Before any one decides to throw andas and tamatars my way, I'm sorry for being MIA. I have a very hectic week ahead of me and haven't had the time to watch the episodes until now. Have taken a little break and I'll do a quick review. Hopefully, this isn't too outdated. :P Please don't hate on me for the delay. 😆

I just saw the VDay 2 episode and I'm going to give my two cents on it now.

Not my usual style - where I divide the episode into important issues and give my thoughts on it. This one's more a #ReasonsWhyKaira'sVDayMadeMeSwoon kinda review.

1. When Kartik's first thought when he hears the tiger growl is to find Naira and get them out safely. She's more important than life itself. :)

2. When Naira Singhania - the girl who couldn't quite figure out her feelings for Kartik, who was in denial for a very very long time, that girl now can confidently shout out from the rooftops about her love for Kartik. It's a strong indication of how that cloud of doubt that loomed over her head has cleared and given way to the clarity of her feelings for him.

3. When Kartik and Naira mirror each other's actions. It was adorable!❤️ Always keep the child in you alive! :D

4. When they lay on the bench, their fingers intertwined, I feel more in love with them Their destinies were always going to be linked, right from the moment they started arguing in Rishikesh to when they meet in Udaipur. K&N were bound for life.

5. When Kartik told Naira that they shouldn't fight after marriage and Naira's immediate reaction was to scoff at the incredulity of the statement. Their relationship started with fights and they were going to disagree every now and then. That's a sign of a healthy relationship - where you fight, but aren't deaf to the other person's voice. A successful marriage isn't one that is devoid of arguments, it's one where you can freely express each other, fight and then kiss (!!!) and make up.

6. When Kartik and Naira decided to make a few promises to each other in front of their makeshift fire. They were childish promises, to give up a stinky green tea deo (What even? Do these things exist?!), to throw out the herbal (err, horrible) shampoo, to not shower on Sundays. But in those childish promises, there was one that transcended all other promises - to always love each other. I'm reminded of Meredith and Derek's wedding vows (from Grey's Anatomy, in case any one doesn't know them) - To always love me even when you hate me. There will be difficulties ahead for Kaira (never to the point of hate) - but my point is they'll love each other even when they don't want to. They're in this together, for life.

Edit: I completely missed the curtain romance. Can someone make a gif of that? It was so well done!

I love the greys anatomy reference that you made... it's so true for both of them.. I remember another episode in GA where Derek says he loves mer so much that it hurts... guess this us also going to come true soon.. Karthik would say it to naira when she throws away his nuclear family plan..

An amazing review as usual.. yes kaira are kids themselves and it's good to keep the child inside you alive which most of us forget. . Lol and Karthik tellimg her not to look at guys... was so cute.. I love kaira si so so much...

Haha, yeah that was funny - in keeping with the whole chill vibes of that scene. But if someone says that to me in real life, I would be really pissed, so I didn't like it very much. That's why I didn't include it in the review. These things irk me - not talking to the opposite gender because of a relationship is not something I can ever support. Deleting a person versus deleting a deo/shampoo from your life is different. K&N are such real characters that I didn't enjoy that dialogue as I enjoyed the rest of them. Don't know why I'm going all bhashan heavy here.😆

And I sincerely hope creep is exposed soon.. let him try to get back in revenge in whatever way possible.. but he needs to be exposed... I am sick of howork MG and GT carry him on their heads.. he needs to be in his right place and that's jail...

To a certain extent MG deserves the cold treatment he gets from Karthik... he is definitely a failure as a father to both karthik and keerthi and one who holds business and status more higher than a daughters pain deserves to go through this..
