No emotional bond with his daughter

Theres no respect for women in this family (except Dadi).

This man never seems to either notice or care about his wife's suffering whom he actually lives with and sees every day (the way Dadi taunts and belittles her every moment possible). Forget abt his daughter who he rarely sees.

Dadi and Manish wont even support Keerti if she speaks and their word is law in that house (the only one with courage to rebel seems to be Kartik) and knowing these 2 backward people, they will blame it all on Keerti ('its ur fault that you're not doing ur wifely duties properly' type blame).

Keerti's unwillingness to speak up and rebel against Aditya has been instilled in her from a young age by her own family (plus the victim mentality that exists in these situations). Other women in the family like Swarna always stay quiet and conform to Dadi's beliefs (I'm not belittling Keerti's abuse by comparing her to Swarna (altho Swarna herself experiences a milder form of neglect and verbal abuse at the hands of Dadi and Manish) I'm just saying that her staying silent and staying with Adi stems from learned behaviour from what she has seen in her own family dynamics).

Yes, after today, what little progress Swarna made has been undone by Manish. I'm hoping that Swarna finally finds the courage to stand against Dadi and Manish by helping Keerti, I hope that she doesn't ignore her intuitions and talks to Keerti.

Goenkas definitely discriminate between boys and girls.
Which is a pretty horrible thing to do.

Dadi is a women herself and she still considers females as second class citizens.

Kirti is his own daughter and not once Manish thinks of her happiness. He knows something is wrong between creep and Kirti, yet he believes it to be Kirti's fault.

Thankfully Suvarna saw Kirti in pain, hopefully she will think more about it.

Want Karthik to notice Kirti's pain too.

The only flaw that i see karthk is his too much trust on dadi and not seeing his sister's pain.

Very true. Manish cares only abt his reputation n least bothered abt his daughter pain.

It's true that Manish loves his wife but then also she hasn't given authority to keep her views in front of them...
It's always about what daadi and Manish thinks or want...
Well the main problem for the lack of bonding is daadi...
Kartik should see her true face...
Both mother-daughter duo are just behind money and fake respect...
Kartik said correct that Mr. Goenka is always busy in his business meetings...
To gain small profit he tends to ignore big one and the relations...
I doubt Keerti telling the truth after hearing her dad words...

Well! Manish is too busy in earning money to notice the strain in his daughter relationship...
But yes I am hopeful about Swarna...
Maybe after mehendi fiasco somewhere she too has started doubting...

Yes, his reckless attitude towards his own children had made them far from him...
And when truth of Keerti marriage will be out this gap will just intensify...
As of now I too am disappointed with Kartik character growth...

I think he is not at all bothered...
Swarna believe Keerti is matured enough to not let them down...
While Manish is on his blaming spree for Keerti...
