Location : FARM HOUSE IN CHATTARPUR, OUTSKIRTS OF DELHI 09:00a.m.
Geet had last night missed putting mehendi on her hands as she had left from Pinky's Sangeet upset and went to her parent's room and cried herself to sleep. But today Geet had come for Pinky's Haldi ceremony for Pinky's sake but she was not being actively involved in the ceremony. She did not want to infuriate Pinky's mom any more and cause unpleasantness. Instead she sat at one end of the room (from where Pinky could see her) with Pari remembering their childhood days. Meanwhile Krishankant was sitting with Ranjit and Thakur Dinanath in informal living room reminiscing old days in Delhi. When suddenly Ranjit said, "KK yaar tu Bhabhi aur bacchon ke saath thode din aur kyun nahi Delhi mein ruk jaata? Hum sab Delhi ghoomenge aur purani yaadein taaza karenge." (KK why don't you stay back for some days in Delhi with your wife and children? We will go around Delhi and reminisce old days.)
"Haan Khurana sahaab bilkul sahi keh rahe hain. Krishankantji aap bhabhi aur bacchon ke saath gyarah (11) saal baad pehli baar Delhi aayen hain toh thode din aur rahiye." (Yes Mr. Khurana is absolutely right. Krishankant you, Bhabhi and children have not visited since you left Delhi 11 yrs. back.)
"Sujhaav to accha hai magar mujhe Radhaji aur bacchon se poochna hoga." (Its a nice suggestion but I will have to ask my wife and children!) Krishankant said hesistantly.
While elders were discussing about Rajsinghania family's stay in Delhi, youngsters were discussing something else. Rishabh had asked his brothers to meet in Farmhouse's study for a private and confidential conversation. He was about to open the study door, when he was suddenly stopped by a screaming voice, "Sameera, SamEERA! OH SAMEERA! AYUSH RO RAHA HAI!" (Sameera, SamEERA! OH SAMEERA! AYUSH IS CRYING!)
Hearing the name "Sameera", Rishabh's world stopped and he went back into his past. Past which was filled with very soft, loving and warm memories as well as painful and disrespectful memories as well. His reverie was broken by Neel's vigorously shaking him as when Rishabh refused to respond to Neel's calling and gentle shaking. Once all six brothers had gathered i.e. Rishabh, Neel, Yash, Arnav, Veer and Sid, Rishabh broached the topic, "Tum sab ne apne apne pasand ke ladkon se Geet ko milaya jo usse pasand nahi aaye." (You have all introduced Geet to boys of your choice, neither of whom she liked.)
"Bro, Geet is engaged to Karan." Arnav objected.
"Same way like she is engaged to Veer's boss." Rishabh replied. "According to our conversation, Geet and we five brother's should like the prospective groom as well. As none of the chosen prospective grooms were unanimously approved. NOW, I have chosen for Geet a bridegroom."
"Unn mahodei ka naam kya hai?" (What is the name of the gentleman?)
"MAAN SINGH KHURANA!"
There was a pin drop silence. Then Sid got up and said, "Mujhe manzoor hai" (I approve of the alliance.)
"Mujhe bhi!" Yash supported Sid. (I also approve.)
"ME TOO!" Arnav gave his whole hearted approval.
"Mujhe bhi yeh rishta manzoor hai. Mai apne boss ko kissi tehara samjhaa doonga." (I also approve and I will give some explaination to my boss.) Veer posed to grudgingly agree.
"Kintu, hummein yeh rishta kadaapi sweekaar nahi." (But I do not agree to this alliance!) Neel said in anger.
"KYUN?" (WHY?)
"Shrimaan Maan Singh Khurana ka dhram (religion) aur adhayatm(spirituality) se dur-dur tak sambandh nahi." (Mr. Maan Singh Khurana has neither any knowledge nor interest in religion or spirituality.)
"Neel hummein yeh battao ki tumhare hisaab se dhram ki paribhasha kya hai?" (Neel can you please tell me the definition of religion?)
"Dhram ki paribhasha...?" (Definition of religion...?)
"Kya dhram kewal 33 crore (33,00,00,00,000) devi devtaon ki pooja karna hai? Yaa dhram woh hai ki jismei manush satya bole, badhon kaa aadar kare, dusaron ki madatt kare, streeyon ki raksha kare, ananya ke viruddh awaaz uttaye, purusharthi (hardworking) ho, swabhilambhi (self dependant) ho athva..." (Is religion only blindly worshipping 33 crores (33,00,00,00,000) idols of Gods and Goddesses? Or religion is one in which a man is truthful, respectful, compassionate, protects helpless women, fights against injustice, is hardworking, self-dependant and...)
Just then door burst opened and Gudiya along with Pari and Khushi entered gasping for breath, "Bhai-sa aap sab yahaan beithen hain? Hum aapko poore farmhouse mein dhoondh aaye. Bauji kabse aap chheon(6) ko bula rahe hai. Jaldi chaliye!" (Bhai-sa, what are you all doing here? I have searched whole farmhouse for you. Father is calling all 6 of you for a long time. Please come quickly!)
LATER THAT DAY
The muhurth of Adi and Pink's actual pheras was at 8:00p.m. Hence, everyone both from bride's side and bridegroom's side started getting ready soon after lunch. Maan was very restless to see a single glimpse of Geet when they were being welcomed by the brides's family but was unable to see her anywhere. Similar was the case with Yash who was immensely attracted to Pari and wanted to meet her. Rishabh was still contemplating whether he had actually heard Sameera's name or it was just a figment of his imagination.Soon Adi entered the premises with his mother Sulochana and Khuranas surrounding him to the wedding venue after lot of band baaja. Rajeshwari, Pritam, Krishankant, Radharani, Meera, Gauri, Khushi, Pari and rest of Pinky's family were there to welcome them at the entrance, only Geet, Pari and Sameera were missing. Although Rajeshwari was not happy with Rajsinghania family's presence, but as Pinky use to tie "rakhi" to all Rajsinghania brothers since Pinky had no brother or sister of her own. This ritual of tying "rakhi" started much before Rajeshwari came to know about Sameera's truth and now she could not do much to change it. However, she somehow prevented Rishabh from doing any brotherly ceremonies for Pinky's marriage. Rajeshwari did welcoming aarti of Adi admist lot of jokes and teasing of Adi by his saalis.
Upstairs in Pinky's room, Geet, Pari and Sameera were giving Pinky company. When Pinky wished to use the washroom, Geet asked Pari to go down and call them once panditji asks for bride's presence. Once Pari left and Pinky was in washroom, Geet hugged Sameera and started crying, "Didi humare bhai-sa ko maaf kar dijiye. Hum aapse vaada karte hain...ki hum aapko aur Ayush ko aapka samaan aur adhikaar dila kar hi rahenge." (Didi, please forgive my brother. I promise you...that I will make sure that you and Ayush regain your respect and what rightfully belongs to you.)
"Geet yeh tum..." (Geet you are...)
"Didi aur Geet baraat aa gayi hai." (Didi and Geet bridegroom and his family hs arrived.) Pari came running to inform Sameera and Geet. Geet looked at Sameera and signalled her to not tell anyone about their conversation. Seeing Pinky coming out of washroom, Pari was startled, "Pinky agar tu yahaan hai toh jijaji ke saath mandap mein kaun beitha hai." (Pinky, if you are here, who is sitting in the mandap with Adi?)
"KYA ?" (WHAT?) Pinky yelled.
Pinky rushed downstairs muttering in anger, "That two timer, that cheat, that rat. I will not leave that Aditya Agrawal. He made a fool of me." Geet, Pari and Sameera followed Pinky downstairs trying to calm her. Seeing a furious Pinky standing there everyone was shocked. "ADITYA AGRAWAL, HOW DARE YOU MAKE A FOOL OF ME! If you wanted to marry her than why did you propose to me? You have made me a laughing stock in front all my family and friends!"
Adi was shocked seeing a furious Pinky towering in front of him, "Pinkyji, aap yahaan hain, toh yeh mohtarma kaun hain? Hummei toh laga ki iss ghunghat mein jo beithi hain woh aap hain." (Pinky if you are here, then who is this lady? I assumed that its you under the veil.)
"KHABARDAAR! Jo tumne mujhe apni baaton mein uljhaaya. Adi its over. I'm breaking up with you." (DON'T YOU DARE try to sweet talk me. Adi its over. I'm breaking up with you.)
Suddenly the "break up" song started on the music system much to Pinky's anguish.
Geet came from behind and yelled, "GAANA BAND KARO! Ek minute Pinky!" (Switch off the song! One minute Pinky!) Geet went near Adi's so called bride and lifted her veil it was none other than Sid dressed as a bride bringing laughter from everyone present.
Soon the atmosphere relaxed and the wedding ceremony started. Rishabh was shocked seeing Sameera there after so many years. But Sameera did not by any word or action show that she knows Rishabh Singhania. After about 2hours, Adi and Pinky were officially announced as husband and wife. Soon Pinky's vidaai was done and everyone left for their respective homes.
As Savitri Devi and Ranjit managed to convince Rajsinghania family to stay in Delhi for some more time, they were moved from the Hotel to Khurana's Outhouse. Krishankant and Radharani were not agreeing to stay with Khuranas as it was their daughter's sasural but Savitri Devi sweet talked them into it. Maan and Yash were happiest by this decision as they can now see their lady love when they want. However Gauri and Khushi decided to return to Mumbai. This decision caused a slight twitch in hearts of Neel and Arnav but they refused to pay attention to it.
