Anurag Basu Clarifies y JJ Release il get Delayed

There has been reports doing the rounds that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaifs Jagga Jasoos may be delayed once again. The film has been in the making since a few years and after failing to release last year, it was reported to hit the screens on April 7. However, director Anurag Basu says since his new project Jagga Jasoos is a family film, he would prefer to release it at the right time instead of doing so right in the middle of students' exams.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 board examination for 2017 starts from March 9 and would conclude on April 29. The exam dates are delayed reportedly due to the ongoing state assembly polls in five states, including in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. However, Basu says that they will delay the film only if they get a better date for the release of their film. As the director tweeted today, "Jagga Jasoos is a family holiday film. Since exams are pushed at most of the places, we are contemplating the delay. Only if we get a better date." ALSO READ -
