Did SLB say that? Then he needs to come clean on whom he bought when he won Filmfare best director and best film awards for HDDCS, Devdas and Black. Also Filmfare critics award for his first film Khamoshi.😛 Star Screen Awards for HDDCS, Devdas, Black. Also Zee awards, IIFA awards, Stardust awards etc. He pretty much bagged all the awards when he made films. So did he really say that "people" buy awards?😉

Now about "people" buying reviews. Ok reviews were bought but what about all those people who watched OSO tons of times and made it the biggest entertainer of 2007? Silly me, I thought Sony pictures were richer than Red Chillies.

I don't think a director of SLB's calibre would stoop to that level and make such comments.

You are right he did not stoop tthat low and thats why he did not say wrong about OSO as to others who did.😉

😆😆😆 The film was already a huge hit. Manoj Kumar suddenly woke up and claimed his rights.

He already got Filmfare lifetime award in 1999 now Screen lifetime too. May be after another 10 years he will get Zee lifetime too😆.

Just to clarify....i never stated that SLB said awards are bought (he never has as well i think!).

I only commented on the rumours of rishvat (bribes) being given in relation to the OP post. At seems as if as well as the directors/producers having their 'camps' the film award people and their sponsers i.e nokia do as well.

Camps do exist and it is most evident during Filmfare awards when almost all awards go to YRF. They somehow create new awards like 'Power' awards and make it a point to award it to Yash Chopra and if SRK doesn't win best actor then he gets a 'Power' award too.

Sunny Deol was miffed when Lagaan was appreciated more than Gadar when Gadar was the top grosser of that year. He went on to comment that Lagaan was overhyped and he deserved all the awards.

Aamir Khan thinks SLB is overhyped. He never attends awards but his father always collects his awards. Don't know about his year though.

All these people make statements according to their convinience. We take some, leave some😊.

Based on Filmfares 'camp' then CDI will get all the awards because its produced by Yash Chopra and SRK has acted in it.

It would be more interesting if they just scraped all the different ceremonies i.e nokia, star, sony, filmfare, zee etc blah blah and just had one official event

(Or is the official one IIFA?)
