KAIRA TS : Because they are each other's Saviors (Finished)

Kartik and Naira had just returned from their Valentine's Celebration that Naira had planned for Kartik beside the lake. The sun was about to set, both the families were busy in arranging for the haldi ceremony that was going to take place the next day. However, Dadi was furious over Kartik for going away without informing anyone. They had entered the Haveli at the wrong time, the 'mahurat' was wrong and so any 'apshagun' could have happened with him. Kartik and Naira were getting down from the jeep, Naira in her white and red salwar suit and Kartik in his red shirt, when Naksh saw them from the door in the backyard and rushed to warn them about Dadi's temperament.

Naira: Ab kya kare, Dadi humein dekh ke bahut gussa ho jayengi.

Kartik: Naksh hum ek kaam kartein hai, aap Naira ko is darwaze se andar le jao, main main gate se jaata hun.

Naksh: Par Dadi tum par bhi gussa hogi na.

Kartik: Mujh par hongi toh main sambhal lunga, lekin Naira par hongi toh ye madam apna muh sujake baith jayengi aur main apni Naira ko upset nhi dekh sakta.

Naira and Kartik stare at each other lovingly (Yeh Rishta Kya plays in background).

Naksh: Acha ab tum dono apna pyaar baad mein continue krna. Naira tm aao mere saath.

Naira leaves with Naksh from the back door while Kartik enters from the front door. As soon as her enters, Luv Kush and Mishti shout his name and run towards him, in order to know about his trip but Kartik calms them and ask them to be quite infront of Dadi. Hearing the kids' voice, Dadi rushes outside to check on her Kittu, along with Manish, Swarna, Surekha and Akhilesh.

Dadi: Kittu tum kaha chale gaye the hume bina bataye, hum tumhare liye kitna pareshaan ho rhe the. Humne galat mahurat par ghar mein pravesh kiya hai, iska sidha asar tum par ho sakta hai, Naira toh abhi tak humari kulvadhu nhi bani hai toh usse toh kuch nhi hoga par tumhe toh hum aise khatare mein nhi daal saktein hai. Kahan gaye the batao hume?

Kartik: Woh Dadi main toh bas aise hi paas mein gaya tha, yahan aaye hue bahut saal ho gaye na toh bas yuhi ghumne chala gya tha, yahan par bore ho rha tha toh...

Dadi: Tum bhi na Kittu, ghumna tha toh kabhi aur aajatein, hum kabhi tumhe mana kartein hai kya. Par aaj nhi, chalo andar, ab tum kal tak kahin bahar nhi jaoge, humari nazar ke samne hi rahoge.

Kartik: Ji Rani Sa, apka hukum siraankhon par.

(Kartik salutes at her and this makes everyone laugh at his cute antiques. He hugs Dadi and all of them go inside to their respective rooms.)

Kartik (in his room): Aaj toh baal baal bach gye warna aise hi Dadi bas hum dono ko daant deti. Chalo koi nhi, thodi der mein dinner ke liye toh milenge hi, tab Miss. Rishikesh ke darshan ho jayenge.

Naira (in her room, sitting with Gayu and Naksh): Thanks Bhai and Gayu Di, aap dono me wajah se humari date itni achi rahi. Thank you so much. Aapke bina toh meri love story ka pata nhi kya hota.

(Three of them hug each other)

Gayu: Bas bas ab itna khush mat ho warna kahin sach mein tum dono ko kisi ki nazar lag jayegi.

Naksh: Haan Naira. Tu bahut lucky hai Naira jo tujhe Kartik mila hai, aaj usne ek baar phir Dadi se tujhe bacha ke ye sabit kr diya ki woh tere liye best choice hai aur Kartik bhi bahut lucky hai kyunki usse tu mili hai. Waise bechare ko sherni ke nakhre or gussa sehna hoga but all in all tm dono ek dusre ke liye perfect hai.

(Naira makes an angry face first but then the three of them laugh together and hug).

Naitik and Rajshree were standing outside the door of Naira's room and listening to this conversation between the siblings.

Naitik: Maa, agar aaj yahan Akshara hoti toh kitni khush hoti, apne bachon ko khush dekh kar abhi tak toh ro padti.

Rajshree: Maa aur bache ka rishta hota hi hai kuch aisa Jamai Sa. Apne bachon ko khush dekhna uske jeewan ka sabse bada sukh hota hai. Meri bachi aaj jahan bhi hogi, bahut khush hogi, uski beti ka byah hai.

Naitik: Par maa, kabhi kabhi mujhe dar lagta hai, kya Naira us ghar mein adjust kr payegi, unlogon ke beech kahin woh anjan banke na reh jaye.

Rajshree: Humari Naira ne bilkul apni maa ke tarah rishton ko sanjhona sikh liya hai. Aur phir Kartik hai na uske saath, woh kabhi Naira ko koi takleef nhi hone dega. Mujhe bharosa hai apne dono bachon par.

Naitik: Bharosa toh mujhe bhi hai Maa. Bas ab sabkuch ache se hojaye.

Rajshree: Hojayega Jamai Sa. Aap dhairya rakhiye. Acha ab hm chaltein hai, bache aajayenge. Agar der hogayi toh woh log bura maan jayenge.

Soon assembled in the dining area. Kartik and Naira came at the same time from two different ends and kept staring at each other. Dadi asked everyone to sit down and enjoy the meal while Surekha Chachi went on to boast about the Shahi Bhoj that was being served. Everyone settled in the dining area, Dadi and Bhua Dadi occupying the two chairs at each end of the table, the Goenka's sat on the side closer to Dadi while Singhanias and Maheshwaris occupied the chairs closer to Bhua Dadi. Kartik was made to sit two chairs away from Dadi, with Priyanka Masi and Keerti occupying chairs on his either sides while Naira was sitting on the side opposite to Kartik, in between Naksh and Gayu. Naksh was sitting next to Naitik with Bhua Dadi's chair beside Naitik. Naksh and Akhilesh had made a very good arrangement of course. Servants were standing close to the table incase the families needed anything. Mishti, Mansi and Luv Kush were sitting nearby and they were giggling that made Dadi furious but Manish eyed Dadi not to react. Swarna was happy to see Kartik and Naira smiling at each other and she prayed silently for their happiness. Naira and Kartik kept on staring at each other, having fun in their 'ankh-micholi'.

Soon everyone finished having their food and the plates were cleaned. They were then served with desserts, different types of cupcakes, ice creams, sweets etc. The elder members of Goenkas had their fat-free desserts and left while the Singhanias and Maheshwaris enjoyed the traditional marwari sweets. Soon even they finished and left for their rooms, leaving behind the younger generation, Mishti, Kartik, Mansi, Keerti, Luv, Kush, Naksh, Gayu, Kuhu, Ananya, Ranveer and Naira and also Priyanka Masi.

Luv: Bhaiya ab toh Dadi gayi, ab aap Naira Didi ko aaram se stare kar saktein ho.

Kush: Haan Bhaiya, ab toh kaam easy hogaya hai.

Kartik: Tum dono kuch zyada jaldi nhi bade ho rahe ho.

Keerti: Ab Bhai tu aise Naira ko hi dekhta rahega toh sab bolenge hi na. Kyun Gayu?

Gayu: Haan haan Kartik, ab tum dekhlo isse aaram se. Naira tu bhi dekhle.

Ananya: Haan guys tum dono continue kro.

Kartik: Nhi nhi, main kahan dekh raha hun, main toh bas table ke taraf dekh rha tha. Woh Naira ke samne cupcakes hai na, itne tasty hai, main toh unhe dekh rha tha.

Naksh: Hume ache se pata hai Kartik tm Kise dekh rhe the. U continue, hum sabki aankhein band hai. We won't see anything.

Mishti: BFF, aapko Naira Didi se zyada cupcakea ache lage jo aap unhe nhi balki cupcakes ko dekh rhe the.

Kartik: Ahh...Haan...(Naira looks at him angrily) I mean nhi...aa...haan...nhi...

Mansi: Ab aaplog mere bhaiya ko aise mat tang kro. (Kartik smiles and gives Mansi a flying kiss)

Priyanka Masi: Bas bas ab in pyaar karne walon ko aur pareshaan nhi kartein hai. Hum sab chaltein hai, inhe thoda dessert time detein hai.

Ranveer: Haan toh hum chale? Ananya inhe yahan apna romance krne detein hai, hum apna romance krtein hai, kyun?

Everyone (while Ananya blushes): Waah Jiju

Keerti feels bad about her and Aditya's relationship after seeing Ranveer and Ananya but she calms herself and enjoys the moment with her siblings.

Naksh: Waise baat toh apne sahi ki Jiju, let's leave these love birds alone.

Masi: So what are we waiting for, chale?

Keerti: Haan chaltein hai.

Gayu: Naira tu room mein aajana time se warna Bhua Dadi gussa ho jayengi.

Mishti: Bye BFF, enjoy your last romance before marriage.

Everyone leave and Kartik comes across the table beside Naira who is blushing. He bends down on his knees and turns her chair to face him. Naira and Kartik's eyes meet and they stare each other.

Kartik: Aaj humara shaadi se pehle ka aakhri dinner. Ab se hum har raat ek saath baith kar dinner krenge, would be Mrs. Naira Goenka.

Naira: Naira Kartik Goenka

Kartik smiles and Naira bends to touch her head to Kartik's. They get up and Kartik plants a soft kiss on Naira's forehead. She keeps her head on his chest, hearing his heart beat for her, this was the safest place for her in the world.

Kartik: I love you Naira.

Naira: I love you too Kartik.

Kartik then picks up the pudding bowl infront of him and very lovingly, feeds Naira a spoonful of it. Naira eats it and makes a face.

Naira: Eee... yukkk.. ye kya tha.. itna ganda taste hai iska..

Karthik looks at the bowl in his hand, then at Naira and again at the bowl.

Naira: Ye kya khila diya tumne mujhe. Itna feeka hai ye.

Karthik: Ek minute. (Kartik eats it) Thik hi toh hai, bas mitha thoda kam hai. Ye shayad Naksh ka bowl hai, uske liye sugar free pudding bani hogi na (as Naksh is diabetic).

Naira: Bhai pata nhi ye kaise kha letein hai. Mujhse toh ye feeki pudding bilkul bhi nhi khayi jayegi.

Kartik: Arey ye feeki kahan hai, ismein itni toh mithas hai, mere pyaar ki.

Naira smiles at him and hugs him again.

Naira: Kartik, tum humesha mujhse aise hi pyaar karoge na. Kabhi mujhe chor ke nhi jaoge na. Hum dono ne apni apni families ko apne se itne saalon tak door rakha tha, unke pyaar ko nhi samjha tha. Ab agar humare beech kabhi doorie aa gyi toh main handle nhi kr paungi.

Kartik: Shhh... Main aisa kabhi hone nhi dunga. Hum dono ne ek dusre ko promise kiya hai na ki hum humesha ek dusre ko trust krenge and kabhi zyada der tak ek dusre se gussa nhi honge. Aaj ek aur promise karta hun Naira, main kabhi tumhe akela nhi chorunga, kabhi humare beech kisi tarah ki misunderstanding ko aane nhi dunga. I will always be by your side no matter what. I promise you.

Naira: Main bhi. Promise.

Kartik: Lekin agar tum mujhe kachori khane nhi dogi toh main tumse gussa ho jaunga aur Rajshree naani ke paas jakar unse tumhari shikayat karunga. Ab agar woh tumhe daant ti hai apni pati parmeshwar ki baat na manane par toh main tumhara side nhi lunga.

Naira: Tumhe khane ke alawa kabhi kuch sujhta bhi hai. Humare itne important vaade ke beech mein bhi tumhari Kachoriyaan aa gyi.

Kartik: Haan toh. Tum bhi toh dance ko leke possessive ho. Toh main bhi Kachoriyon ko leke possessive hun.

Naira: Haan jao, jake naani ki un Kachoriyon se shaadi krlo. Tumhe toh har cheez mujhse zyada achi lagti hai. Ye cupcakes bhi tumhe mujhse zyada pasand hai na toh khao inhe hi tum.

(Naira picks up a fruit and nut cupcake from the plate infront and brings it close to Kartik's mouth)

Karthik (moving two-three steps back): Naira I am sorry.. main toh mazak kar raha tha.

Naira: Sorry kyun bol rhe ho mujhe, lo apne cupcake par focus karo.

Karthik: Naira meri baat toh suno pehle I can't (and she stuffs his mouth with the cupcake before he can complete the sentence).

Karthik wanted to spit out the cake but seeing Naira walking away angrily, he runs behind her.

Kartik calls out her name but she turns to give him an angry look and goes towards her room, while stands there confused as to what to do to make up to his Naira. He thinks of going after her into her room but then suddenly Karthik's vision blurred and his eyes started watering.

There Naira entered her room in full on sherni mode and sat on the bed. Gayu and Ananya were already there, discussing about their clothes for the Haldi ceremony when Naira entered. They asked her about why she is angry and she told them what happened. Ananya and Gayu burst into laughter and even Mishti, who heard the conversation entered laughing.

Gayu (giggling): Tune itni choti baat ke liye uspe itna gussa kar diya.

Mishti: Aap bilkul pagal ho Naira Didi, jab dekho bas BFF par gussa ho jati ho.

Naira: Main kya karun, woh kaam ho aise karta hai. Kachoriyan use mujhse zyada pyaari hai. Aise thodi na hota hai.

Ananya: Naira, Kartik is duniya mein sabse zyada pyaar sirf tujhse karta hai.

Gayu: Usne har baar ye sabit kiya hai ki tu uske liye sabse zyada important hai. Aur tu hai jo uske mazak ko itna seriously leke baith gayi.

Mishti: Aap baitho yahan muh fulake, main jati hun BFF ke paas.

Mishti entered Kartik's room but he was not there. She asked Luv Kush and Mansi about Kartik but they too knew nothing. She went out in the garden and saw Naksh and Akhilesh assembling the decors for the next day and she asked them if they had seen Kartik but the reply was negative. She checked in almost every room possible, Rajshree's room, Badi Dadi's room, Naitik's room, even dared to knock on Dadi's, Manish's and Surekha's doors and ask them but none of them had seen him. Mishti then went to Naira, who was now alone in her room, and asked about Karthik.

Mishti: Naira Didi aapne BFF ko dekha kya. Apse ladai ke baad woh kahan gaye the?

Naira: Nhi toh, maine use nhi dekha, kyun?

Mishti: Pata nhi didi, main bahut der se dhundhe rhi hun mujhe mil hi nhi rahe.

Naira: Wo Kartik yahin kahin hoga, ruko main phone karti hun.

She was about to dial his number when she suddenly had this bad feeling that something is not right. Her heart was telling her something is going wrong somewhere, she felt like Kartik was in some trouble. Worried, she called at his number hurriedly and went out to search for him. Mishti ran to Gayu and told her that Kartik was missing and she too joined Naira in her search. Naira rushed to the backyard and the parking but Kartik was nowhere. It was nearly an hour ago they had a small fight and now Kartik was nowhere to be found. Naira told Naksh about it and he took a car and went to look in the areas nearby. Gayu took Keerti and Mansi's help too and every one looked for him but he was not there. Naira could feel that Kartik was in pain and she was desperate to find him, apologize to him, but her love was missing.

And here, Karthik was in a miserable condition. He had gone straight into the bathroom attached to his room in order to wash his teary eyes, where he noticed the red rashes on his hands. He looked into the mirror and saw that his eyes, his face, his neck, all had turned red. He knew what was happening and also that it was dreadful, he needed medical attention immediately. He came out of the washroom and unable to stand, he collapsed on the sofa nearby. He was breathing heavily and his head started throbbing. Suffocated he opened the first buttons of his shirt. He was sweating profusely. Still not better he tried to get up and call someone for help but he couldn't, his body had lost all its strength. He fell on the sofa once again holding his chest trying to breathe in, fidgeting due to the pain. He tried to overcome the pain in his abdomen and chest by turning over but instead fell on the opposite side. Mishti had come into the room and on seeing the room empty, she had even called out his name but she had received no response. The bathroom doors were open so she didn't check the bathroom and left. Kartik wanted to respond but couldn't, her mouth was dry and he felt like he didn't have the strength to speak. He lay there in a semi-conscious state, unable to call for help, unable to receive his phone that was vibrating on the bed.

So k is allergic to nuts... which naira gave him... ;-(..please update soon. .. no cliffhanger please
