Dooriyaan nazadikiyaan
Ban gayi ajab ittifaaq hai

DevDaan are not aware that they have run into each other as adults.

Their parting as kids was superbly enacted by the two kids. Thank you CVs for the treat. The two kids are so adorable - I am going to miss them extremely. But the show mustt move on. If Devanshi had any fear in leaving Jwalapuri they were totally wiped out when Vardaan told her to pick up Sakshi and move down the river. Vardaan assured her he would always be with her in her thoughts and that she too would similarly be near him. That promise gave her the courage to pick her little sister and begin a new life, penniless, and friendless.

Now coming to the young adults. I have written about Sakshi and Devanshi elsewhere so I will concentrate on Vardaan.

I am delighted in CVs choice of Vardaan. The actor does reminds me of the young Vardaan (thank you CVs for maintaining the continuity). We only got a sneak peek of him - but I look forward to see him grow in his role! I enjoyed the way he was reminiscing about Devanshi and was holding on to the chain. His self talk about hanging about the river in the hope that Devanshi would visit the spot where they parted made total sense and his muted expression was so like the young Vardaan! Best of all I loved his loyalty towards Devanshi and his determination in sabotaging the "Vad Divas" celebrations were noteworthy.

The adult Vardaan and Devanshi have shown the same resilience of character and survivor mentality that they displayed as kids. Now that itefaq has brought about their dooriyaan to nazdikiyaan - I hope they soon recognize each other (but you and I know this never happens in TV land), support each other and get to plotting their come back!

I've watched this episode and I've really enjoyed it. Finally, I am looking forward to see what's going to happen next.

The children's parting was executed so easily, so filmy... the tension, the emotions, the fear that they may not see each other again, the desolation that their plan of bringing the truth out has failed so miserably and the promise of a new beginning out of all the mess... The Hope...

All of the three children were fantastic on their last scene. The child who plays Sakshi was so good at portraying the shock that she has just been through... the way she stood there looking lifeless and executing mechanically the instructions of Vardaan and Devanshi.

The parallel drawn between past and present was another solid point of the episode.

ITA the leads are doing a fab job! I too hope DevDaan (Devanshi and Vardaan) recognize each other soon. Their meeting has happened - Devanshi managed to overpower Vardaan 🤣

Agreed - the lead actors are good.

Regarding DevDaan recognizing each other - Devanshi has literally bagged Vardaan 😉

Yes, the lead actors are really in sync with the characters.

Regarding DevDaan - Vardaan really swooned (apna hosh kho diya) at Devanshi's touch 😉

Yes, the CVs have really given a fantastic touch to the pre-leap segment. They have tied every thread that leads to the leap very nicely.

The kids were superb in the pre-leap segment. They are natural actors. The post-leap lead actors have picked up the mannerisms of the kids. So that the flow is natural. Vardaan continues to chagrin KS and upset her plans. He still does not believe in any Mata but he respects others belief in them. He continues to honor his father and performs shraad for all those who died that day (except Sarla) while KS burns Devanshi's effigy. He waits for Devanshi by the river while Devanshi (impetus as before) smothers him with chloroform and wraps him in a bag. The 'kuwewala chora' is now a "bag mein bandha hua chora" 🤣
