What to believe!!? Please peep in!!

Hi All..i am new here..have been watching the show from beginning and read some amazing posts here and love it all..But never joined due to time constraint but finally decided to join because of this question that is bothering me from some days and have got some time on my hand..

SO here's my question:
From the beginning of Season 2 Sonakshi said she is hiding Soha from Dev because she is scared he will take her away
And Yesterday she said she actually went to IN with 6 months old Soha to meet Dev..

So why was she scared when she herself took Soha to meet Dev 6 years back..

What do i believe now? Please help!!..my head is going bonkers with this question..😭

Oh welcome im confused as much as u r cos postleap Sonas talk with Soha was something else...n with the flashback ..Sonas effort n approach looked halfhearted attempt...i feel CVs forcefully inserted tis scene to justify Sona morality stand...otherwise its so contradictory!

So many last minute changes in the script I guess😆

Exactly!!..Contradictory..i am fine with creative liberties..otherwise difficult to move the story forward..😆 but this looked like a loophole in the script which is not very often in this show..

The effort was just a half hearted effort.

Ummm..yeah..may be..mostly because she was saying something else from beginning..i mean coming from Sonakshi...I love her character(does not mean hate dev..I love him too..my fav till date 😳).. very rare in today's TV shows..hope they dont compromise her character in future just for plot twist case..they already did that with some 😕😕

When the baby was 6 months old she truly wanted her to have her dad in her life.
Later on when Sonakshi says that she is scared that Dev will snatch Soha from her, it is because she sees how bitter and lonely Dev has become. This change in him and his ruthlessness makes her more scared now.
