Love and the Space-Time Continuum

And here is the part where it gets tricky and complex but also clever and deep..

Through various struggles and immense courage and determination, ViTharv had managed to eliminate all physical space between them, yet the emotional distance remained. Why? Because they were separated by the time lines in their heads! They were standing at two different time points, which were three months apart!

Is time a bigger enemy then? Creating impossible distances that cannot be crossed?

(For folks of the real world, the answer is No. That is why we have been blessed with memories and the power of communication. These are the types of situations where it is really necessary to show/explain your thought process through detailed examples. You have to let the people you love but who missed out become a part of your experiences, both good and bad. The distance can only be eliminated when they can share your memories too.)

For dramatic ViTharv of the fictional world, let's assume the answer is yes. 😛

Thus, we had a love struck couple living in two separate time zones.

Among my MANY issues with R's character, I will speak only of the one that is directly relevant to ViTharv and this topic. The one-sided love. Regardless of who played the character and how well it was done, this is one aspect I could never identify with or understand.

Essentially because I truly believe that it is not possible to deeply love someone you do not know well. Love requires time (see how time sneaks itself in everywhere!😛) to develop.

In phase 3, especially recently, I felt the same about Atharv (no violence please!😳). He deeply loved phase 1 Vivi but this was not that girl. Now he loved a stranger. Could that love sustain without the connection? I guess TIME will tell (the cheeky know-it-all😆).

This also gave me incredible insights into the challenges of long-distance relationships. Time passes differently for such people. There are no shared experiences. How much more important communication must be in these equations, as it becomes the only way to share memories.

I raved and ranted about it, but ViTharv refused to relent until they'd made their point. In relationships, time is as important as both physical and emotional space/distance in sustaining healthy equations. Bridge that gap with words and actions. Love is only enough when you are at peace with you.

P. S: This was meant to be my farewell post (so Archie and Kells cannot complain about my lack of notice anymore😃) as well as a postmortem of my JNDSD journey.

But then Whispa, my stubborn kiddo, just would not give up. Like our mutual love Vivi, she stood her ground and pulled me back to the forum. Like Atharv, I foolishly resisted, but I guess we're both learning when to "shut up!" and listen to the ones who love us.😆 And so, here I am. 😳 Gimme your words peeps, and ummm, see you soon, I guess😛

@Bold This is so true! And when you look at Vitharv here it is not even physical distance that is causing a communication barrier but memories themselves! Vividha cannot forget certain memories & Atharv cannot remember the same ones! This is what is creating that space between them and like you have already pointed out Atharv loves Vividha but she is not the same person that she was in phase 1 and Atharv does not know this Vividha very well and nor has he given himself or herself the chance to get to know her!

And your wonderful post is exactly why I won't let you stay away from this forum. You always see things differently and interpret things differently and most importantly, you make me think.

It was interesting what you said about ViTharv eliminating all space between them, yet the distance has remained. And it is because Vivi has lived those three months enduring pain and humiliation and loss, whereas Atharv simply can't remember that time period. He's started his life again from where he left off from the separation. He hasn't experienced what Vivi has so he can't relate to her feelings because he hasn't been able to share them.

But, despite all of that, Atharv's love for Vividha has not changed even though she is a different person from the one he fell in love with. And Vivi's love, if anything has grown for Atharv. I truly believed that she fell in love with baby Atharv too and that is one thing that Atharv just doesn't know.

Right now, we have effectively two different people. Phase three Vividha and phase one Atharv who are in different time zones. Yet, I truly believe that their love is greater then everything. Despite the time Atharv lost, and despite not being able to share the experiences Vivi went through, ViTharv's love transcends time and space because they have loved with their souls. Nothing else matters.

We've seen Vividha's fitoor over the last few days and I truly believe we will see Atharv's in the upcoming days.

P.S. Wish, my love for you is as great as my love for Vivi. I'm not letting you go anywhere!

If you remember I told you we need sone one to put sense into our brains and that's your perspective dear.

Well anything which is considered within the frame of time and space is science whereas emotions, Love and mind are out of that zone. So as Vitharvs love too, its beyond these and will eventually triumph.

I mentioned this earlier to in whispas one thread where I was angry at Vitharv , more on vividha that moment for her actions that Atharva still thinks its the old Vividha who takes time for her realizations and doewnt know this Vividha who very well knows what she wants and she is confident about it. He probably will see that today but I guess the leap and seperation will still not give him a chance enough to know this Vividha but they will be falling for each other all over yet again after the leap where Atharva will see the different Vividha and fall for her too.

Though I wanna kick him and he deserves much more than a slap from Vividha, this mans love is beyond anything. Vikram does it so well the transitions and portray of emotions that he doesnt allow me to hate Atharva from the heart because we have loved him as much as Vividha loved him.And Shivani... what do i say about her portrayal of Vividha, Last couple of episodes shes been at her best and it continues today.

Lets see where Vitharv take their lices from here and how they meet yet again just to be with each other. Their love is too strong for us too to leave them... Once again Welcome back Wish :)
