Yes you read it right! Vividha is a cultureless woman!
She has no sanskars, it is just another set of formalities that she has to accommodate to Co-exist in a world that thrives of on culture.

But Vividha's love is so pure that it is synonymous to a kind of devotion! This girl Lives & Breathes Atharv!

The reason I called Vividha Cultureless is because I really believe she is and I am proud of her for the same reason.

Since Indian Culture & Philosophy has been used to s**t-shame & Question Vividha's character time & again I would like to use the same to give her the appreciation that she so rightfully deserves!

Hindu Philosophy is driven by Objective reality & Subjective reality where Prakriti is objective & Brahmanda is Subjective. Prakriti is Nature it has no origin or destruction instead it creates & destroys and it cannot be controlled. Brahmanda is culture and it was created by man.

The Love that stems from Vividha's heart and soul is Prakriti,When her father forced her to marry Ravish she bowed down before the norms of Brahmanda but her love never did! There was only so much rituals could make her do, it couldn't change what her heart felt. Hence the Karva chauth for Atharv rather than Ravish. Love is nature but marriage is culture. What Vividha & Atharv have for each other is beyond any man-made rituals. Because you can take away Atharv from Vivivdha but you cannot take away what she feels for him and vice versa.

Vaish Kamini🤗,

Beautiful post! Short and sweet... I love this part *What Vividha & Atharv have for each other is beyond any man-made rituals. Because you can take away Atharv from Vivivdha but you cannot take away what she feels for him and vice versa* Because it is so true! She considered him her husband the day she gave him her heart and yes she married another man, but one can understand the reason why she did what she did. And when opportunity presented itself she allowed herself to be fully free to enable her to be back with the man she loves more than herself! His mere name on her hand, brings her immense happiness...such is her love for him!

Vividha is indeed unsanskari, as she refuses to bow down to the norm of society. She refuses to allow herself to be used as an object of her father's self satisfying ego. She refuses to bow down to marriage just because she is married to a *good man* because she simply does not love him!

Such a good post Vaish, I actually learnt stuff. 😆

The irony of the fact that much of what hinders our ability to be true to ourselves is human construct never escapes me! Society's double standards have become this golden standard of morality, as if living for everybody else is desirable in any way. And standing up for yourself and your own ideals and emotions, well that is just immoral and unacceptable!

What a warped world.

I was very proud of Vividha today for her 'culturelessness' as you so accurately called it.

Thank you so much!

Sometimes I think it was good that the makers made R a mahaan rather than negative or grey because it makes Vividha's journey more special. Breaking her marriage would have been easy if it was a bad guy but he isn't so it's good that the makers have highlighted and laid emphasis on her free-will!

Thank you Alishah😆

Exactly! Humans create rules & rituals and take pride in their own hypocrisy! We have been given such a beautiful life to Love, Live & Let Live but half the time it's wasted in trying to follow those rules & rituals or defying them!

Vaish! What a beautiful post!

I can just imagine the names Vividha has been called today because she did what she did.

But this time Vividha is doing what makes her happy. Like you said, her love is almost a kind of devotion. No one can take Atharv away from Vividha's heart and soul. She lives and breathes him. He is all that matters to her.

I just love this woman!

Thank you whispa!

Vividha as an Woman has set some serious standards in Love & no amount of name calling is going to change that! and we know the real reason behind the name calling too it has nothing to do with sanskaars🤪

I love Vividha too😆
