Walking out of a show because you have a better offers is different from the show getting cancelled.

A show getting cancelled means its tanked in the ratings. And esp after just 2 seasons it would be considered a failure. Its great money, great exposure and its a matter of professional asset that you can draw the viewers after 6-7 seasons.

Going to the oscars when you are working in the industry is really a matter of your channel putting you on the list of passes they get. The talk shows she has been on is courtesy the channel promoting their star. once you lose your show ... you are unemployed. And the channel won't give a f**k about you or putting you out there.

You stay in news either because of your work or because of your scandals ... And by HW standards (not BW standards), she really is nowhere right now without her show
