As much as I am happy that Sallu is playing this role, that much I am specktical that Remo is directing this.
As far as dancing goes, I don't think Sallu should dance at all, rather he should be kind of like extremely against dancing. You know like when he was young, he took part in a dancing competition to save his mother who needs to be treated and needs money, but he loses the dance show and his mother dies. Also we have to show that it was his mother who brought him to dancing thing. So we can build a story of his mother(dad died when he was still a toddler) inspiring him, training him for dancing.
You can pick a old video of him dancing(we can do that, just have to pay) when he was young and slim. He basically starts hating dancing, as he thinks dancing will not provide a good financial. So here comes the main plot which is a young talented dancer(whoever plays the daughter), who dances despite stiff rejection from her dad. But the biggest twist all the while would be that daughter is helped by an unnamed person, and in the end she finds out it is her own dad. Who all this while was secretly helping her, it was only his ego which held him back to show his support in public.

Salman going out of his comfort zone.. good to see..
