hah sRukh Khan again ran into trouble after veteran actor Manoj Kumar threatened to sue him for the latter's alleged derogatory depiction in his film "Om Shanti Om".If this was not enough, the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) reportedly objected to the actor using international cricket venues in India to allegedly promote OSO.
In his reaction, Khan declared that he would never go to watch a cricket match ever. The war of words led to BCCI doing damage control by extending their invitation to Khan at the matches.
His earlier movie "Chak De! India" was a major hit where he played the role of the hockey coach who transforms a rag-tag India women's hockey team into world champions.
Another Khan, Aamir, was also seen fighting a personal battle in the court for custody of his brother Faisal Khan. Suffering from schizophrenia, Faisal had alleged that Aamir had ill-treated him.
On the cinematic front, while it was a good year for small budget films, big budget films barring Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om, performed poorly.
