakash, brijesh and nupur at dinning table, everyone is excited about ranveer's yes for marriage. devraj asks where is sindoora and aakash informs that she is having headache and is resting. nupur is happy about it and wishes to see sindoora but aakash says little rest will be enough.
next morning suhasini brings ranveer's milk herself and they have a conversation. suhasini talks about how they all tried but it was suman who changed his decision. sindoora overhears and is furious.
suman and kalavati returns with veer carrying some shopping bags. kalavati takes veer inside to change cloths when suman's phone rings. ranveer called suman to thank her for all her advice which helped ranveer make his whole family happy. ranveer thanks suman over and over which suman finds weird. suman wonder why ranveer is saying all this to her. while ranveer also finds it curious why he is talking with suman like this.
at mittal house, sindoora and aakash are having discussion. also nupur and brijesh are having similar discussion as well. sindoora talks about how she will not let everyone ruin her son's life. nupur on other hand wants to make sure sindoora feels the same as she feels about marrying her sons with middle-class girls.
suman and kalavati are happy with their choices for cloths for their would-be relatives but sanjana disagrees. sanjana asks them to return all these and buy even costlier designer cloths. suman and kalavati are in thought. just then kalavati gets a call from nupur asking for suman. nupur asks kalavati to send suman to mittal house alone. kalavati agrees but later thinks why she called suman alone.
as decided, suman visits mittal house and meets nupur who asks her to find a suitable middle-class girl for ranveer from her locality. sindoora overhears and gets furious. suman is in thought. as suman is leaving, sindoora calls her and scolds her. sindoora yells at suman for coercing ranveer into agreeing for marriage and threatens to break the marriage of sanjana and antara.
