first and foremost - 1. this is a work of fiction, an imaginary story conceptualised by someone, developed by a few more , dialogues written by somebody else and finally enacted by some one else. As you see there are so many layers so each person /individual will bring in their own inputs. what you see on the screen a mix of different POV already.
2. each person viewing the same scene will react differently based on his/her own personal experiences and level of tolerance. this does not necessarily mean that they accept it or endorse it. And most importantly if some thing that we watch on a screen ( either TV or movie ) were to happen in real to either us or our family or friends, definitely the reactions will be different.
I am not sure on your age or gender or region of stay, but i can say one thing,based on the exposure to the outside world, we tend to either grow strong on our opinions or mellow down drastically. this is a natural process of evolution for any human being. what we hold dearest or replusive at the teenage, may be tolerable as we move into mid ages say later 30's or early 40's.
well i am not sure if you could get what i meant, let me give you an example from our serial itself . remember the scene between sona and jatin , where sona is angry that dev is forever a mamma's boy whereas Jatin feels dev is lucky as he has a mother even at this age.
so its all about perspectives my dear, there is no right or wrong, no need to agree or disagree, or try to keep yourself in someone else's shoe and understand their Pov.
if you are looking at it as a story and not liking the narration like most of us in the forum then yup you are on right track. but if you are imagining it as people endorsing the actions, subtly agreeing to the right and wrong of what is being shown, sorry dear a television serial is never a place to learn the lessons of life.
