Young and Adult Devanshi

After watching this weeks episodes there are a few striking differences between the young and adult Devanshi.

1. The young Devanshi was always optimistic - and managed to smile through all the difficulties she faced. The adult Devanshi - so far, has been shown to be predominantly crying (not tearing up but literally crying).

Has she turned pessimistic too? It is too early to tell.

2. The young Devanshi always thought ahead and was full of ideas of what to do next to achieve her goals. The adult Devanshi - is finding it difficult to get the past out of her mind. She is not thinking ahead. It is almost as if she wanted to erase the past out of her life but is unable to get it out of her mind. This is partly because of Sakshi's condition; partly because she has not come up with ideas as to how to get the best medical help for Sakshi given her economic constraints; and partly due to various other factors that have still to be shown to us viewers.

3. The young Devanshi was a go-getter, she was a doer - in fact she always busied herself doing stuff. The older Devanshi is hesitant to step ahead and get going - she feels bound by her words to Omi. The younger Devanshi would have mentally said sorry to Omi and moved on whereas the older Devanshi is reluctant to take the final plunge (symbolically she was near the edge of cliff debating whether to go ahead - when the younger Devanshi appeared and urged her to get going in locating Sakshi).

4. The young Devanshi was very emphathetic - the older Devanshi has lost some of this virtue. The way she bargained by pulling off the economically disadvantaged vendor's pen and the words of the flower vendor made it clear that Devanshi did not empathize with them. Whereas, the young Devanshi was the opposite - she went out of the way to feed a hungry person her plate of ladoos! Perhaps being economically challenged has toughened Devanshi

I am only stating the above to show how life experiences have shaped the adult Devanshi's behavior

Lol and agree. The actress unable to leave habit of crying from her previous show. Any way not watching after cute kids are gone.

I really hope she does stop crying soon and gets working on KS's case 😉

Of course, she also has to cure Sakshi and meet the love of her life Vardaan 😃

After watching the first episode post-leap, I can't bring myself together to watch other episodes. They've put Devanshi's character through too much pain. By the age of only seven she lost both her real and adoptive parents, her little sister lost her mind, and her beloved uncle was also murdered. This is too much for any human being to bare. Her personality has indeed changed after such horrible experiences.

I am sure the new cast is giving their best but what's the point when everything is so dark. They could have let at least Omi to live. He was positive and brought optimism into the show. I think that KS is the most cruel character that I have ever seen. I've lost count of how many people she has killed. And I don't know why but I'm not so interested anymore to see how Devanshi will bring her down, if she ever will...

I think it's too early to judge her at least for me...😊 Some differences would be there because that time she was an innocent child...didn't understand this world and people properly. But, all her bitter experiences might be made her like this. I think once she gets Vardaan's support she will get the same old confidence.

Yes...meeting Vardaan is most important...😃still he is waiting for her...😉

But, somehow I didn't connect with the temple scene of Devanshi.today...may be because of accent I didn't feel our Devanshi is praying to GWM. She spoke in Hindi not in Haryanvi accent.

Regarding: bold font above

Precisely!! .. she saw too much truma n death just before leap .. and her hopes had soared that they would catch the woman who had murdered her parents! In fact, she did - and exposed KS!

Unfortunately, her foster mother Sarla, had joined hands with KS in getting rid of her, Geeta, Ashu, and Ishwar. So, KS conveniently shifted the blame to Sarla and proved herself to be mahan by chopping off her hand.

Omi died and so did Sarla, Mohan escaped, and Rajjo was so weakened that she was forced to remain silent!

Sakshi's mind is totally messed up while Devanshi's self-belief was shaken. Vardaan by saving her restored some of that self-confidence so she took Sakshi and safely escaped unseen by any!

The ray of hope for each of the kids is one another. Sakshi and Devanshi drew strength from each other and the other's presence provided a reason to continue living. Vardaan's parting words had given Devanshi the feeling that at least one person in the whole world still cared for her and thought of her fondly. She drew self-confidence from him.

Now that the 3 are in the same town the dark curtain from their hearts and minds will soon be lifted . I am not saying their scars will be erased but the effect of the trauma will be minimized.

Yes, the new leads are doing a great job as dictated by the script!

Regarding bold font above

That is precisely what I was trying to convey - the effect on Devanshi's personality with growth.

I too do hope that Vardaan will have a magical effect on her - because he is her only pillar of support!
