ALD: Yes! I was so surprised & ended up liking him a lot despite the fact that I usually find him extremely irritating!!! But he's adorable with kids like Salman & SRK, and genuinely does love them. Always a lovely quality in men imo, even though I don't really like kids as such.

One of the most beautiful things in this universe is seeing men with babies/kids and men with dogs/cats ❤️

Making contacts and networking also requires talent. Ranveer didn't have to network with the Kapoors. They used to meet regularly and he always had an edge. Like that YRF casting director Shanoo was mentioning that she saw Ranveer at a party and approached him for Band Baaja. How did he get to the party? Without any connections at all? Come on.

RS comes from a wealthy business family & clearly had tonnes of well-connected friends growing up b/c of the school he studied in + was related to the other Kapoors, so yes, he was/is well-connected. But not a star-kid.

I don't know about this star kids rating and honestly, i don't care. But about Ranveer he is not part of KJo's clique. He is not protected like Sid. He is not a beautiful person. So when KJo wants to use Ranveer for his I am friendly with outsiders he will use him.

I remember the Koffee with Karan episode with Varun and Arjun when Varun mentions(this was before befikre release) that Ranveer was doing too good and KJo said well said. If you think KJo is not bothered that Ranveer was doing well /better than his nepotistic kids, well that's another story. after befikre poor performance, it's back to calling Ranveer the other one.

Varun Dhawan!!

Just 1-2 goof ups out of frustration doesnt wash away his previous sane & heartwarming statements on the same issue. Plus the way he's with fans, media, crew, kids & elderly ppl is wonderful, the sincerity in his eyes is evident.
