Dating and Marriage timeline

The concept of dating is fairly new to India, and its a part of everyones life in the US and other countries...parents in the US say, when you are 16/17 you are too young to settle for one person...i can understand tht they think its kids infatuation..and all that..but what if the gir/boy really truly love each other...then should they date for a couple of years and then get married when they r settled as adults or should they just finish school and before anything else get married??
What are your thoughts on that??

Well i think their shud be a time period btw dating and Marriage i mean u liked someone u shud have a courtship for sometime ,it depends on how much time u can give to test ur relation. Marriage is a lifetime commitment and loving a person and knowing him in/out are different things 😳

Well it depends from person to person. Only u know when is the right time to get settled however wen u do make dat decision u shud consider everything, not just love. 😊

It's the two people in the relationship who will know when it's the right time... marriage is a big commitment to make... and this step shouldn't be taken until both of you are sure that you can take this step and be commited to it... I guess the actual marriage bit is the easiest part, it's after that you have to make ur relationship work... you have to know the person properly before thinking about marriage and be sure of the fact that you you can spend your own life with each other... and then there's other things like if you are studying... I think maybe you could keep the marriage thing until after that and that also gives you more time to grow in ur relationship and understand each other more... after ur education is completed I think by then you will be sure if whether marriage is the right option for both of you...

Date sum1 dOes'nt take yOu tO the actual decisiOn, wat yOu are gOing tO take. yOu might start feeling fOr the persOn and might nOt.. sumtimes ppls dont understand tht wat to do either they are dating sumone from such a long time but they still think it soo hard to decide wat to do.. so it does'nt matter... atleast not for me 😊

But for the moment, i would say date for a few years before marrying. Either way there is no guarantee that any relationship will last be it arrange marriage or love marriage and date for years or date for a little bit- no guarantee in the things called 'love'. 😳

I think there is no guarantee that a relationship will last forever, whether u date long enough before marriage or just get marriage after 2,3 times dating or no dating at all!

People always say u have to know each other a lot before settling..but really sometimes no matter how long u have known each other...circumstances make u grow apart from each other! 😕

i think it's just a chance u take if u get married and if you really work a lot to make something great our of it...only then the marriage will work!

and yep..i feel a boy and a girl should really finish their studies first before getting married, because from what i've seen.. Some People who get married before finishing their studies..they end up never having finished it at all.. 😕
