I finished rewatching certain episodes on Youtube this morning. And I just had to make a post about how amazing the show was, is and always will be.đł Every character was grey. From Udaybeer, Jaynandini, Dadi-Saab, Akash and even Manyata. That's what I love about the show. No character is someone who can take a high moral ground. They are all selfish in their own way. Everyone has an agenda. The antagonist (Jaynandini) was someone I hated but at times I felt sad for her too. For me, the best thing the show did was getting the characters right and the best possible actors to do the characters justice. đNot to forget, the amazing chemistry between Uday and Manyata. Uday is one of my favorite characters from television.â¤ď¸ Period. I have never liked the self-sacrificing types. And Uday is anything but sacrificing. He goes after what he wants with a vengeance.đ Its refreshing and amazing to witness.
Another highlights were the Uday and Dadi-Saab scenes. The way they scheme was so brilliant. đTwo very cunning people talking politics, life in general and the most important woman in their life (Manyata).
Darn it, I just feeling so nostalgic, so decided to share my feelings here. I still remember the fun I used to have in this forum so long back. Discussing the actions of the characters that we hate to love and love to hate. đł
I wish it would re-air on television. We need more shows like this. Stylish, fast-paced and amazing actors playing interesting roles.
I don't know who will read this after so many years. But, I just had to share my feelings. So many years have passed. Yet I still feel giddy watching the show.đł
Thanks to the whole team of Dekha Ek Khwaab for giving us such a fantabulous show.đ
