I loved ur post... Like really..
I was just nodding my head in yes while reading the post..

Thank God he realized that.. I really like Niti and param today..both were damn gud. Pehli baar veer se distract hui.. 😆 the episode was gud.. But I m not liking the illogical things they r showing.. M seriously not liking the show now..
Why on earth anybody would celebrate if the daughter in law is abused/slapped .. I mean I know its a hypothetical imaginary place but why on earth anybody would do that.. Celebration ka logic kya hai. ???????

Ps: My like button isn't working.. Loved ur post..

I meant that I started this thread with post on Rangeela sometime back!

U feel pity for him.. That's a relief for me to know at least some people are able to sympathize with him because I feel pity only when the chotu version of rangeela is shown.. The childhood story of rangeela can make him gain my sympathy.. I really don't understand the elder version of rangeela.. In one scene he is heartless and brainless and then in another he is all witty and kind..

I understand he grew up in Chaudhary khandaan and had witnessed all kind of evils.. Then why makers are hell bent in proving him a bad-guy-with-golden-heart ..if they would have shown him cruel merciless then probably I could have understood him.. But its a mess..

did not in the beginning until the day I made this thread when it occurred to me how completely brainwashed Rangeela has been since childhood to have ghulami become automatic...a reflex action.

Of course, the arrival of Shivani in his life has brought major changes which he isn't realising at this moment.. As u said he is sub consciously struggling with his thoughts. I agree he is and that's why I thought Shivani will be the trigger who will make him go against the malik. But when I saw him slapping him , I was like what the hell..character ki aisi taisi kr di hai..
First bring mamaji to cruelpur then make his friend salute him to cover up his mistake.. Now make him slap her and give a stupid explanation..

His actions will not change suddenly when the instinctive following of orders have been ingrained since childhood. Until the time his thinking and will take over the Ghulaam in him...we will continue to see the contrariness in his actions. Did you notice that the slapping of Shivani was in a flash in response to Veer's order? The regret was seen only once his mind took over.

Looking forward to todays episode.. Lets see what they have for us..

Supriya, I Have replied in bold in your post quoted above...
😊

Thanks yaar!🤗

In regards to not liking the post , I was actually thinking the same like you about it in wondering what makes me come back despite some obviously jarring and detracting factors ...
First, why I come back...
1: I really like Shivani's character and the way Niti is playing it and looking beautiful as she does.
2: Besides Shivani...Am really curious about the growth and fate of Rangeela and Veer ...then the others
3: The cast is great!
4: The concept is different But fast loosing track of why I liked it...

The reason that makes me want to stop sometimes is all the contrived events to make the story and the growth of characters move forward. Some of them are mind boggling with no rhyme or reason...the latest ones being...
1: putting Ghulaam on duty where he is with wife in their bedroom for the express purpose of keeping her awake,
2: Veer, Gulguli and M'wali leaving her alone with the Ghulaam again so that they could have a private conversation on the thappar ( she could have followed him after to have her say);
3: the celebration of a bahu being hit...really!
Come on whom are they trying to convince...The writers need to polish up their act in this area...

Agree dear. The dialogue r well written. How the humanity of a human is succumbed to ghulami of a ghulam. Param and niti were so good in the scene.
Param and his expression. R just. Superb 👍🏼
I hope someone stop him from hurting his hands. That's so stupid. He should think of his mother also before doing anything .
And yes it's wierd to celebrate for slapping the bahu. for first time .
why don't hey recognize that she is slapped by their ghulam not their son or family.

@arshi - ohhh I didn't notice this thread before.. Stupid me..

I started watching because of Niti then I really liked the cast and plot and cinematography of initial episodes. It looked very promising to me.. But now they r just rushing into things..

Like u said they don't have solid reasons for their doings..
They leave rangeela alone with Shivani before the slap and after the slap.. I mean why??
Celebrating this stupid thing is beyond my understanding.. Its weird.. That too a grand celebration..
Didn't I mention in the AT that they r using veer as a tool.. Veer is the crisp of the show.. And they r using him as a medium to let shiavni meet rangeela.. He isn't that stupid..

Anyways.. I am still looking forward to the things u have mentioned.. Shivani, Rashmi and their redemption .. The fight for power.. The revolt. There r many things to look forward to.. I hope they become serious in writing.. Like we really need some good writing.. Dialogues r fabulous but story isn't great. Infact there r many loopeholes..
Lets not discuss them and spoil ur Saturday..
😆
Yesterday I was damn frustrated!! Precap was stupid and lame..
Celebration!! Kuch bhi.. 😆

@arshi hey 😃
Liked ur post but i still say Rangeela's character lacks consistency and below are my reasons !!

As u said Rangeela is brainwashed from his childhood to follow Maalik's orders - yes we got to see that from that childhood toffee scene !!

But we have seen Rangeela going against Chaudhry family and Maalik's orders in below scenes :

1. He sneaked Shivani out of the house and took her to hospital even when Gulguli refused to send her !! Here he went against them , went against his Ghulaam mode for his friend, because Manju bhabhi mentioned his Amma. In this scene they wanted to show that Rangeela can go against Maalik when it comes to his Amma/friends !! No one except Maaldawali still know about this !!

2. He almost kidnapped Shivani and took her to mamaji to keep his promise !! He even said if they get caught along with him both Shivani and mamaji will be killed ! So he again went against Veer just to keep up his promise to Shivani !! In this scene they wanted to show that Rangeela is a guy who keeps up his promise !!

3. He tricked Veer and Sarkar into agreeing to keep mamaji at his place just because Shivani asked for a reciprocation of her help !! I felt as a Ghulaam that Rangeela is shown, he shouldn't be doing this as its Veer's and Sarkar's decision to keep mamaji in a dark place !!

4. He promised Veer that he will be considering him as his only God in second episode and will stay away from Shiv ji whereas we have seen Rangeela going to Shiv mandir in two instances, once when there was some auspicious occasion where he closed his eyes inorder to not violate his promise and second time when Shivani fell unconscious during the accident !! So he kind of broke his promise in these instances !!

In all the above instances, Rangeela went against his Maalik's orders/rules but was not shown to be feeling guilty for breaking them except for the Shiv ji case !!

So makers are making Rangeela to alter or break rules according to the situation when they want to show the good side of his character where as in other instances they show him as someone who can't go against his Maalik and chanting "its his dharm to follow Maalik's order" 👏👏

The only issue which i found in the complete slap Shivani scene is that , Rangeela din't even think or object for once before slapping her ? I would have been ok if he atleast tried to reason out with Veer saying "he can't slap his maalkin" or "he doesn't raise his hand on a woman" but he dint !!
He was shown refusing or reasoning with Veer when he asked him to watch over Shivani saying "he can't handle lugayi" !! I expected the same reasoning or refusing in this scene also which din't happen and this is the primary reason for me being highly disappointed with Rangeela's character after Friday's episode !!

Am still not able to feel pity for Rangeela as his stance changes according to situations !!
